Located in the old town of Lemieux, ONTARIO which is know in our local history for having been washed away by mudslides which left away a breathtaking landscape of wooded ravines in trails under the canapĂŠ of hardwood trees. We have a 130 acre property and are located beside crown lands that have incredible trails. You can also fish from the comfort of your campsite!

Sooooo  Come relax and recharge on our secluded land located only 40 minutes from Ottawa and 1h20 from Montreal, 45 minutes from Cornwall  Nestled in the untouched natural beauty of our wooded 130 acre homestead; we have carved out beautiful camp sites for fellow nature enthusiasts, listen up fellow camps, your NOT camping behind a house or IN an open an open field being torched by the sun, this place is packed with lots of shade this is pure camping like it should be, watch them birds beaver and maybe youll see 3 otters swimming by and if your Lucky you may see 2 eagles fly by, so brimg them binoculars for a personal upfront view We hope you enjoy the calming sounds of the running water nearby, the lengthy trails surrounding us and the privacy that our land has to offer you. Most of our sites are drive and park drirectly to your camp site unload your gear right at the river a few feet from the river how cool is that! We also have some Medium adventure expedition style sites where you can hike to your camp site ranging From 10 minutes to 25 minutes walking distance lets us know how far you are willing to go and we will book you the appropriate site, Or you can use your mountain bike to get there plus we have a couple of extra sites that requires A canoe ride to get to your off the grid camp site! Sooooo Eagle Nest #4 🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️ Is our best seller! it has “THE” best view of this main campsite if shes available this is “THE ONE” you see far out and will observe all kinds of wild life, your surrounded with trees and vegetation like if your in a nest, with a jungle feel with grape vines hanging from the tree tops like if Tarzan was living here, this pie shape site is located in the crotch of two rivers that meets each other at the end of a point, so your camping nest as not ONE, but 2 rivers flowing right in front of you! Wow! How cool is thats, that by its self is pretty rare, its very spacious and theres is no trafic from other campers as this site is a dead end, very private no walking involved, drive right up with your car and your at the edge of the river, unpack and set up your gear 🤘😎 Sooo lets do it!! If you love the sound of water flowing this is it! Sooooo DESCRIPTION: Ok so this site is located at the edge of the river as you can see from the map, this one has two sites that you will be using, like a living room and sleeping room one at the edge of the river and one behind under a canopy of trees. *Please note* if using instant booking, you need to text me or let us know when your leaving from your town so i know your on your way, follwed with an approximate time of arrival so im not waiting, as I don’t live on site, ill be greeting you at our little cozy camps entrance to better serve you This site #2 havent fund a name yet, but if ever you book this site #2 and have an idea for a name, and if i use it ill give you a free weekend!! ill send you a notification by an email to let you know ive ive chosen your idea, this site#2 Is carved right at the edge of the river, lots of tree coverage, some of them trees grew in a dome style kinda shape, like a green house, back story, back in 1998 when Canada got hit with one of the biggest Ice storm ever, them new growth got heavily bent by the ice made them new growth top heavy from all that ice build up and permanently grew like this into a mature forest shaped like a greenhouse , foward 30 years later, many of these tress grew all there lives in a curvered shape which looks pretty awesome and unique with a jungle feel with many grape vines hanging from the top of them trees as if Tarzan was living here, thats the most accurate description for this site and most of my main site, the little down side is this site isnt as far out like most of my other sites, this one is our second closest to our newly renovated bridge but site#2 is heavely covered with vegetation and spacious, plus you drive your vehicle right by your site, no traveling with your gear, very Accessible if you’re in a wheelchair, you have a clean clear litlle trail leading in your camping nest, the cool thing about Site# 2 as an option of a sister site# 1 right next to it, there you can expend your group of guest friends pets and enjoy all together some fine, fun times and memories of your camping experience and by camping side by side with out missing a moment with all of your groupe of guest (friends) or Family! ⛺️🔥🌲 Most sites are dispersed over a 130 acres of untouched forest and rivers campers, booking earlier, also please let us know approximately what time you’ll be arriving on the day of your check in. *Please note** if using instant booking, you need to text me or let us know when your leaving from your town so i know your on your way, follwed with an approximate time of arrival so im not waiting, as I don’t live on site, ill be greeting you at our little cozy camps entrance to better serve you This site# 1 havent fund a name yet, but if ever you book this site #2 or site #1 and have an idea for a name, and if i use it ill give you a free weekend!! ill send you a notification by email to let you know that ive chosen your idea, this site#1 and site#2 Is carved right at the edge of the river, lots of tree coverage, some of them trees grew in a dome style kinda shape, like a green house, back story, back in 1998 when Canada got hit with one of the biggest Ice storm ever, them new growth got heavily bent by the ice, made them new growth top heavy from all that ice build up and permanently grew like this into a mature forest shaped like a greenhouse , foward 30 years later, many of these tress grew all there lives in a curvered shape which looks pretty awesome and unique with a jungle feel with many grape vines hanging from them tree tops as if Tarzan was living here, thats the most accurate description for this site and most of my main site, the little down side to this site, it isnt as far out like most of my other sites, this one is our second closest to our newly renovated bridge but site#1 & site#2 is heavely covered with vegetation and spacious, plus you drive your vehicle very close to your site, roughly 50feet or so from your parking, very Accessible if you’re in a wheelchair, you have a clean clear 4 feet little trail leading in to your camping nest, the cool thing about Site# 1 you have an option of a brother site#2 right next to it, there you can expend your group of guest friends pets and enjoy all together some fine and fun times with memories of your camping experience and by camping side by side your not missing out on a moment with all of your groupe of guest (friends) or Family! ⛺️🔥🌲 Most sites are dispersed over a 130 acres of untouched forest and rivers campers, booking earlier, also please let us know approximately what time you’ll be arriving on the day of your check in. Allright! Sooooo  Come relax and recharge on our secluded land located only 40 minutes from Ottawa and 1h20 from Montreal, 45 minutes from Cornwall  Nestled in the untouched natural beauty of our wooded 130 acre homestead; we have carved out beautiful camp sites for fellow nature enthusiasts, listen up fellow camps, your NOT camping behind a house or IN an open an open field being torched by the sun, this place is packed with lots of shade this is pure camping like it should be, watch them birds beaver and maybe youll see 3 otters swimming by and if your Lucky you may see 2 eagles fly by, so brimg them binoculars for a personal upfront view We hope you enjoy the calming sounds of the running water nearby, the lengthy trails surrounding us and the privacy that our land has to offer you. Most of our sites are drive and park drirectly to your camp site unload your gear right at the river a few feet from the river how cool is that! We also have some Medium adventure expedition style sites where you can hike to your camp site ranging From 10 minutes to 25 minutes walking distance lets us know how far you are willing to go and we will book you the appropriate site, Or you can use your mountain bike to get there plus we have a couple of extra sites that requires A canoe ride to get to your off the grid camp site! The host is helpful friendly, he helped me get a fire started when it was raining. The camp sites are nice and secluded. The stream is really clean and shallow, the river is full of all sorts of fish, a couple muskrats/otters, and a few frogs, there are always giant blue herons, bald eagles and vultures in the sky. I’ve caught a 3ft pike, and a few walleye.

5/5 stars! We had a fantastic camping experience here! Gerry, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The campsite had a beautiful view overlooking the river, and we enjoyed spending time by the water's edge. Gerry also provided us with plenty of firewood, which was a nice touch. We were a group of three friends, and we had a great time sitting around the campfire and enjoying each other's company. We would definitely recommend this campsite to others. Thanks Gerry, for a great stay!

We were looking for a place to camp in Quebec, early November, but all provincial parks were closed. The few that offered winter camping are closed until snow falls… We came across HipCamp by word of mouth and it was great. Gerry’s a very friendly host and lots of fire wood is available, fair price and quick delivery.

I really enjoyed this location, as I camped right by the water. Although it was a bit muddy, I still found it easy to kayak along the river. I saw a lot of beavers playing and noticed plenty of otter tracks. The sunset was beautiful, and there were two picnic tables along with plenty of space. I couldn't back my car all the way in, and there was some noise pollution from passing cars. However, other than that, it was a really nice trip, and Gerry was very friendly.

We enjoyed ourselves. This was a last minute booking and we had never been there. When we showed up, Gerry was quick to find a solution for us as the campsite we had booked was not accessible for our minivan in which we sleep: he offered a spot for our minivan. He then proceeded to make two fires for us and provided wood. We did not see other people and apparently, 12 other people were at the campground. So, we felt like we were all alone.

We had an absolute blast camping at this location 🤍 The site was neat, beautiful overlooking two rivers. It was big enough for our 8 person tent as well as two picnic tables and we still had so much free space. You could walk down to the river straight from your campsite to your own little private dock or to the rocks where you will see a bunch of wildlife (we saw 3 otters there!). Talking about wildlife! Make sure to bring binoculars! We saw beavers, otters, eagles, frogs, herons hunting and so much more! We literally sat in our chairs and observed the animals all day! There is also a little path down the road that leads to a rock that’s situated right on the water! We had two dogs with us which were off leash the whole time (another plus) and they were able to go in the water there to cool off and just play. There’s also a picnic table and another fire pit there! Highly highly recommend for you guys to purchase tiki lamps from Gerry! They saved us from mosquitos and for once in my life I came back with not one bite! Speaking about Gerry, wow what an incredible and generous human being. He made us laugh SOOO much and he was so helpful, laid back, super chill and enthusiastic. You could tell how passionate he is about his business. He greats you in the beginning and right a way offers to help you with whatever you need. He gave us so much wood (we got all you can burn wood extra) and we had fire going all day! I promise you won’t be disappointed. We loved it so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Nice campsites. Fair warning, because of the rain, some areas are a bit waterlogged, and mosquitoes are abundant, at the end of August. Gerry (the host) was great, took good care of us and checked up regularly on us to make sure everything was good. He also made sure we settled in well on the first day, and guided us to various paths and nice spots on his property. It's "rustic", no drinking water on site, no power, and an outhouse, but that's good for camping! Also, pretty easy to reach, about 1h20 min from Montreal, about 40-50 min from Ottawa. Very dog friendly, and you can go offleash. Finally, definitely buy the wood from Gerry, you get more than enough for a day (about 20-25 logs) with the basic day option, it's all hardwood, and very dry, so less smoke and a lot of heat output. I will definitely be returning to the property and might try a site on a different part of the property next time.

Awesome plot and amazing host! Gerry was super friendly and welcoming and took the time to make sure we were ok and showed us around. We asked if there were walking trails and he personally escorted us and showed us around. He’s very energetic and talkative too. As avid campers we were worried that the plot would lack privacy but this was not the case. Each plot is totally separate and covered in beautiful trees and vegetation. Would definitely come back, 10/10 experience.

Extremely disappointing and misleading. We're very unsure how Gerry has been getting away with these incredibly misleading photos and descriptions. It's concerning how Hicamps has awarded him with multiple host awards This property is under a very busy loud underpass and between 2 unswimmable brown rivers. You're lucky if you're on the side with the louder river that will drain out the sounds of cars speeding by above. He's clearly quite tactful in his curation of his ads. He said verbatim "I'm not sure why anyone would want to camp here". We witnessed someone leaving angry shortly after arrival. He inappropriately complained about guests being disappointed and requesting refunds. There was a giant pile of trash on our site, unfinished long abandoned projects, the 1 and only shared toilet is open-air and plainly visible from the only pedestrian+ car path, towels hanging off of trees from previous guests. The place is in total disarray and he will blame it all on weather. I'm wondering if most of the people camping here are from the city and are very unexperienced with being outside. We weren't expecting much from the price but to be totally manipulated and deceived and it to blatantly be confirmed by Gerry, that is unacceptable. This guy knows what he is doing and you wont be refunded.

The space we booked was covered in mud. Not just a a little spot but the whole space. We couldn’t put our tent there. This should have been communicated upon us booking as we did it just a few days before. We feel it was dishonest.

This camp site was phenomenal - very private and right on the water. Gerry supplied everything that we needed and more and was helpful and available if we needed. The property was fun to explore and the fishing was fantastic! We had a bite practically every cast. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Incredible! I only stopped for a night, but wish I stayed longer. An incredible range of different camp spots all around a beautiful ticket away portion of river. A lot of effort has gone into making each spot unique and cosy. Gerry was an incredible host, and was unbelievably hospitable and welcoming. I'll absolutely be back for a longer stay

I enjoyed camping on Gerrys land. I was there for 2 weeks and Gerry went above all my expectations to make sure my stay went well! I highly recommend staying here and I'll be back 1000%.
