The Point...
The main shared area "The Point", is the peninsula that the main roadway ends at (where the BBQ, kayaks and canoes are), this is a shared area for us and our guests to enjoy. The Point offers a large picnic table, a propane BBQ, comfortable seating, a large rock perfect for sunbathing, and a river view. It's an ideal spot for swimming and launching canoes, kayaks, or paddle-board river excursions, thanks to its shallow entry and rocky bottom. Adventurous visitors might choose to paddle upriver, around an island, and return through the remaining historic canal. For a more strenuous workout, consider paddling up the canal to the Grenville lighthouse and then drifting all the way back to camp with the river's current. Enjoy this historic, lazy river experience!

I built this cabin to be a romantic, cozy off-grid getaway for humans , but if most of our guests are being honest, the dogs are the ones having the best time.
There’s a cozy queen bed with fresh linens and a down duvet. A covered deck with handcrafted rocking chairs for sunset views. A private fire area below for campfires and stargazing. LED lighting, a Bluetooth speaker, a Jackery battery bank, clean well water, lanterns, an outdoor shower, and a clean outhouse. I’ll even haul your gear in by ATV so you can settle in without the hassle.
And after all that work, most guests still seem to agree on the real highlight:
Watching their dogs absolutely lose their minds with happiness.
More than anything, this place has become a favourite for people who want to give their dogs the kind of freedom they rarely get anywhere else. Most of our guests tell us over and over, that their favourite part is watching their best friends make their own decisions, run the trails, sniff everything, chase chipmunks, explore the forest, and basically have the time of their lives.
Of course, the humans tend to enjoy themselves too.
The cabin sits on a west-facing cliff on our private 164-acre property. Once you arrive, you’ll have the feeling of having the whole place to yourselves. The trails, the forest, the quiet, the sunsets, it all feels wonderfully removed from the usual noise.
This time of year, the forest is waking up, and the property starts to shift into spring. It’s a beautiful season here, muddy in spots, full of fresh smells, birdsong, and that feeling that everything is coming back to life. For dogs, it’s heaven. For people, it’s a chance to unplug, slow down, and enjoy a kind of peace that’s getting harder to find.
You’ll have access to 10 km of private trails through forest, ridgelines, and lakeshore. Wildlife is plentiful, and depending on the season, you may spot deer, foxes, loons, and maybe even a family of bald eagles!
There’s no electricity or running water, but that’s part of the magic. This is real off-grid comfort: simple, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up so you can enjoy nature without giving up a good night’s sleep.
Whether you come for a quiet escape, or just to watch your dog have the best weekend of their life, this is the place to be.

In the tipi, the wood is included as well as a bed, just bring your sleeping bags. We have a summer kitchen also for you to cook your meals!

We can accommodate up to 2 RVs at once, with up to 4 adults per site. All of the sites are pull-through, flat, and can accommodate up to 40ft RVs. Please note as we do not have washroom facilities, your RV or Trailer must be self-contained. We can offer garbage removal (compost, recycling, and garbage) for your stay with us. We also welcome any pet travelling with you but please keep them on leash as we have two adorable cats we do not want to scare them.
The town of Brome Lake is the home of the Three Pines Village from the notorious Louise Penny books série.

This cabin is such a restful retreat in the middle of the forest, with a big beautiful hiking trail right on the property. It’s fully secluded for dogs to run freely, yet Mike and Monique live right nearby for anything you need during your stay. The cabin is equipped with all the essentials, the bed is comfy and Mike is highly responsive to any needs, while also respecting your privacy. I can’t wait to return!

A wonderful little spot! The cabin overlooking the cliff makes you feel like you’re above the trees, and the sunsets are to die for. Everything we could need was provided, which made for the most relaxing weekend ever. Of course, our dogs had the most amazing time, running free in the forest while we walked along the marked trails. It felt both private and homey, the perfect combination for a getaway from the city. Big thank you to Mike for the clear instructions and helpful attitude; we didn’t need anything but I wouldn’t have hesitated to ask!

10/10! The Solennes were so kind! They were probably the kindest people I have ever met! Their property is gorgeous! The campsite is on a hill between two lakes. We had beavers swim up right next to us. They have canoes for you to use. My brother and I went out on the lake during sunset and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I highly recommend staying here if you have the chance!

Nous avions tout ce qu’il fallait pour passer une excellente fin de semaine en nature. L’endroit est bien entretenu, paisible et parfait pour décrocher complètement. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter.

David’s camping spot is magical. Located right on a small private lake in front his parents’ property, only 10-12 minutes from La Tuque. We didn’t get to meet David as he was away, but we did meet David’s parents, who are incredible hosts: hospitable, considerate, kind, and absolutely hilarious. True gems we felt lucky to have met. They made us feel right at home. The only downside is the property is right next to a country road, which can get a little noisy at times, but honestly we didn’t even notice it much. We were quite sad to leave and hope to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The setting is beautiful, perfect for fishing, relaxing, and stargazing at night. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We also brought our two dogs, and it turned out to be a great spot for them as well.
The only minor downside was the nearby road, as you can hear trucks passing at night. That said, it didn’t take away from what was overall an amazing camping experience. We would definitely come back!

Stayed for a one-night getaway from the city, loved the amazing view, the cabin's cozy simplicity and the beautiful surroundings. Mike was a great host -- would recommend even if you're coming without a furry friend. :)

Nous avons aimé le magnifique paysage de cet jolie camping, aménagé avec tant de soin. Le calme y régnait et nous avons eu le privilège de découvrir la fabrication artisanale de sirop d'érable dans une ancienne cabane à sucre, tout près du camping.
La chaleur est extrêmement conviviale et agréable.
Je recommande vivement cet endroit.
We loved the beautiful and loveley landscape of the huge campground, which is created with so much love. It was very quiet and we had the privilege to see a real and traditional handcrafted production maple syrup in an old suger shack right in the neighbourhood of the campground.
Absolutely friendly and helpful host.
I can highly recommend it.

I had such a great experience at this campsite and would absolutely come back. The grounds are beautiful although a bit muddy since the snow just melted. The views are stunning in every direction, and the sound of water running down the rocks adds such a peaceful, calming vibe to the whole experience. Sleeping in a tent next to running water is such a peaceful, grounding feeling. The gentle sound of the water flowing over the rocks creates this natural white noise that instantly relaxes you.
It’s also super dog friendly, which made the trip even better. They had plenty of space to explore and were just as happy as I was. There are picnic tables set up throughout, making it easy to relax and enjoy meals outdoors as long as weather permits.
Parking is very convenient and close to the sites, which makes unloading and setting up stress-free. I also really appreciated how clean and practical everything was, garbage bins are easy to find and well-maintained up the road. A huge bonus is that there’s a Metro grocery store just 5 minutes away, so if you forget anything or want to grab fresh food, it’s incredibly convenient.
Overall, it’s the perfect mix of nature, comfort, and accessibility. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped camping spot!
