This a great spot close to the park entrance! Spencer is an excellent host - welcoming + friendly. There's bathrooms, showers + an ice machine (which was heaven in the heat!). I ended up extending my stay.
So beautiful! We arrived at night and the site was easy to find. We drove through beautiful string lights! The host was so kind and welcoming! We had a great stay!

Prior to arrival we were switched/upgraded for a maintenance reason. It's nice that our original place was checked and the problem found before we got there! We arrived in the afternoon after visiting Forestiere and Cat Haven. Our yurt (#2) was clean and comfortable, facing a field and a big pond in the distance. It was hot (note: mid-July near Fresno) but I opened the skylight, the door, and window flaps were open so wind flowed through the screens. We saw lots of quail, some bunnies, and a frog in the field. Around 8p we were told that there would be a movie shown outside near the office @ 9p which was a fun surprise. We went to the big inflatable outdoor screen to watch Project Hail Mary which I hadn't seen or read before. We were also offered fresh popcorn and the weather was perfect to sit out with my adult daughter, a couple of other people, and Snowflake one of the camp dogs to watch. I took a quick shower near the end, which was great after such a long, hot day, and my daughter caught me up on the movie. There were a couple of tent sites directly behind our yurt so we heard their convos but going to watch the movie, gave us/them some privacy and we fell asleep as soon as we got back. The vibe there was a community/cooperative campground with the freedom to do what we needed to be self-sufficient, but also to interact with others as well. Be prepared if there's hot weather, but things worked out really great- thank you!

We booked for July 4th weekend and we enjoyed it. You can tell the host cares about his business and campers. He had movie nights going and was attentive to our dog when she needed it.
Definitely recommend Spencer’s campground.

Spencer was a wonderful host! He kindly guided us to our yurt despite our late night check-in. The yurt was so cozy, and we very much enjoyed returning in the evenings to rest after long days of hiking the national parks nearby.

Expansive property with multiple big sites, pretty location and stars were great. Spencer is very nice and accommodating, a very lovely human. He was very actively trying to keep the property clean and was always working to improve the space. Only complaint was the bathrooms could have been cleaner, but since it was a crowded weekend, I don't think he could keep up with the mess some people were making. I'd definitely stay again, great location near the parks.

This campsite location is a close drive to kings canyon and not only that but we enjoyed, heated showers and clean bathrooms with great lighting and creative aesthetics. The campsites are easy to get to. Spencer was super helpful and he set up a projector for movies which was very cool. I would definitely recommend watching to stat here.
Spencer is incredibly accommodating, helpful, and attentive to our needs. Stayed there two nights. As stated in the description, he's working on several projects to improve the campground. Nice bathrooms and hot showers!

The no fire is grayed out which typically means doesn’t apply. When asked, they said no fires. Asked for refund and never got a reply and was charged even though communicated decided to go elsewhere. Very disappointed in lack of communication and the confusion of their listing. The no fire should be in black like everything else listed.
Really beautiful property!! The host was very responsive and helpful, made us feel right at home. The amenities were great, really nothing to complain about at all! Thank you again Spencer!
Great spot for a group camping trip, Spencer and his dogs were really friendly. Also the surprise outdoor movie was a nice touch.
I loved this campground and honestly wish I’d had more time to stay longer. On Sunday night I realized I wasn’t enjoying the campground I had booked in Sequoia, so I found this place last minute instead. I booked around 6pm and arrived by 7pm, and everything worked out smoothly.
Spencer was great and sent me a welcome message right away. He met me when I arrived and gave me a quick rundown of the property. It’s dispersed camping, which I really love because you get to choose your spot.
The vibe was relaxed and My one night stay was quiet and peaceful with a lovely sunset behind the mountains.
If the campgrounds inside Sequoia are full, I’d recommend considering this spot. It was only about a 35-minute drive from the entrance of Kings Canyon visitor center.
Spenser’s Campground es beautiful! And he is very friendly… we love the way the he care for his land… we really enjoy our 2 days visit.

Dunlap Canyon is an incredibly scenic, peaceful place! The yurt is cozy and comfortable, and the surrounding mountains are just beautiful, especially at sunset. There are some trails to walk on the property, and plenty to do! The hosts were super sweet and helpful, and I'd definitely recommend staying here.
The camp was great. My yurk was clean with a bed that was more comfortable than most hotels I stay at. Plenty of room to park and hang out in my camp site. Fun watching the hang gliders and paragliders do their thing with a great view of the mountains right from my camp site. Bathrooms and showers. I’ll definitely be back!

A really amazing place. Sun until very late in the evening, clean and warm showers, three very cute dogs (our daughter ADORED the smallest one, Fiona). We had a great time. The owners are really friendly and work very hard (thats why the camp ground looks so amazing).

Our stay in one of Spencer’s yurts was great, and exactly what we wanted for a quick weekend trip. It’s beautifully located and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was super comfortable and I’d love to stay again next time I’m in the area.

The land is nestled in the valley just below highway 180, where it would be a wonderful place to paraglide. Spencer is very accommodating and kind . The yurt was well kept and clean. My dog and I slept soundly and woke up at dawn with the roosters, which is expected in picturesque country living.
Spenser was a good host, showed us our campsite and even offer us to stay in one of his nice dome tent because there was some available, I would recommend him to book your campsite with this guy his very accommodating

A fun and unique experience off the beaten path. Spencer is a high energy super host. A variety of camping spots from tents to RVs to yurts. We we thete Saturday night and he did movie night.
