It is built on a leyline by Irish (Erin) settlers, giving it powerful energy to rejuvinate. You can also walk the cretan labyrinth, to bring balance. catherdral tin roof cabin has enough space for dinning, entertaining and yoga, it also has a sleeping loft for 2 people, and can be used as a reading nook, bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, and towels and you are welcome to set up a tent on the outdoor camping site. There is a heated full pressure shower, compost toilet and an outdoor sink and cooking station. The site is booked for complete privacy, only one group booking at a time, so you have your own private spot in the woods. There is a fireplace in the cabin with plenty of wood. The floor is mostly nature stepping stones, hand picked from the woods. The cabin is nestled in a moss and fern magical woods with fireflies, owls, deer, and foxes. There are groomed peaceful walking trails. A sphere shaped cooking outdoor fireplace under firefly solar lights adds to the magical experience. There are wonderful activates such as fishing, kayaking (Safari Kayak) and bike trails in the local area. Go back in time and experience the rare wisdom of the sugar maple trees that are over 150 feet tall. You will never want to leave, come back and see the trees colourful splendor in the fall and in early spring we plan to have hands on maple syrup making.

I built this cabin to be a romantic, cozy off-grid getaway for humans , but if most of our guests are being honest, the dogs are the ones having the best time. There’s a cozy queen bed with fresh linens and a down duvet. A covered deck with handcrafted rocking chairs for sunset views. A private fire area below for campfires and stargazing. LED lighting, a Bluetooth speaker, a Jackery battery bank, clean well water, lanterns, an outdoor shower, and a clean outhouse. I’ll even haul your gear in by ATV so you can settle in without the hassle. And after all that work, most guests still seem to agree on the real highlight: Watching their dogs absolutely lose their minds with happiness. More than anything, this place has become a favourite for people who want to give their dogs the kind of freedom they rarely get anywhere else. Most of our guests tell us over and over, that their favourite part is watching their best friends make their own decisions, run the trails, sniff everything, chase chipmunks, explore the forest, and basically have the time of their lives. Of course, the humans tend to enjoy themselves too. The cabin sits on a west-facing cliff on our private 164-acre property. Once you arrive, you’ll have the feeling of having the whole place to yourselves. The trails, the forest, the quiet, the sunsets, it all feels wonderfully removed from the usual noise. In summer, the forest is lush, green, and full of life. The days are warm, the trails are shaded, and evenings at the cliff often bring a breeze and a beautiful sunset. For dogs, there’s endless space to explore. For people, it’s a chance to unplug, slow down, and enjoy a kind of peace that’s getting harder to find. You’ll have access to 10 km of private trails through forest, ridgelines, and lakeshore. Wildlife is plentiful, and depending on the season, you may spot deer, foxes, loons, and maybe even a family of bald eagles! There’s no electricity or running water, but that’s part of the magic. This is real off-grid comfort: simple, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up so you can enjoy nature without giving up a good night’s sleep. Whether you come for a quiet escape, or just to watch your dog have the best weekend of their life, this is the place to be.

Extrêmement bien situé, a seulement 15 minutes du zoo de Granby , 12 minutes du parc de la Yamaska et 25 minutes de la montagne de Bromont. De plus, a quelques centaines de mètres , se trouve notre verger ou vous pourrez y récolter des pommes en saison.

Gorgeous site! Better than the photos. The hosts were super fast at responding, and everything was ready for us to use easily. Kayaking on the lake was a beautiful experience, and I loved how easy it was to access everything. One note is that the ground is extremely uneven, which was fun for us and a cool environment to camp in, but it would be challenging to move around the site if you have any mobility issues. Un site magnifique ! Encore plus beau que sur les photos. Les hôtes répondaient super rapidement à nos messages, et tout était prêt pour que nous puissions profiter facilement de tout sur place. Faire du kayak sur le lac était une expérience magnifique, et j’ai adoré à quel point tout était facilement accessible. Un petit point à noter : le terrain est extrêmement inégal. C’était amusant pour nous et ça donnait un cadre vraiment original au camping, mais il pourrait être difficile de se déplacer sur le site pour les personnes ayant des problèmes de mobilité.

We had a wonderful stay at Camp in Rouge! Camping was so effortless without the hassle of packing tons of supplies—all we needed to bring were our clothes and food. Rae is an incredibly friendly and welcoming host who instantly made us feel right at home. She gave us clear, detailed directions to the secret waterfall, which turned out to be a major highlight—our son had an absolute blast! P.S. My husband is still raving about the brownies from the bake sale!
