The view, the crystal clear water and the setup was perfect. The raised dock with the sunrise view was an added bonus. True glamping, everything you needed was provided and thought of already. Our new regular spot that we hope to come back to many times.

This was our second time enjoying Monique’s beautiful property. Cool nights and sunny mornings made for some amazing views of mist swirling on the lake while sipping morning coffee. The crystal clear lakes were still warm enough for swimming and small enough to explore by kayak in an afternoon. Lots of little thoughtful touches everywhere we looked. Thank you for another wonderful fall getaway!

Super clean, great swimming, and lots of room for the entire group. Tons of extras that made our trip perfect; canoe, kayaks chairs, picnic table, and fully fenced off to the road making it very safe for dogs. Highly recommend!

This is our 2nd year coming to Monique's site, and it was absolutely amazing!
From the breathtaking view of the pristine lake, to the huge glamping tent with king size bed, this place has everything you will need to unwind, relax and enjoy the water.
This place has now become our annual Hipcamp spot!

We loved Monique’s land, the spacious tent, beautiful dock, fishing, swimming, kayaking, watching birds and chipmunks.
We kept our dogs on the leash bc of the road, but they loved their vacation too.

We enjoyed a wonderful 3-night stay! The host was very friendly and welcoming, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. Our kids spent most of their time hanging out by the dock and in the water, and even caught some fish, a real highlight for them.
The camp spot is lovely, with a beautiful lake and peaceful surroundings. The king-size foam bed was incredibly comfortable for a great night's sleep. Just a heads up: our first night was quite cold, so be sure to check the weather and come prepared with warm clothes if it calls for it.
The best part was the generous extras provided: a BBQ for cooking, both adult and kids’ kayaks, a canoe, life jackets, and having electricity available on sight is the chef's kiss. These thoughtful amenities made our stay extra convenient and fun.
Highly recommend this spot for families looking to relax, enjoy nature, and have some great water activities right at their doorstep. We’d love to return!

We love this site, we have come back again this year! The tent, deck and lake are beautiful. Monique is a great host that has thought of every detail for a great glamping experience. Yes, you can hear the trucks go by on the road, but its lovely and we will return again next year.

We had a great time!
The view is amazing, the lake quiet and peaceful, with no weeds and clear water, ideal for swimming and kayaking.
The tent was cute and cozy, more than we expected.
Everything in perfect order and easily accessed.,
Monique was very friendly and responsive providing lots of good information and always responded to any questions promptly.

Monique’s glamping site was a perfect place for our family of 6 to get a few days away from everything. The gas grill and cooking utensils were bonuses. Having electricity while tent camping was really nice. We spent a lot of time in the water or on the dock. The kayaks and canoe were great and the kids loved the big floating mat. Using the goggles provided to explore the shore around the property was really fun for the kids as well. As others mentioned, the road can be loud. It wasn’t really an issue, just slightly annoying first thing in the morning. Overall we had a great couple days, and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Monique’s glamping spot was a beautiful experience! The tent and mattress were super comfortable, and lots of little things provided. We loved the lake as it was deep and there was no seaweed at the dock. Overall 10/10!

We just finished another stay at Monique's beautiful spot. Monique is an amazing host and made sure that we had everything we needed as well as checking in regularly. With all of the amenities provided, you have everything you need for a great stay. The site itself is beautiful, the tent spacious and the lake and (new) dock are where we spent most (all?!) of our time. The water is deep, clear and refreshing. The combination of a beautiful setting, amazing host and great amenities keeps us coming back every year. We highly recommend a stay Monique's land!

This was like having everything you could ever want from a camping spot but 100 times better. I would recomend anyone. The two small lakes are just the perfect size gor a good canoe ride. A real five star spot. If you do go, please respect the place and do not ruin it for the rest of us.

We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful glamping site! It was absolute perfection. The tent was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was nice that they provided bug spray, newspapers and lighter to start the fire, lots of dry firewood and an axe, garbage bags, zip lock bags, all kinds of card/board games. Having access to the canoe and kayaks with life jackets was great. The water is crystal clear!! We could see fish swimming beneath us. Also my dog loved it!! I cannot recommend this place enough, especially if you have a dog (or kids!) it’s so fun :) We will be back for sure! There were loons calling at it was so magical, and so many butterflies! The only downside was how close it is to the road where cars and semi trucks drive by at 90km/hr sometimes late at night but it wasn’t that bad. All in all I think it’s a little paradise!

We had a fantastic weekend at this lakeside campsite in Otter Lake, QC. The site had everything you could possibly need—firewood, gas grill with extra propane, chairs, kitchen supplies, fan, even extras like a dog bowl, long lead, life vests, and fairy lights. It felt like an outdoor Airbnb with all the thoughtful touches. We definitely overpacked—next time, we’ll bring less!
The site was very clean, well maintained, and clearly cared for. It's private (only one campsite), surrounded by water on three sides, and fenced in—perfect for letting our dog roam freely. It is near a road, but traffic dies down at night and didn’t disturb us.
We loved the dock, clear water, and free use of the kayak and canoe. It was our first time kayaking and the whole family loved it—our dog even joined in, though he did tip us twice (lots of laughs!).
The host was friendly and responsive through the app. Great for families, solo campers, beginners, and dog owners. Only small suggestions: a toilet paper holder, hand towel hook, and coat hook in the bathroom would be handy.
Bonus tip: Brauwerk Hoffman in Campbell’s Bay (15 min away) has great food, local beer, and dog-friendly shaded seating.

What an amazing weekend! There were so many little touches that elevated our stay. Monique responded immediately to any of our questions and the site was super clean. As other reviews indicate, we were close to the road, but the traffic didn’t disturb us at all and it was very quiet later in the evening. I can’t say enough about this spot, we will definitely be returning!

Such a lovely experience. The lake is gorgeous and quiet, the tent spacious and cute, and the bed really comfortable. The deck and dock were new and we appreciated the amenities like kayaks, firewood and a hammock. Monique was really responsive and nice. Only thing to know is it is on a small highway that had a lot of fast traffic including logging trucks.
Fair enough for the price though.

It’s a beautiful, private little get away. We loved all of the little things that the hosts have done to improve the land and the experience for guests. Monique has very clear and straightforward instructions. There was tons of communication prior to check in and during our stay when needed. The washroom with a composting toilet and water to wash our hands with is a big bonus!

Wonderful stay, we will definitely be coming here again and highly recommend to friends. Location is beautiful, tent is great, hosts were very responsive and all directions were very clear. They thought of every little detail. You can hear the trucks/cars driving by but was far enough from the street that it felt private and safe.

This was our second time back and it was just as relaxing as the first! This year there is an upgraded beautiful new deck/dock to lounge on! The hosts are very welcoming. Overall it really is a 10/10 ! Already talked about planning our next trip back!

My kids (14 and 9) had an amazing time at Monique’s campsite. The yurt was thoughtfully equipped and the site has all the amenities, including a hammock and lots of water toys. The dock provides great access to one of the nicest lakes I have ever swam in. A true treasure!

We had such a perfect stay at Monique's, we are already planning on our next trip. The tent and whole site were really comfortable and well equipped. There wasn't anything we felt was missing. The views of the lake were stunning as was the water front. The little beach area was perfect for putting in the kayaks and for walking into the water to swim. There was no seaweed and the water was crystal clear. We really enjoyed the floating mat as did our dog. Thanks again for a great stay!

We had a great glamping weekend at Monique's lakefront retreat. It's definitely luxury camping with everything you need. The inside of the tent was spacious with a comfortable king sized bed. The property is beautiful, spacious, and has a scenic view of a quiet lake. There is a nice new deck and dock by the water. We had water (not potable) to use for our dishes and a nice bathroom shed with a composting toilet and sink. It would have been nice to have some kind of shelter since it rained a bit. Next time we would bring a tarp to put up over the picnic table. The only drawback was that it is near a fairly busy road and you can hear the cars go by. Otherwise, it was very private.

We really enjoyed our first Glamping experience. It exceeded our expectations from the breathtaking views to all the items provided! Didn’t feel the need to overpack, it was very clean and Monique was very accommodating. We will definitely be back next year!
