We had an awesome stay. Kirk is so kind and generous of his time. My kids had a blast, he even built a water slide upon request for them to enjoy.
Always felt safe and well taken care of, no matter the request.
We'll be back!

Had a wonderful camping experience! The campsite was clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. The surroundings were beautiful, and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. and Host is so accommodating! Would definitely come back again! 🏕️🌲✨

We loved tent camping here, Kirk was fantastic, it was easy to navigate everything on the property and the swimming hole was perfect.
What a great experience! The site is well taken care of, the water pond is fantastic and there's plenty of space to enjoy yourself and have your kids run around safely.
Kirk is a wonderful person that went above and beyond to make our stay a delight.
We 100% recommend it and we will definitely be back again.

Super quiet and the camping sites were on solid fairly leveled ground. Kirk was great and the swimming hole was really nice.

Really liked staying here!
The water was great, a lot of things within easy driving access, the toilets were porta-poties, the showers were cold but very refreshing! The were a lot of mosquitoes, so prepare for that!
Kirk was great, really accessible and attentive.
Would stay there again for sure!

Quiet place to relax and enjoy nature. Plenty of space between camp sites.
Camping space very well arranged. The small lake is great, the owner is caring, the place to camp is well maintained. The toilets are accessible from everywhere and clean. I recommend.
We brought our little ALiner Camper, our dining shelter, and small tent.
Kirk is very accommodating: delivering wood directly to our site; maintains very clean backhouse(s); picnic tables are in good shape; grass is well kept; when we needed to leave for work quite early- Kirk made sure the showers were ready; and his layout provides generous space for campers.
We found him to be an amicable host, but also respectful of privacy.
The pond is wonderful, clean and bigger than photos can show.
Overall - highly recommend and 100% will return soon.

Kirk has so much beautiful land and is very accomodating! There are kayaks and a badminton / volleyball net on the property. Kirk also performs a security check, makes himself available, and is overall very kind! Only thing to be aware of are fire ants in the grass!

The campsite is absolutely fantastic! The host sets off fireworks at night~ There are so many fireflies and cute little frogs around the site~ The cows and alpacas are also really friendly, and the host is incredibly welcoming and helpful.

Kirk was super friendly and generous! He put us in a quiet spot on a beautiful wide open field. There is a really nice swimming hole and the night was quiet and peaceful.

Camping très tranquille. Beaucoup d'espace entre les sites. Il y a un petit lac encore en construction. Une fois que ce sera terminé et qu'un ménage aura été fait, ce sera très charmant.
Nous étions seuls un mercredi soir après avoir fait du vélo le long de Waterfront Trail (très joli). Nous avons été très confortables avec le VR et une tente moustiquaire. Le propriétaire est sympathique. Le camping est facile à trouver.

Pretty, wooded and secluded but also conveniently close proximity to services like fuel and food.
Perfect tent sites
Railroad is very close but never heard the train go by.
Deer in camp site areas every this am.
Campsites are clean and tidy
The solar lights at site were a nice touch.
Directions and gps perfect
I would stay here again next pass thru
Great location for me, and good site overall - lots of space, wooded areas, pond to swim in, etc.. Kirk was also a helpful host.

My stay at Avonmore Oasis Camping was excellent!
I originally planned to stay one night but ended up staying two—and would’ve stayed longer if I didn’t have to return to the city. The host, Kirk, was fantastic and always ready to help. The site offered privacy, plenty of space, and each spot had its own firepit, picnic table, and garbage bin. The toilet was nearby and cleaned daily, with water pumps and outdoor showers just a short walk away. The quarry lake was refreshingly cold—perfect for a hot day. It’s a peaceful place I’d return to anytime to relax and enjoy nature.

It was a great experience. Very nice and clean camping site. Kirk was very helpful and responsive.. Would love to go back next time.
It was my family’s first camping, we had a great time there, my family absolutely love itt. The most importantly the host there is such a kind heart who made my family welcoming and provide everything they needed. Thank you again!!

We had a great time at Avonmore oasis. Kirk was extraordinary, he gave us marsmallows instead of buying from the store. He was very helpfull. And the campsite was well maintained. Would recommend this place to my friends.
Kirk is very responsive to the visitors needs. You can clearly see the bigger plans he has for the site, including a real restroom. The current set up is good but the updates will make it better. The issue for hikers is lack of good hiking sites in the area. But it is well suited for a family or group retreat.
Went camping with my family, they absolutely love it!! It was their first camping, they had their best time there. The most importantly, the owner there is very friendly,kind and hard working, making everything so easy and fun for my whole family. Thank you !!!!
I'm so glad me and my family discovered Avonmore Oasis. The outhouses were easily accessible and well kept. There were two trampolines and a sand hill that kept the kids super busy. The water hole had different boats to use. Kirk, the host, was friendly, open and super welcoming. It was a great two nights and we can't wait to go back next summer.

The place is quite, clean, easy access to toilet ( there are many of them), and safe.
Kirk is so gentle and available all the time. Trampoline and a small lake are available to amuse your little ones.
I really recommend it for families.

Excellent weekend on Kirk's property - he helped us find a shaded spot and was just a text away at all times. The spring was a godsend during the heatwave!
