About the Property:
We have a one-acre pond that you can bob around in or take out a canoe to paddle in. At night, the pond has a group of frogs that provide a symphony of music with crickets as their background singers. We allow campfires at night - please be fire safe. Fitch Bay is only a 5-minute drive and there are pontoon rides available. We have breathtaking views all over our property and the history of the land is rich. We even have a covered bridge for you to explore.

We only allow for one group of Hipcampers at a time, so you are guaranteed a peaceful and private stay.

A great experience camping at Beausite! The Horse walking experience is a must if you have kids, Our 11 year old loved meeting and taking the 2 miniatures Bozo and Mickey for a walk! We are very happy with our 2 night stay at Rae's camping site. We chose it because of all the available amenities. We were super glad with the place as everything was set up to give us beginners a sweet first time camping trial. It gave us a very fun first taste and we are excited to do more camping now :). Our family loved the entire layout of the beautiful property, with the horses, beautiful pond and green hills. The pagoda on the pond is a wonderful place to chat, play games with the kids, read, share a glass of wine, enjoy a meal or simply listen to the frogs while the sun goes down. The owner Marilee (sp?) couldn’t be nicer and likes to ensure you have what you need. Wonderful to have a clean bathroom with a shower too! There are great hiking and biking options nearby. We look forward to coming back!

Loved it so much! Our host was so friendly. The place had such a great charm and attention to detail. Loved the front row show to the ferrier at work! The Colt, horses, and pony were so adorable and sweet. Great shower, and floating kitchen over the lake was amazing! A very unique experience. Check your directions ahead of time, the reception is spotty.

We had a great time at Matthew’s. We had enough privacy and really enjoyed the setup. Great views, the site had its own fire pit, very comfortable. We canoed all three lakes, a great way to spend the afternoon! Lake 1 and 2 are perfect for swimming. Our pup also absolutely loved it! We’ll be back for sure.

What a gem of a place. Nice wide open area for campers, cabins, domes. Very well kept grounds, nice washroom with a nice shower and a washer if needed. There is a comman area down by the pond that has a BBQ, coffee, water and its covered if it rains. Can't say enough, we will certainly be back in the future.

We booked a spot at Jennie's land last minute and had a wonderful time. Jennie took the time to show us around, explain to us the facilities and was more than generous with helping us feel at ease. I definitely will plan on coming back and ok booking the sauna sessions.

My friends and I loved staying on Matthew's land. The cabins were super cozy and perfect for our large group. We really enjoyed the lake and taking the boats out! Matthew was very helpful and flexible with getting is checked in.
Would be very happy to come back and stay again.

Rae’s land and surroundings were absolutely beautiful - quiet, decently private and has everything you need to enjoy your time and relax! The water had enough access for fishing and some cool dips. Very cool concept for the outdoor darts and for the bathroom. Loved the ability to get crafty with all the woods and nature around. Will definitely be returning in the future. Big thanks to the host for the warm welcome and good vibes!

What a lovely spot! My pup and I set up my tent next to the horses for a night on our way through the area. The kitchen floating on a dock in the pond was stunning! Nice, clean bathroom with shower too. A great spot, very beautiful and peaceful.

I’m glad I stumbled across this little gem of a camp site. The grounds are stunning and have a wonderful mixture of different types of accommodations. They were very capable of hosting my large RV and I had a wonderful time with the horses, the hosts and the other visitors.
