The Point...
The main shared area "The Point", is the peninsula that the main roadway ends at (where the BBQ, kayaks and canoes are), this is a shared area for us and our guests to enjoy. The Point offers a large picnic table, a propane BBQ, comfortable seating, a large rock perfect for sunbathing, and a river view. It's an ideal spot for swimming and launching canoes, kayaks, or paddle-board river excursions, thanks to its shallow entry and rocky bottom. Adventurous visitors might choose to paddle upriver, around an island, and return through the remaining historic canal. For a more strenuous workout, consider paddling up the canal to the Grenville lighthouse and then drifting all the way back to camp with the river's current. Enjoy this historic, lazy river experience!

The Domaine de la Templerie is first and foremost a Table champêtre (farm to table). To have a rustic table, a good majority of the products served in the restaurant must come from the farm. This is why you will find on site a farm with wild boars, geese, ducks, guinea fowl, pheasants, capons, turkeys and many other animals! We transform our product at the farm and sell them at the farm too. We also have a soccer field, volleyball court and horseshoe pit.

Our beautiful urban location near highway 410 and Bishop's University, directly on St. Francis river, makes it an exceptional starting point for cyclists who want to enjoy the Route Verte path; fish, canoe, kayak or tube the river or simply explore all Sherbrooke has to offer.
Our birdlife is amazing and is a recognized birding location by provincial authorities, especially for swallows and chimney swifts. A fire pit will be made available, in respect of all fire bans, with firewood available for purchase.
In 1910, Agriculture Canada set up a research centre that operated until the 1950's.
The property was sold to a family that emigrated to Canada from Europe, to set begin a new life post WW2.
In 2015, I purchased the property to return it to its roots - regenerative farming, training, hospitality, poverty relief and healthy living.

Jennie and Jeremy were excellent hosts with a beautiful spot in the heart of hiking country. Absolutely just an incredible site and definitely make sure to look them up if you're in the area and need a place to lay your head. Unfortunately I didn't get to try out any of their amazing extras as it was mainly a business trip. Next time I'm in the area I look forward to having more time at the site and trying out more of their options. Reserve here with confidence!

This place is quiet and feels nicely secluded. The dogs loved it! Just be aware that it can get muddy after rain—the host was kind enough to help us out when we got stuck with our Winnebago before leaving. Overall, it was a great stay!

I came back to Agape Gardens less than a week after my 1st stay. That says it all!
There's something really special about this place. The peace, nature, and quiet atmosphere make it the perfect place to disconnect and recharge.
The outdoor hot tub late at night is an absolute must! Such a relaxing and unforgettable experience under the night sky.
Jennie & Jeremy are amazing hosts, and everything feels welcoming and relaxing. Definitely becoming one of my favourite getaway spots!

10/10! The Solennes were so kind! They were probably the kindest people I have ever met! Their property is gorgeous! The campsite is on a hill between two lakes. We had beavers swim up right next to us. They have canoes for you to use. My brother and I went out on the lake during sunset and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I highly recommend staying here if you have the chance!

Super dog friendly, and the kids had an amazing time playing with the dogs and exploring around the property. Lots of space to relax, enjoy nature, and hang around the campfire. Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Hawk Camp. Le site est magnifique, calme et très reposant. Matthew nous a accueillis chaleureusement et tout était prêt à notre arrivée. Nous avions tout ce qu’il fallait pour passer une excellente fin de semaine en nature. L’endroit est bien entretenu, paisible et parfait pour décrocher complètement. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter.
