Overall it was a great experience. The host met me right as I pulled up and showed me the way. The stars were incredible, and I woke up to bird songs and rabbits hopping past my tent. I would go back! The big drawback is that there was a pretty severe accumulation of litter and garbage at the site.

We were very disappointed with this property. It was not well kept and looked like a “junk yard”. We actually thought we were at the wrong address and turned around coz we were in disbelief. Then we realized we were at the right place. When the owner showed us where we were staying we were not happy to see that a large party of 7 young men were on the other side of the bush with an amplifier that blared music from 8 to 11 pm and then they continued to party till 1 am.
The owner was understanding and did not charge us for the second night and was extremely apologetic.
Everything on the property was run down: the garbage can was over flowing, the furniture around the camp site was old and mismatched, the picnic table was old too etc.
We really did not feel safe and then realized why he only had a few reviews despite being on hipcamp for a few years.
Definitely would not recommend this hipcamp and definitely would not return.

There is a nice view from the top of the hill
Robin was a very kind host. Great for tent camping nice clear piece of private property to enjoy nature and peace and quiet
