Located in a peaceful and charming atmosphere less than 45 minutes from Ottawa-Gatineau, Borefüge will allow you to experience a stay in unique accommodations in addition to being able to engage in several activities. Several activities on-site and nearby: Hiking / Snowshoeing: 3.5 km of easy to intermediate level trails Various bodies of water nearby, including private access to the Lièvre River (5-minute drive). Ideal for swimming, paddling around, and calm-water river descent over 17 kilometers. Prospector's Tent
Truly a hidden little gem. Beautiful mountain terrain, with a charming little creek that flows through. Very minimal cabin with a wood stove and a open deck that works like a kitchenette. Communication between the owner was no problem at all.

Cool spot but access level 1 out 5
NordTent
Spot is pretty cool but access to it is very poor. Furthermore tent site isn’t level either, which was a big drawback that led us to pack after one night. Wheel cart is provided but rolled twice because pathway isn’t smooth, it’s a skill on its own. Trails are essentially hiking trails and there isn’t much to do at the site. No additional information is available for possible activities.
