Il y a une douche chauffée à pleine pression, des toilettes à compost, un évier extérieur et une station de cuisson. Le site est réservé pour une intimité totale, une seule réservation de groupe à la fois, vous disposez donc de votre propre espace privé dans les bois. Il y a une cheminée dans la cabane avec beaucoup de bois. Le sol est principalement constitué de tremplins naturels, cueillis à la main dans les bois. La cabane est nichée dans une forêt magique de mousse et de fougères avec des lucioles, des hiboux, des cerfs et des renards. Il y a des sentiers de randonnée paisibles et entretenus. Un foyer extérieur de cuisine en forme de sphère sous des lampes solaires lucioles ajoute à l’expérience magique. Il existe de merveilleuses activités telles que la pêche, le kayak (Safari Kayak) et les pistes cyclables dans la région. Cabine Luciole is a heritage Sugar Maple Cabin built in the late 1800's. It is located in an mossy, old growth maple forest with towering majestic maple trees. It is built on a leyline by Irish (Erin) settlers, giving it powerful energy to rejuvinate. You can also walk the cretan labyrinth, to bring balance. catherdral tin roof cabin has enough space for dinning, entertaining and yoga, it also has a sleeping loft for 2 people, and can be used as a reading nook, bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, and towels and you are welcome to set up a tent on the outdoor camping site. There is a heated full pressure shower, compost toilet and an outdoor sink and cooking station. The site is booked for complete privacy, only one group booking at a time, so you have your own private spot in the woods. There is a fireplace in the cabin with plenty of wood. The floor is mostly nature stepping stones, hand picked from the woods. The cabin is nestled in a moss and fern magical woods with fireflies, owls, deer, and foxes. There are groomed peaceful walking trails. A sphere shaped cooking outdoor fireplace under firefly solar lights adds to the magical experience. There are wonderful activates such as fishing, kayaking (Safari Kayak) and bike trails in the local area. Go back in time and experience the rare wisdom of the sugar maple trees that are over 150 feet tall. You will never want to leave, come back and see the trees colourful splendor in the fall and in early spring we plan to have hands on maple syrup making.

Staying here gives you access to the back forest which is very unique Laurentian old growth forest. . There are streams, swamps, lake country, and you are in the wild but still only be 15 minutes from local villages like St Sauveur. I am practising permaculture and have a food forest, medicinal gardens, chickens and I forage for wild edibles. If you want to learn about plant medicine, cold climate polyculture, sylvopasture and syntropic gardening techniques these are being EXPERIMENTED with here at the homestead, The focus and goal here is to act as a plant nursery and protector of biodiversity and forest integrity. There are lakes in the area but not all are accessible 2 people ideal!....Bring your foamy, camp cots, camping mattress and own bedding, the floor of the cabin is insulated and clean, I'm going for the zen feeling with minimal furniture, a great place to dance, do yoga and bodywork, sound therapy ect... We had a great time camping on Cynthia’s land! She was very accommodating and kind. Electricity, water and firewood was available at the site. Although we loved the campsite, we were a party of 5 and each site is narrow with the next site right beside, thankfully there were no other campers in the site next to us because we wouldn’t have had enough space if there were. For a party of 2, or maybe even 4, the spot would be perfect! Or if you were fortunate like us to have an empty site beside yours. There were, however, other campers 2 lots over and they were playing music, as were we, and we didn’t interfere with each other. That is to say, noise traveling is not an issue and campers can be comfortable in their site without bothering others. Thank you for having us, we would definitely come back!

Very nice site. I was a Sunday night I was there so there was only one other camper. I think if it was full it would have felt too crowded but my experience was very quiet and relaxing. Site was surrounded by beautiful trees and fields and it was the perfect time to see all the fall leaves.

We used the coordinates to find the place and it took us straight there, no issues locating it, even in the dark. Lots of space to exercise your dog if needed. About

To the delight of merchants, the Carillon Canal - built on the Ottawa River for military purposes - opened in 1833. Located 100 kilometres from Montreal and 130 kilometres from Ottawa, the canal is today a pleasure boating waterway. You'll be intrigued by the manoeuvres made by boats using the lock, which enables them to navigate a 20-metre drop in only 40 minutes! Then, head off to explore the former barracks that now house a museum.
