Il y a une douche chauffée à pleine pression, des toilettes à compost, un évier extérieur et une station de cuisson. Le site est réservé pour une intimité totale, une seule réservation de groupe à la fois, vous disposez donc de votre propre espace privé dans les bois. Il y a une cheminée dans la cabane avec beaucoup de bois. Le sol est principalement constitué de tremplins naturels, cueillis à la main dans les bois. La cabane est nichée dans une forêt magique de mousse et de fougères avec des lucioles, des hiboux, des cerfs et des renards. Il y a des sentiers de randonnée paisibles et entretenus. Un foyer extérieur de cuisine en forme de sphère sous des lampes solaires lucioles ajoute à l’expérience magique. Il existe de merveilleuses activités telles que la pêche, le kayak (Safari Kayak) et les pistes cyclables dans la région. Remontez le temps et découvrez la rare sagesse des érables à sucre mesurant plus de 150 pieds de haut. Vous ne voudrez plus jamais partir, revenir et voir la splendeur colorée des arbres à l'automne et au début du printemps, nous prévoyons de mettre la main sur la fabrication du sirop d'érable.
Cabine Luciole is a heritage Sugar Maple Cabin built in the late 1800's. It is located in an mossy, old growth maple forest with towering majestic maple trees. It is built on a leyline by Irish (Erin) settlers, giving it powerful energy to rejuvinate. You can also walk the cretan labyrinth, to bring balance.
catherdral tin roof cabin has enough space for dinning, entertaining and yoga, it also has a sleeping loft for 2 people, and can be used as a reading nook, bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, and towels and you are welcome to set up a tent on the outdoor camping site. There is a heated full pressure shower, compost toilet and an outdoor sink and cooking station. The site is booked for complete privacy, only one group booking at a time, so you have your own private spot in the woods. There is a fireplace in the cabin with plenty of wood. The floor is mostly nature stepping stones, hand picked from the woods. The cabin is nestled in a moss and fern magical woods with fireflies, owls, deer, and foxes. There are groomed peaceful walking trails. A sphere shaped cooking outdoor fireplace under firefly solar lights adds to the magical experience. There are wonderful activates such as fishing, kayaking (Safari Kayak) and bike trails in the local area. Go back in time and experience the rare wisdom of the sugar maple trees that are over 150 feet tall. You will never want to leave, come back and see the trees colourful splendor in the fall and in early spring we plan to have hands on maple syrup making.

Quelques sites de camping sont mis à votre disposition près de la Rivière-À-Claude. Accès au bloc sanitaire avec douche (prévoir des 1$), toilette et eau potable. L'accès au camping est de 20$ par personne. Accès a un sauna sur le bord de la rivière. Notez que les sites sont fait pour des vans et donc un peu moins idéal pour des tente (À avoir en tête en reservant). L'accès se fait de manière autonome. Des affiches avec informations sont situé un peu partout sur la propriété, s'y référer si vous avez des questions.
Pour trouver le camping : Sur la route Castonguay, à environ 3 kilomètres de la 132, vous arriverez à un lieu où il y aura des jardins à votre gauche. Continuez quelques mètres plus loin et vous verrez une pancarte qui indique « vélo, hébergement » avec une flèche, à gauche. Vous entrerez alors dans un grand parking de gravel, les spots de camping sont a droite.!
A few campsites are available near the Rivière-À-Claude. Access to the sanitary block with shower (provide $1), toilet and drinking water. Access to the campsite is $20 per person and the day of cycling is included. Access to a sauna on the edge of the river.
To find the campsite : On Castonguay Road, about 3 kilometers from the 132, you will come to a place where there will be gardens on your left. Continue a few meters further and you will see a sign that says "bike, accommodation" with an arrow, on the left. You will then enter a large gravel parking lot. The campsite are on the right.

I built this cabin to be a romantic, cozy off-grid getaway for humans , but if most of our guests are being honest, the dogs are the ones having the best time.
There’s a cozy queen bed with fresh linens and a down duvet. A covered deck with handcrafted rocking chairs for sunset views. A private fire area below for campfires and stargazing. LED lighting, a Bluetooth speaker, a Jackery battery bank, clean well water, lanterns, an outdoor shower, and a clean outhouse. I’ll even haul your gear in by ATV so you can settle in without the hassle.
And after all that work, most guests still seem to agree on the real highlight:
Watching their dogs absolutely lose their minds with happiness.
More than anything, this place has become a favourite for people who want to give their dogs the kind of freedom they rarely get anywhere else. Most of our guests tell us over and over, that their favourite part is watching their best friends make their own decisions, run the trails, sniff everything, chase chipmunks, explore the forest, and basically have the time of their lives.
Of course, the humans tend to enjoy themselves too.
The cabin sits on a west-facing cliff on our private 164-acre property. Once you arrive, you’ll have the feeling of having the whole place to yourselves. The trails, the forest, the quiet, the sunsets, it all feels wonderfully removed from the usual noise.
This time of year, the forest is waking up, and the property starts to shift into spring. It’s a beautiful season here, muddy in spots, full of fresh smells, birdsong, and that feeling that everything is coming back to life. For dogs, it’s heaven. For people, it’s a chance to unplug, slow down, and enjoy a kind of peace that’s getting harder to find.
You’ll have access to 10 km of private trails through forest, ridgelines, and lakeshore. Wildlife is plentiful, and depending on the season, you may spot deer, foxes, loons, and maybe even a family of bald eagles!
There’s no electricity or running water, but that’s part of the magic. This is real off-grid comfort: simple, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up so you can enjoy nature without giving up a good night’s sleep.

There is a heated full pressure shower, compost toilet and an outdoor sink and cooking station. The site is booked for complete privacy, only one group booking at a time, so you have your own private spot in the woods. There is a fireplace in the cabin with plenty of wood. The floor is mostly nature stepping stones, hand picked from the woods. The cabin is nestled in a moss and fern magical woods with fireflies, owls, deer, and foxes. There are groomed peaceful walking trails. A sphere shaped cooking outdoor fireplace under firefly solar lights adds to the magical experience. There are wonderful activates such as fishing, kayaking (Safari Kayak) and bike trails in the local area. Go back in time and experience the rare wisdom of the sugar maple trees that are over 150 feet tall. You will never want to leave, come back and see the trees colourful splendor in the fall and in early spring we plan to have hands on maple syrup making.

Continuez quelques mètres plus loin et vous verrez une pancarte qui indique « vélo, hébergement » avec une flèche, à gauche. Vous entrerez alors dans un grand parking de gravel, les spots de camping sont a droite.!

More than anything, this place has become a favourite for people who want to give their dogs the kind of freedom they rarely get anywhere else. Most of our guests tell us over and over, that their favourite part is watching their best friends make their own decisions, run the trails, sniff everything, chase chipmunks, explore the forest, and basically have the time of their lives.
Of course, the humans tend to enjoy themselves too.
The cabin sits on a west-facing cliff on our private 164-acre property. Once you arrive, you’ll have the feeling of having the whole place to yourselves. The trails, the forest, the quiet, the sunsets, it all feels wonderfully removed from the usual noise.
This time of year, the forest is waking up, and the property starts to shift into spring. It’s a beautiful season here, muddy in spots, full of fresh smells, birdsong, and that feeling that everything is coming back to life. For dogs, it’s heaven. For people, it’s a chance to unplug, slow down, and enjoy a kind of peace that’s getting harder to find.
You’ll have access to 10 km of private trails through forest, ridgelines, and lakeshore. Wildlife is plentiful, and depending on the season, you may spot deer, foxes, loons, and maybe even a family of bald eagles!

Nous avons aimé le magnifique paysage de cet jolie camping, aménagé avec tant de soin. Le calme y régnait et nous avons eu le privilège de découvrir la fabrication artisanale de sirop d'érable dans une ancienne cabane à sucre, tout près du camping.
La chaleur est extrêmement conviviale et agréable.
Je recommande vivement cet endroit.
We loved the beautiful and loveley landscape of the huge campground, which is created with so much love. It was very quiet and we had the privilege to see a real and traditional handcrafted production maple syrup in an old suger shack right in the neighbourhood of the campground.
Absolutely friendly and helpful host.
I can highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Camp dans Rouge! Rae was a wonderful host, always going above and beyond to making sure we were well settled, comfortable and had a great time there!
If you’re planning on going there over the winter, don’t hesitate! The furnace warms up the cabin very well (we were toasty, also there’s a CO2 detector so no risk there), the bed was comfy, and the place equipped with everything one might need while camping and more (kitchen utensils, but also kettle, mini fridge, etc.). We definitely had a great stay and would totally be down to come back another time!

We had a great stay at the Leo cabin at Agape Gardens! Our hosts were easy to communicate with and quick to answer any questions we had throughout our stay. The walking trail, beautiful cabin, and wood fired hot tub were highlights for us. It was an incredibly relaxing stay!

Six stars for Camp Dans Rouge! Amazing scenery, a roaring wood stove to keep you warm, and the best hospitality from Rae and her little helper. If you need a perfect mountain escape by the river, this is it. Highly recommend!

An absolutely perfect winter cabin retreat. Cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped. It was a great place to unplug, relax, and enjoy the winter season. We loved being able to let our dog roam safely off-leash and enjoy the freedom. Mike gave us such a warm welcome that immediately made us feel at home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and falling asleep while gazing at the stars through the trees was a magical touch. The outdoor kitchen was one of our favourite features. We hope to return.

Great site and great very accommodating, kind hosts! My sister and I stayed a night at their tent site. Jenny and her husband were helpful in showing us around, making sure we had everything we needed, and even offered us firewood when ours was wet.
The property itself was beautiful and we had full access to an indoor room to warm up, a bathroom with warm water and shower, and trails around the property. We even stoppped for a while to look at the chickens they keep.
Highly recommend and will be back! Thanks Jenny!

Weekend Trip to Agape Gardens - Nature Retreat
The off grid cabin was a really cozy and scenic experience! The cabin opens up to a lovely view of the surrounding hills and woods with a nice forest to walk on the property.
Spending the evening in? They have a wonderful sauna, cold plunge and hot tub area with amazing views of the night sky, great for a weekend getaway.

We loved everything about our stay in the Cliffside Cabin and will definitely return. The cabin is cozy and inviting and kept us snug and warm despite the frigid -30 degree temps outside. The bed is heavenly; so comfortable for sleeping, and also surrounded by windows for enjoying the stunning views and sunset. The cabin strikes the perfect balance of rustic and convenience, so you get the charm and atmosphere of being off grid, but the comfort and ease of having lights easily accessible and sleeping through the night without having to stoke a fire to stay warm. The property is incredible. It’s totally private and has tons of beautiful wooded trails to explore. We snowshoed for hours and enjoyed the variety of trail types, from machine set to human set to making our very own in the deep snow! We were there during a nighttime snowshoe race so got to see all the headlamps moving very quickly through the forest from the comfort of the cabin after our own snowshoe adventure. Our dog, who is reactive and barky in the city, was able to be off leash and lived his best life from arrival to departure. He tired himself out exploring and put himself to bed early! Last but definitely not least, Mike was an exceptional host. He is responsive and thoughtful, offering to reschedule when I asked about the cold, and even offering to loan us his dog’s jacket when I said I might buy one. He is interesting and so easy to talk to, and we left his presence feeling uplifted. Highly recommend!

My partner and I LOVE staying here on our occasional trip up north! 20 Minutes from Gatineau Park and 35 minutes from Ottawa, it’s the perfect balance of time in the city and the beautiful countryside. Incredibly accommodating and kind hosts, it’s well worth a stay for any occasion :)
