The Point...
The main shared area "The Point", is the peninsula that the main roadway ends at (where the BBQ, kayaks and canoes are), this is a shared area for us and our guests to enjoy. The Point offers a large picnic table, a propane BBQ, comfortable seating, a large rock perfect for sunbathing, and a river view. It's an ideal spot for swimming and launching canoes, kayaks, or paddle-board river excursions, thanks to its shallow entry and rocky bottom. Adventurous visitors might choose to paddle upriver, around an island, and return through the remaining historic canal. For a more strenuous workout, consider paddling up the canal to the Grenville lighthouse and then drifting all the way back to camp with the river's current. Enjoy this historic, lazy river experience!

The Domaine de la Templerie is first and foremost a Table champêtre (farm to table). To have a rustic table, a good majority of the products served in the restaurant must come from the farm. This is why you will find on site a farm with wild boars, geese, ducks, guinea fowl, pheasants, capons, turkeys and many other animals! Pour avoir une table champêtre, une bonne majorité des produits servis au restaurant doit provenir de la ferme. C'est pourquoi vous allez retrouver sur place une ferme avec des sangliers, des oies, des canards, des pintades, des faisans, des chapons, des dindes et plusieurs autres animaux! Nous transformons nos produits à la ferme et les vendons aussi à la ferme. Nous avons aussi un terrain de soccer, un terrain de volleyball et un jeu de fer.

We are very happy with our 2 night stay at Rae's camping site. We chose it because of all the available amenities. We were super glad with the place as everything was set up to give us beginners a sweet first time camping trial. It gave us a very fun first taste and we are excited to do more camping now :). Quel bonheur de rester sur le magnifique terrain de Any et son mari! Nos hôtes nous ont tout de suite mises très à l’aise, à la fois accueillants et discrets. Le lieu est paisible et enchanteur. Et nous avons bien profité du joli étang, grâce à la chaloupe et aux paddle board! Un lieu à retourner!

Our family loved the entire layout of the beautiful property, with the horses, beautiful pond and green hills. The pagoda on the pond is a wonderful place to chat, play games with the kids, read, share a glass of wine, enjoy a meal or simply listen to the frogs while the sun goes down. The owner Marilee (sp?) couldn’t be nicer and likes to ensure you have what you need. Wonderful to have a clean bathroom with a shower too! There are great hiking and biking options nearby. We look forward to coming back!

Lovely place! Magical at night with the fairy lights. Rae was so warm and welcoming! We enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfy and the place very cosy and clean. The scenery was spectacular and just what we need to escape the daily grind. Thanks for having us!

Loved it so much! Our host was so friendly. The place had such a great charm and attention to detail. Loved the front row show to the ferrier at work! The Colt, horses, and pony were so adorable and sweet. Great shower, and floating kitchen over the lake was amazing! A very unique experience. Check your directions ahead of time, the reception is spotty.

I was just there for an overnight on my first ever Hipcamp. It was a wonderful quiet campsite located close town so that I could go get all of the things I forgot to bring. Camping by the river was amazing. I could walk about 20 yards from my site and swim in a pristine smooth flowing river. Émilie and Dominique were awesome. Emilie brought me some blankets and Dominique kept me stocked with firewood. Great experience that I’ll definitely repeat next time I’m in The Sherbrooke area.

We had a great time at Matthew’s. We had enough privacy and really enjoyed the setup. Great views, the site had its own fire pit, very comfortable. We canoed all three lakes, a great way to spend the afternoon! Lake 1 and 2 are perfect for swimming. Our pup also absolutely loved it! We’ll be back for sure.
