We absolutely loved the suspended tent experience and secret paradise on Alex's land. It was heaven. Super private, so much space and little corners to enjoy peace, beauty and nature's rhythms. Alex is an amazing host, even the wildlife on his land are happy, playful and fun. We enjoyed watching the otter family swim all day, who made sure to get our attention multiple times. We felt safe, supported and left very inspired. We are grateful and very blessed for this experience. Thank you Alex :)

We had an amazing stay at this campsite over the weekend! The location is perfect, peaceful, scenic, and exactly what we were hoping for. Alex was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and made sure everything was set up for a comfortable stay. You can really tell they put care into the place. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Weekend Trip to Lakefront Glamping Retreat
This was our second time enjoying Monique’s beautiful property. Cool nights and sunny mornings made for some amazing views of mist swirling on the lake while sipping morning coffee. The crystal clear lakes were still warm enough for swimming and small enough to explore by kayak in an afternoon. Lots of little thoughtful touches everywhere we looked. Thank you for another wonderful fall getaway!

Super clean, great swimming, and lots of room for the entire group. Tons of extras that made our trip perfect; canoe, kayaks chairs, picnic table, and fully fenced off to the road making it very safe for dogs. Highly recommend!

3 nights at Lakefront Glamping Retreat

We loved Monique’s land, the spacious tent, beautiful dock, fishing, swimming, kayaking, watching birds and chipmunks.
We kept our dogs on the leash bc of the road, but they loved their vacation too.

This is our 2nd year coming to Monique's site, and it was absolutely amazing!
From the breathtaking view of the pristine lake, to the huge glamping tent with king size bed, this place has everything you will need to unwind, relax and enjoy the water.
This place has now become our annual Hipcamp spot!

We had an amazing time there as well as our 2 dogs, the sites are clean and well taken care of, lots of paths and room for adventure! The beach is beautiful and clean! We really liked the campground. It was spacious and private. Couldn’t even hear the other campgrounds around us. The little beach was enjoyable. Please note that you can’t drive up to the site and you need to use a wagon to bring your stuff (about 5–10mins going uphill) and there’s only water at the entrance of the campground. Also, if you hear howling at night, it’s the huskies next door and not wolves. Would definitely go back!

Our family really enjoyed the camp site and the beautiful private forest Alex shared!
We booked camp site #3. The site is clean, ground is even. It is close to the beach. You feel like you have the whole forest.
The lake and the beach is wonderful. The water is clear, and you can barefoot stand on the lake. Alex also provides caneo for the guests. Our beagle leant to swim in the lake !
Alex is very friendly, responsive, providing clean instruction accessing the campsite. Chatting with Alex, made you feel like you are visiting a friend.
We definitely will come back to this campsite when we visit this area.

We love this site, we have come back again this year! The tent, deck and lake are beautiful. Monique is a great host that has thought of every detail for a great glamping experience. Yes, you can hear the trucks go by on the road, but its lovely and we will return again next year.

We enjoyed a wonderful 3-night stay! The host was very friendly and welcoming, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. Our kids spent most of their time hanging out by the dock and in the water, and even caught some fish, a real highlight for them.
The camp spot is lovely, with a beautiful lake and peaceful surroundings. The king-size foam bed was incredibly comfortable for a great night's sleep. Just a heads up: our first night was quite cold, so be sure to check the weather and come prepared with warm clothes if it calls for it.
The best part was the generous extras provided: a BBQ for cooking, both adult and kids’ kayaks, a canoe, life jackets, and having electricity available on sight is the chef's kiss. These thoughtful amenities made our stay extra convenient and fun.
Highly recommend this spot for families looking to relax, enjoy nature, and have some great water activities right at their doorstep. We’d love to return!

Very calm, peaceful, private. Loved it. Beautiful small lake with a beach with free kayak, paddle boat etc. campsites are far apart so there’s so much privacy. We didn’t see a single other person from our campsite the whole time.
Alex is a nice host and very welcoming.
Only thing is you have to walk quite a ways to your campsite (site 4 5 and 6 being the furthest). They have plenty of off road trolleys to carry everything though.

Alex has a beautiful property. The campsites are very secluded, so you definitely enjoy being out in nature. He provided good, strong wagons, so it was easy to get all the gear to the site. There was no running water at the site, but we appreciated the 2 port-a-potties that were available, the brook nearby was good enough water to wash dishes with and he said there was a hose at the back of his house that he said we could use.
The beach was so fun - such a relaxed environment, with clean water to swim in, watercraft available for use, chairs and umbrellas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
