Bridgeport Reservoir is a lake at the lower end of Bridgeport Valley in Mono County, California. Its earth-filled dam was constructed in 1923 by the Walker River Irrigation District, along the East Walker River. The campground and marina was built I-don't-know-how-long ago, but it sure is nice!
About Us: Welcome to Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground. Join us for the classic camping and fishing experience with unique views of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Within the Toiyabe National Forest, Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground is conveniently located near two distinct hot spring areas. A true angler's paradise, the Reservoir has excellent trout fishing from spring through fall and is close by to multiple rivers for incredible fly fishing. A 35 minute drive on highway 120 will take you to the Tioga Pass Gate of Yosemite National Park. This gate is a great start to several different areas inside of the park that you may want to visit beyond that gate. Off-road enthusiasts would not have enough time in one visit to explore all of the 4x4 trails, abandoned mines, and sites in the area as well as the famous trail that brings you right to the Bodie Ghost Town.
Climate and Ecosystem: At 6,400 feet (1,950 meters), this high desert climate has little to moderate tree coverage and gets hot during the days and cool at night. The conditions are much like Joshua Tree National Park or Alabama Hills camping area. During your visit, you will notice many flying insects that resemble mosquitos. These Chironomid are harmless and do not bite. On the contrary, the mosquito presence is very minimal.
Swimming in the lake is possible usually between April to July.

It’s important to us that our guests don’t feel they are renting a tent/RV site or a camper as much as they’re immersing themselves into the outdoor experience. You may just want to sit outside and read for days, enjoy campfires and eat s'mores. For more adventurous, there's a full slate of self-guided recreational activities, such as hiking, kayaking, fishing, ATVing, rock climbing, biking, natural water slides, stand up paddle boards, bird watching, available in the area. We do have modern conveniences such as wifi internet; however, we encourage our guests to “unplug” and immerse in the slow paced life instead.
At Paradise Shores, we believe in protecting people, animals and the planet. We make sure that the majority of products we use at our camp is recycled, composted, or re-used. We prefer to use products that are produced in a sustainable way and avoid those that aren't.
We are continuously reducing the amount of waste we generate and actively promote recycling of aluminum, plastic, glass, and cardboard. We pack our own recycling and haul it to the nearest recycling facility which is an hour away. We co-opt the drive with other activities to reduce waste. We don’t use individually packaged toiletries or one-use products. We use plant and planet friendly detergent.
We're based in a desert. We share our precious water with the entire planet. With only 326 million cubic miles of water on the earth, the decreasing amounts of access to quality fresh water is alarming to us. We monitor how we use water in our day-to-day activities and are constantly working on ways to reduce our consumption of fresh-water resources.

We hope Paradise Shores Camp becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. We’re surrounded on three sides by the high Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yosemite National Park, Tuolumne Meadows, Mono Lake, June Lake, Virginia Lakes, and Twin Lakes, as well as the historic gold-mining town of Bodie, CA are all within a short drive from our place.
We're proud to know this area intimately and are excited to share the secret spots with you. The excellent hiking/running trails including the Pacific Crest Trail, thousands of miles of ATV, dirt bike and mountain bike trails are accessible right from our camp or within a short drive from here. The surrounding terrain offers endless activities and unbelievable scenery in remote wilderness settings.
Pet Policy
All our RV & Tent sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation for a small fee. We can also accommodate up to two four-legged campers in our pet-friendly Baja or Tatra trailers for a small fee, we ask that they stay off the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) and are not left in the rental unattended. We love dogs, but sadly won’t be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren’t house trained. Additionally, our insurance will not allow "aggressive breeds" that include any mix of: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Sheppard.
Please pick up after your pup and use a leash when at the camp. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help in keeping our camp a mellow and enjoyable place for everyone.

Harbison Canyon is surrounded by rocky peaks, with a CREEK! We have multiple species of song birds, owls, hawks, and other wildlife that live in this Riparian Habitat. There is a chorus of frogs throughout the spring nights, and crickets year round!
It's a very short walk to the neighborhood park- equipped with several types of playground equipment and public creek access, a five minute drive to a Crestridge Ecological Reserve or 20 minutes to the entrance of Cuyamaca State Park and Cleveland National Forest.
We have three campsites and a cabin on about an acre of land. If you'd like to hang out on the property, we offer a table and chairs with each campsite to lounge in while enjoying the fresh air and nature. There are also a couple of hammocks available.
In addition, our SHARED amenities include an outdoor kitchen that includes a sink with hot water, 2 mini fridges,(full at times, extra coolers available) coffee maker, a two burner stove, a griddle, a toaster oven, blender, tea kettle, and a few pans, plates, bowls, cups, and utensils. Also here to SHARE is a Propane fire pit and BBQ area. The bathroom now includes a flush toilet, sink and shower. We are continuously making improvements.
Fun Fact:
Harbison Canyon was named after John Stewart Harbison - aka the King of the Bee Keepers. He arrived with over one hundred colonies of bees in 1874 and within 7 years he became the world's largest honey producer!
Today there are just a few bees in the area.

Farther away but worth the drive, especially in the warmer months, is Whiskeytown Lake, a 3,000 surface-acre reservoir of crystal-clear water that’s perfect for sailing, kayaking, fishing, and windsurfing. If you prefer to stay dry, admire it from the shore and hike to the 220-foot Whiskeytown Falls. A drive to the east are the fascinating steam vents, mud pots, fumaroles, and Sulphur Works of Lassen Volcanic National Park.

Hello all! If you're looking for some glamping with creature comforts, while just being 10 minutes away from restaurants. This is the place for you. We are a 5 acre property and home surrounded by tall redwood and oak trees. Very green and lots of shade. These are the amenities/facilities you will have free access to: Pool, Pool chairs and umbrellas, Deck area with sunset view, Trampolines, and hammocks.
There is not cooking allowed by or at any of the common areas, due to flies and critters. Cooking and eating is only allowed by your sites and not in any common areas: Hammocks, Trampolines, Pool Area, tables, sink, and deck please follow this rule because we want to prevent our shared areas to be fly and bug infested. We are still working on ridding the flies and cleaning. (please try to bring prepackaged food or something easy. If anything you can drive 10 minutes to nearby food and grocery). In the past we let people cook and eat around the pool but now our whole property is fly infested and I find scattered leftovers on the ground. Thanks for understanding.
THERE IS A 1-2 MINUTE HIKE TO THE CAMPSITES 1-5!

AWD /4x4 IS REALLY recommended and is required in wet rainy season due to steep road base entry or we can shuttle you in.. Kayaks and ample eggs provided when the chickens are laying . Heat and a/c in cabins make it cozy. Explore BLM and Reclamation land along the shores of New Melones reservoir near Angels Camp. Horses, goats, sheep , and chickens await you on every fence line you come to. Kayak on the waters below as you camp on our fully vineyard-fenced 20 acre private acreage. Our land is surrounded by 100’s of acres of lake front - public Federal lands surrounded by our private acreage and great neighbors you’ll never see. Portable rented toilets on site at parking areas. Propane available on site. Gas fire pits available at request .

22 acres of camp sites and another 40 acres nextdoor to a hang gliders and paragliders landing. We have restrooms with showers attached to a geodesic dome on property. BBQ , water at sites. A seasonal 2 acre pond. We are about 25mi from sequoia and Kings Canyon right off the Highway 180 and a close drive from restaurants, stores. Beautiful views. We strive to make sure you have an amazing experience in the outdoors. We are still working on making the campground 100% so sorry in advance but what we are lacking we will make up for it with making your experience memorable hope to meet everyone soon

Weekend Trip to Wonderland RV And Camping
We had a wonderful stay here! The check-in process was very smooth, and someone personally showed us to the RV. The RV felt very new, spacious, and extremely clean.
It was a very hot day when we arrived, but the air conditioning had already been turned on for us, so the RV was cool and comfortable as soon as we stepped inside. We really appreciated that thoughtful touch.
The sofas were comfortable, and the RV had everything we needed, including a refrigerator and other useful amenities. Although it is listed as accommodating up to eight people, I think it may feel a little crowded with five or six guests. For the two of us, however, it felt incredibly spacious.
Overall, this was a great place to stay. We had a very comfortable experience and would definitely recommend it to friends!

We stayed at the Treehouse Camp and it was lovely! Clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had enough supplies so we didn't have to bring anything extra. Jeremy was a great host, super nice and responsive. Amazing location right on the lake, just beautiful!

What an incredible spot! We had the absolute best time. The cabin is just phenomenal. Super comfortable bed with the coziest of sheets and blankets, private window overlooking the redwoods directly from the bed, cute patio with seating arrangements outside. I walked the grounds with my older doggo so many times and felt an overwhelming sense of serenity throughout the beautiful grounds. What really made the trip so special was adding fresh flowers in the restroom. I know it may not sound like much, but man. The fragrance of those flowers... was sooooooooo incredible. I may have found myself spending a little too much time there... hahaha. Thank you Nathan for a wonderful stay! Can't wait to go back again.

1 night at Baby Banana Slug Farm
Exquisite camp setup and commons kitchen. For a campground, they really made a cool design with a mixture of style and utility. Check out photos of the shower and kitchen to know what to expect. The cabin itself was clean, and smelled crisp with a subtle wood smell. Sometimes cabins get musty or dusty, but it was really refreshing to arrive to a CLEAN and fresh smelling cabin that didn’t overwhelm the senses. very good lighting, and excellent use of the minimal space. Not far from mendo and fort bragg. plenty of amazing hikes around the area.

Weekend Trip to Estero San Antonio Wonderland
We had an amazing stay at this glamping trailer and would absolutely come back again. The trailer was cozy, comfortable, and much better equipped than we expected. Guido was incredibly accommodating and available to answer any questions we had about the property.
One of the highlights was the farm shop, which offered fresh farm-raised meats, eggs, firewood, and other locally made items. There were also beautiful flowers, balms, and other products that weren't currently in stock but were great to see available for purchase at other times.
The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and full of friendly animals that made the experience even more special. Despite thinking we had packed everything we would need, we accidentally left behind a pan and eating utensils. Thankfully, the trailer was stocked with just about everything imaginable, including pots and pans, silverware, seasonings, a toaster, and a coffee maker.
The nights got a little chilly, but the heater kept the trailer comfortable, and the fan was perfect during the warmer parts of the day. The true star of the trip, however, was the wood-burning sauna. It made for a unique and memorable glamping experience that we haven't found anywhere else.
If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful scenery, thoughtful amenities, and a unique farm stay experience, this is an excellent choice. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Super View cabin and it was great! Super unique experience in a one-of-a-kind setting. Our teenage daughters loved being surrounded by all of the animals. It would be easy to spend all day on property but you've also got Murphys a short distance away so there is lots to do.

The Sunshine cabin was fantastic! Nathan came and introduced himself and gave us an overview of the property with some of the highlights. The directions were easy and we found the cabin even though we arrived a little later in the day. The cabin was well suited for our stay and gave us a privacy and quietness we were hoping for after a long travel day.

We really enjoyed staying at our site, not too far from bathrooms and fairly secluded. Room was very neat and set up great. Provided heated blanket was a life saver and perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the whole camp. Restrooms very clean and private.( they were a little tight ) showers had hot water clean floors. Our spot was a little hard to find without help but we managed after a second loop. Overall great time, would like to revisit and stay a few days.

Weekend Trip to San Diego Canyon Creek
I had the most beautiful experience here. Perfect cozy spot and feels like you’re in a fairy portal. Grateful for Laura and all the greatness this space has to offer. From the space as a whole, to the outdoor kitchen & nice bathroom and shower. Felt cozy and safe here with the frogs singing us to sleep. Truly is a gem!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sunshine Cabin! The property is a dream—five acres of space surrounded by stunning, massive redwood trees that make the cabin feel incredibly private and peaceful. The cabin itself is so cozy, and the communal kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed. Nathan was a super nice and welcoming host, making us feel right at home from the start. A perfect getaway if you're looking to unplug and immerse yourself in nature. We can't wait to come back!

Booking and staying here was an awesome experience from start to finish. Communication was fast and clear, and the cabin/renovated barn was immaculately clean and welcoming, a true retreat in every sense of the word.
There’s something special about this property that’s hard to put into words. You can feel it’s sacred ground, and the atmosphere reflects the care and intention Nate and his family have poured into creating this space.
We’re already planning our next trip up from San Diego, and trust us, it’s well worth the drive!
