Misleading Listing & Not for 4
Upon our arrival, the host welcomed us politely, but the campsite we received was clearly not ready for guests. There were many half-cut trees and large rocks on the ground, and it was almost impossible to find a flat area to set up our 4-person tent. The site was steep, uncomfortable, and obviously unprepared for camping.
We asked to change campsites, but were told everything was full. The host only cut a few logs, which did not solve the issue. Even with proper camping gear such as an air mattress and sleeping bags, we could still feel the uneven ground, rocks, and tree pieces underneath. Because of the discomfort and back pain, we had to shorten our trip and leave after only one night.
Another major issue was that our reservation clearly mentioned a private waterfall campsite. However, the site we received was more like an unprepared swamp area with dried trees blocking the view. Later, when we tried to visit the waterfall and lake, other guests informed us that the area was private to their campsite.
We then saw the actual private waterfall campsite, and it looked nothing like ours. It was clean, flat, and properly prepared.
The fire pit at our site was also placed on a steep slope where nobody could comfortably sit. In addition, the listing mentioned drinkable water on site, but we had to walk to reception, and there was no water available on the first night.
Overall, it felt like a random unfinished campsite had been added for booking. It was not suitable even for
