Located in the old town of Lemieux, ONTARIO which is know in our local history for having been washed away by mudslides which left away a breathtaking landscape of wooded ravines in trails under the canapé of hardwood trees. We have a 130 acre property and are located beside crown lands that have incredible trails. You can also fish from the comfort of your campsite!

Sooooo Come relax and recharge on our secluded land located only 40 minutes from Ottawa and 1h20 from Montreal, 45 minutes from Cornwall Nestled in the untouched natural beauty of our wooded 130 acre homestead; we have carved out beautiful camp sites for fellow nature enthusiasts, listen up fellow camps, your NOT camping behind a house or IN an open an open field being torched by the sun, this place is packed with lots of shade this is pure camping like it should be, watch them birds beaver and maybe youll see 3 otters swimming by and if your Lucky you may see 2 eagles fly by, so brimg them binoculars for a personal upfront view We hope you enjoy the calming sounds of the running water nearby, the lengthy trails surrounding us and the privacy that our land has to offer you. Most of our sites are drive and park drirectly to your camp site unload your gear right at the river a few feet from the river how cool is that! We also have some Medium adventure expedition style sites where you can hike to your camp site ranging From 10 minutes to 25 minutes walking distance lets us know how far you are willing to go and we will book you the appropriate site, Or you can use your mountain bike to get there plus we have a couple of extra sites that requires A canoe ride to get to your off the grid camp site! You can bring your own canoe or kayak or rent one , Approximate time 10-15 minutes of rowing under an umbrella of trees growing over the river 👌 We also have a couple of sites for RTTs rooftop tent 4x4 required only roughly 1 km in 4 x 4 mode, the longest Travel to one of our site and two others at 3000 feet We invite you to bring your water sport equipment, ATVs if you want and a sense of adventure! Keep in mind, that we also have an inventory of equipment that can be rented out such as: a canoe, tandem bicycle tent rental. Sooooo Eagle Nest #4 🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️🎖️ Is our best seller! it has “THE” best view of this main campsite if shes available this is “THE ONE” you see far out and will observe all kinds of wild life, your surrounded with trees and vegetation like if your in a nest, with a jungle feel with grape vines hanging from the tree tops like if Tarzan was living here, this pie shape site is located in the crotch of two rivers that meets each other at the end of a point, so your camping nest as not ONE, but 2 rivers flowing right in front of you! Wow! How cool is thats, that by its self is pretty rare, its very spacious and theres is no trafic from other campers as this site is a dead end, very private no walking involved, drive right up with your car and your at the edge of the river, unpack and set up your gear 🤘😎 Sooo lets do it!! So DESCRIPTION: This LoVeRs NeSt, is one of our smallest most nestled like Cocoon Enveloped with trees and vegetation all around you and above you skimming your head carved out like a cave you wouldn’t know theres a site hidden there, this site is the one closest to the edge of the river! If you love the sound of water flowing this is it! *Please note** if using instant booking, you need to text me or let us know when your leaving from your town so i know your on your way, follwed with an approximate time of arrival so im not waiting, as I don’t live on site, ill be greeting you at our little cozy camps entrance to better serve you This site# 1 havent fund a name yet, but if ever you book this site #2 or site #1 and have an idea for a name, and if i use it ill give you a free weekend!! ill send you a notification by email to let you know that ive chosen your idea, this site#1 and site#2 Is carved right at the edge of the river, lots of tree coverage, some of them trees grew in a dome style kinda shape, like a green house, back story, back in 1998 when Canada got hit with one of the biggest Ice storm ever, them new growth got heavily bent by the ice, made them new growth top heavy from all that ice build up and permanently grew like this into a mature forest shaped like a greenhouse , foward 30 years later, many of these tress grew all there lives in a curvered shape which looks pretty awesome and unique with a jungle feel with many grape vines hanging from them tree tops as if Tarzan was living here, thats the most accurate description for this site and most of my main site, the little down side to this site, it isnt as far out like most of my other sites, this one is our second closest to our newly renovated bridge but site#1 & site#2 is heavely covered with vegetation and spacious, plus you drive your vehicle very close to your site, roughly 50feet or so from your parking, very Accessible if you’re in a wheelchair, you have a clean clear 4 feet little trail leading in to your camping nest, the cool thing about Site# 1 you have an option of a brother site#2 right next to it, there you can expend your group of guest friends pets and enjoy all together some fine and fun times with memories of your camping experience and by camping side by side your not missing out on a moment with all of your groupe of guest (friends) or Family! ⛺️🔥🌲 Most sites are dispersed over a 130 acres of untouched forest and rivers campers, booking earlier, also please let us know approximately what time you’ll be arriving on the day of your check in. This is our newly carved out site by one of our rivers, called Moose Creek this river has cute little micro rapids and mini falls, with a flat Rock slate base, there you can walk on the edge or sit on the sides and Sun Tan and relax or read a book, And if you like falling a sleep with the acoustic sound of water flowing by your tent, well, this is it! *Please note* if using instant booking, you need to text me or let us know when your leaving from your town so i know your on your way, follwed with an approximate time of arrival so im not waiting, as I don’t live on site, ill be greeting you at our little cozy camps entrance to better serve you This site #2 havent fund a name yet, but if ever you book this site #2 and have an idea for a name, and if i use it ill give you a free weekend!! ill send you a notification by an email to let you know ive ive chosen your idea, this site#2 Is carved right at the edge of the river, lots of tree coverage, some of them trees grew in a dome style kinda shape, like a green house, back story, back in 1998 when Canada got hit with one of the biggest Ice storm ever, them new growth got heavily bent by the ice made them new growth top heavy from all that ice build up and permanently grew like this into a mature forest shaped like a greenhouse , foward 30 years later, many of these tress grew all there lives in a curvered shape which looks pretty awesome and unique with a jungle feel with many grape vines hanging from the top of them trees as if Tarzan was living here, thats the most accurate description for this site and most of my main site, the little down side is this site isnt as far out like most of my other sites, this one is our second closest to our newly renovated bridge but site#2 is heavely covered with vegetation and spacious, plus you drive your vehicle right by your site, no traveling with your gear, very Accessible if you’re in a wheelchair, you have a clean clear litlle trail leading in your camping nest, the cool thing about Site# 2 as an option of a sister site# 1 right next to it, there you can expend your group of guest friends pets and enjoy all together some fine, fun times and memories of your camping experience and by camping side by side with out missing a moment with all of your groupe of guest (friends) or Family! ⛺️🔥🌲 Most sites are dispersed over a 130 acres of untouched forest and rivers campers, booking earlier, also please let us know approximately what time you’ll be arriving on the day of your check in. I camped here for the 6th time to do some fishing, I caught a baby Muskie, and some catfish. If you want to fish here make sure to use steel or heavy fluorocarbon leaders and have extra long pliers. Gerry was helpful and kind as per usual, access to the river was easy. I also saw a beaver, otters, muskrats, turtles, herons, and frogs.

We had a great time camping at La Nation! We stayed at one of the sites where you had to canoe in and it was a really calm and pretty private spot. Getting in and out of the canoe was a bit rocky because the creek bed was so low due to lack of rain this year, and navigating the creek was a bit of an adventure due to the trees (which are normally submerged when the water level is higher) sticking up in our way, but once we got everything loaded/unloaded we really enjoyed our time. Gerry was very courteous and brought us a bunch of wood, tiki torches, and even a picnic table to the site as there wasn't previously. There was also a brand-new thunderbox near our site which was a nice added touch. After our stay, Gerry showed us around the other sites on the property and we definitely will be back for those in the future. Overall great stay.

Great campsite, great adventure! The Trail Blazer and River side camp is worth the adventure if you stay for more than 1 night. We hiked a bit further past the trail on a big rock by the water - It was great! Very peaceful & secluded. The owner Gerry is nothing short of incredible, quite the character and extremely kind! Bring bug spray and be prepared to carry your stuff through the trail to get to the campsite. Thanks for hosting us Gerry, YeeeeHaw!!!

Gerry is a great host. And his land is a gem super close to Ottawa but with the feeling of being in wilderness. I’ve been camping there for 3 years now and every time, I have such a great time and my friends who joined me were so happy to be there. The fishing is so fun there, I’ve never got disappointed with fishing there, I’ve got Walleye, sea bream bass, pike, stone head, carp and catfish there. If you like fishing, this place can be fun to explore.

I couldn’t reach my reserved spot by car, but Gerry (the owner) quickly helped me find an alternative site. The campground is very basic — no drinkable water or flush toilets — which made it a great way to connect with nature. The sites are well spaced out, offering plenty of privacy, and each one includes a fire pit and picnic table. Gerry checked in a few times to make sure everyone was doing well, provided firewood at a great price, and even offered help starting the fire. A simple, peaceful, and genuine camping experience.

Beautiful place, we were a group of 4 adults with 4 kids and everyone loved it. It was exactly as described, water front, picnic tables, fire pits with lots of wood, LED lighting strings at night, torches for most, all the other campers were very friendly and respectful (day and night). I had lots of gear with a big tent and an inflatable dingy. Our sites were easily accessible with a pickup truck or big SUV for loading/ unloading and parked them 20ft away from our sites. I saw 3 or 4 sites where you wouldn’t be able to drive a vehicle right to the site but they were too small for our group. Coming here allowed my family and I to create unforgettable memories, it was exactly what we were looking for, quiet, peaceful, beautiful scenery, no cell reception and well maintained. I can’t say enough good things about Gerry, he’s an amazing person. So kind, friendly and resourceful. Talking with him felt like I’ve known him for a decade. He’s there for his campers and he’s very dedicated in making sure everyone is comfortable and have what they need. Me and some friends are already planning a boys trip back here with our ATVs and bikes, there is lots of trails around the Gerry’s land. Thank you Gerry for giving us the opportunity to create unforgettable moments on your land.

I went to La Nation Rock camping to celebrate my 24th birthday with friends, and it turned out even better that I expected!! 🥹🧚🏻‍♀️ Gerry is an amazing host- right from the moment we arrived he was very attentive and even surprised me with a birthday cake 🎂🫶🏼 The place is spacious, private, far from neighbours, and just a walk to the lake. It feels like true wilderness camping, so there’s no bathroom or shower, but that really wasn’t an issue. No strange animal around either! I highly recommended it if you want to spend a great weekend with friends! 🧚🏻‍♀️🐠🐝💚🥂

We had another amazing stay here. This campground is perfection for us. Quiet, beautiful, and low-key. We came with our 2.5 y.o. daughter and she loved playing in the shallow waters and going in the canoe! Gerry was once again incredibly welcoming and accomodating. Such an amazing host! The grocery store in the local town (~10 min drive) is well-stocked with all essentials, should you need them, and there's an awesome playground with a kick-ass splash pad a few streets over as well. Some berry farms in the area also, should you need to get away at some point. 10/10 recommend, and we hope to return again this season.

My experience camping at this location was wonderful. Gerry was an excellent host, and made sure that everything was perfect. He gave me options for which site I wanted of the ones that were available and checked to make sure everything was going well. The site was lovely, with a top portion for my tent and a lower rock bed directly in the river to sit and enjoy the fire and the sound of rushing water. My dog loved the experience and it was very peaceful. Although the site was close to the bridge/road, it was not a busy roadway and there was very little noise. I would go back to camp there in a heartbeat.

We loved camping on Gerry's land. Very nicely kept, private spots, fabulous views, wading in the mini rapids, swimming abd all the wildlife. We spent 5 days and would love to go back for longer. Gerry is wonderful and checked in often. Bring your bug spray for sure, but an amazing time either way!

Little Savage Camping is exactly what it sounds like — a little wild, a little rough around the edges, but absolutely unforgettable. The sites are built right into the bedrock and some are tucked right down by the river, with private docks you can launch a canoe or paddleboard from. The river views are stunning, especially at sunset. At night, the whole place feels like a forest festival with fairy lights strung through the trees and campfires going strong. For 27 bucks, they deliver as much firewood as you want right to your site — worth it. We burned all night and never ran out. It’s not luxury camping — the outhouse is basic and you might be within earshot of someone’s drinking game while you’re in there, but honestly? That’s part of the charm. It feels real. There’s something hilarious and freeing about it. The owner clearly put thought and personality into the place — there are little weird details everywhere, like owl statues and oddball decorations in the trees. It’s got soul, not polish. If you’re into raw nature with character, and you don’t mind getting a little dirty, this place is a gem. Can’t wait to come back
