At our place, it's public land, so we aim to offer access as simply as possible. We'd love to chat with you around the fire, or give you space to relax, depending on your needs. We live in our eco-friendly straw bale house on the property, and the forest behind can welcome you. We've prepared a flat space for setting up a tent in the heart of the forest with a view of the lake; you'll be very secluded! Access to an outdoor compost toilet is available at all times. Access to the wild lake out back with canoes on-site. Access to the fire pit. Access to numerous hiking trails nearby. If money is an issue, we can work out help in the garden or elsewhere in exchange for your campsite. Looking forward to meeting you!

Incredible hosts! Extremely accommodating, friendly, kind and helpful. The site was exactly what we were looking for. About a 100-200m hike into the camping spot. Be prepared for a little hike in. Very private and secluded between two lakes. First HipCamp experience very positive.

We enjoyed the site. The directions were clear and the path was well marked. It felt more like a canoe camping site than a basecamp. Canoeing around both lakes to observe the beavers habitat and the rare plants was great. Solennes and her husband were friendly hosts.

Beautify secluded spot. The hosts were amazing, so nice and friendly, with an awesome space and amnesties. Beautiful lake we loved canoeing on, and very close to mont sourire a breathtaking view. Overall a wonderful experience!

Solenne is a lovely and lively host and was super fast to respond to our last minute booking. The camping spot was beautiful, ideal for the two us and the little hike to it from the car was actually very much appreciated, it made me feel like I am in wilderness, with the benefit of an outhouse. We used the canoe which is at the lake for camper’s use and enjoy the quiet evening on the lake. The only downside of the spot is that because it is so quite, the near by road can get quite loud and we also had bush plane flying overhead few time, which was very noisy.

They have a beautiful property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we felt fully immersed in nature and could see stars from in our tent. The host made sure we had everything we’d need and gave clear instructions about everything. Such fair pricing and I would definitely come back here :-)

Mon copain et moi avons adoré notre séjour de 2 nuits. Le secteur est plutôt isolé même si il faut passer par le terrain de la maison des hôtes. C’est environ à 3-5 minutes de marches dans le bois de leur residence, donc on ne les entend pas du tout même lorsque qu’ils sont à l’extérieur. On est entouré de bruits d’oiseaux et de grenouilles, ce qui rend l’expérience super agréable. Nous avons eu la chance de faire du canoë sur 2 très petits lacs à 2 minutes de marche. Nous avons bien décroché! Un gros merci aux hôtes super sympathique et de bons conseils.
