**IMPORTANT** Our hipcamp calendar does NOT sync with our website booking platform. You can either check-in with us for availability or go directly to our website. Some escapes are real. This is one of them. Lièvre Rouge sits on 275 private acres in the Hautes-Laurentides, two and a half hours north of Montréal — and far enough from everything else that the silence becomes something you can feel. No road noise. No ambient light. Just boreal forest, three spring-fed lakes, and the particular weight of having nowhere to be. The micro-cabins are designed to disappear into the landscape — not minimalist for aesthetics, but stripped of everything that gets in the way. Wake up to birdsong or snow-muffled quiet depending on the season. Step outside to a lake that, for these few days, belongs entirely to you. The Spa du Sous-Bois is the kind of place you stop rushing through. Outdoor thermal soaking, wood-fired sauna, deep forest quiet. Included in your stay. Best appreciated after a long afternoon on the trails — or before the evening begins. (Only open from August to May) In the evening, follow the lights through the trees to the Café-Buvette — a forest speakeasy that doesn't appear on any map. Handcrafted cocktails, local spirits, craft beers... the kind of atmosphere that only exists when the setting does the work. The property connects directly to the P'tit Train du Nord, one of Québec's most beloved outdoor corridors. Cycling in summer, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter. We don't close for any season — we just change what's waiting for you outside. This is not a resort. No front desk, no itinerary, no manufactured experience. What there is: 275 acres, three lakes, a forest spa, and a hidden bar at the end of a path through the trees. Minimum stay: 2 nights. Most guests wish they'd booked 3. Cert#: 627811

Camping au Lac Amik

Tent site · Sleeps 6
Beautiful and secluded camp site for one group, with two 10 tent platforms, on a very private lake. The platforms measure approximately 10X10 ft. This campsite is considered a backcountry site meaning that it is not accessible by car. A 20 to 30 minute hike into the forest on a very rustic trail with some small obstacles to navigate is to be expected. All of your gear will need to be carried to the site by backpack. A luggage shuttle is available to hire on site at a cost of $25.00 and includes bringing equipment to the site on the day of the check-in, as well as a pick-up on the day of departure. At the site, guests will find a picnic table, a fire pit, a bench by the fire pit, 2 kayaks, and a bug shelter. The rental fee includes access to the Lievre Rouge trails, access to 2 lakes, the use of the available canoes and kayaks, as well as an access to the Guest Lodge where showers are located. However, some additional fees are to be expected upon check-in such as dog fees ($20.00 per day) and taxes. Please note that our calendar on HipCamp does not get updated. For an up to date availability calendar, please consult our website which can be found under Lièvre Rouge in the municipality of Lac Saguay in the Laurentians.
