Beautiful lands, the family was extremely accommodative and kind. The view is gorgeous and close to some amazing hiking trails, canoeing and helping with berry picking was definitely a highlight. Campsite is extremely clean and quiet at night, we felt like we had a private retreat!!

Super awesome place everyone was very kind. Gorgeous scenery, they left the canoe for us so we had a nice paddle during sunset. We were far enough away that it was private but not so far we had to hike an insane distance. 100% recommend

Best Camping Experience of my Life

10/10! The Solennes were so kind! They were probably the kindest people I have ever met! Their property is gorgeous! The campsite is on a hill between two lakes. We had beavers swim up right next to us. They have canoes for you to use. My brother and I went out on the lake during sunset and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I highly recommend staying here if you have the chance!

We enjoyed the site. The directions were clear and the path was well marked. It felt more like a canoe camping site than a basecamp. Canoeing around both lakes to observe the beavers habitat and the rare plants was great. Solennes and her husband were friendly hosts.

Solenne is a lovely and lively host and was super fast to respond to our last minute booking.
The camping spot was beautiful, ideal for the two us and the little hike to it from the car was actually very much appreciated, it made me feel like I am in wilderness, with the benefit of an outhouse. We used the canoe which is at the lake for camper’s use and enjoy the quiet evening on the lake. The only downside of the spot is that because it is so quite, the near by road can get quite loud and we also had bush plane flying overhead few time, which was very noisy.

I loved this camping spot. It was very private (make sure you have something to carry your gear in, as you will need to walk it out to the campsite). It was wonderful having access to the canoes. Solenne's land has access to a lake that only a few other houses seem to have access to. I had the lake all to myself both times I went out.

They have a beautiful property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we felt fully immersed in nature and could see stars from in our tent. The host made sure we had everything we’d need and gave clear instructions about everything. Such fair pricing and I would definitely come back here :-)

Mon copain et moi avons adoré notre séjour de 2 nuits. Le secteur est plutôt isolé même si il faut passer par le terrain de la maison des hôtes. C’est environ à 3-5 minutes de marches dans le bois de leur residence, donc on ne les entend pas du tout même lorsque qu’ils sont à l’extérieur. On est entouré de bruits d’oiseaux et de grenouilles, ce qui rend l’expérience super agréable. Nous avons eu la chance de faire du canoë sur 2 très petits lacs à 2 minutes de marche. Nous avons bien décroché! Un gros merci aux hôtes super sympathique et de bons conseils.

This was a beautiful forested nature spot that was very peaceful. The campsite is on a ridge between two smaller lakes with a small hike to the car, Solene’s home and the compostable outhouse style bathroom. This is a great place for adults who enjoy nature and are not looking for many amenities. They mentioned having a canoe available for use.
It was a purrrrfect trip for myself and my cat!

Arrivée simple et accueil chaleureux, l'endroit de camping se trouve dans une forêt de pins, sur une pointe entre deux étangs séparés par un impressionnant barrage de castors. Avons pris l'apéro en canot sur l'eau au coucher du soleil, c'était féérique. Accès à une toilette sèche, un vrai plus ! Merci :)

Beautiful quiet camp site. The site itself is on the top of a ridge, giving you a fantastic view and protection from sleeping on wet ground if it were to rain. The scenery is amazing, with lots of birds and beavers to admire. The hosts are very friendly and communicate easily.

Nous étions les premiers à utiliser ce site. Nous avons été en mesure d’y installer trois petites tentes individuelles ainsi qu’un setup pour les repas. C’est un endroit vraiment tranquille, à côté d’un barrage de castors, où on entend les oiseaux et les outardes plus que la route. Le lac est visible du site. C’est rudimentaire, mais c’est aussi ce qui fait son charme, et le prix est imbattable! Je recommande!
