We had an amazing stay! This place had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing camping trip. The toilets were clean, and the campsite was very well maintained. It was fully equipped with kayaks, fishing rods, utensils, a grill, a canopy, and convenient garbage bins, making our stay easy and enjoyable.
The property owner, Daric, was such a wonderful and accommodating host. He was friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect getaway, and we had such a great time. We’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic camping experience!

We absolutely loved the site! It had so many activities to keep my 4 year old, my wife and myself busy. The creek was very nice for kayaking, and great for leaning on. We can't wait for our next adventure!

Really lovely spot to get away from it all. Nice set up and appreciated the automatic light in the outhouse at night. One thing to be aware of is, the bull frogs are loud at night but fun to watch lol.

10/10 this was exactly what I was looking for!
The site was very clean and well maintained, very spacious, and, even though you are pretty close to the other sites/dwellings, you feel very secluded. The parking pad for this site is set up the hill by the road but is nice and level and HUGE, loads of room for multiple vehicles or campers.
Outhouse is clean, garbage/ recycling conveniently located nearby.
Having the screened shelter was a huge bonus when it rained.
Though I didnt use it, having the BBQ is great on site.
It was really nice to hike the little trail across from the sites, they were well marked and easy to navigate. Daric went out and trimmed the trail just before i hiked which was awesome.
There were virtually ZERO bugs my whole stay (mid June... unheard of) but I will attribute this to the entire place being run by the bullfrog mafia (maybe bring ear plugs if you dont absolutely LOVE frog songs)
Daric's big friendly dog did come to visit me and my dogs a few times, he was welcome to join in on the group swimming activities but Daric came and retrieved him readily each time. I would say maybe if youre concerned or have a dog who isnt good with dogs (or intact males) to just let Daric know in advance, Im certain he would be accommodating, but the dog was very docile with my obnoxious dogs who were all significantly smaller than him.
Definitely plan to come back, really great location cant think of a single complaint other than the 4 hour drive 🤣

The site was fantastic. Nice, quiet and plenty of forest for frolicking and funnery of all kinds. It may be a close to the "road", but its very private and secluded. Daric was responsive and brought the groovy vibes. We would go again. Fo sho

Very beautiful campsite! It has literally everything you would need.. If you forget anything this place has got you covered! Loved it and will surely be coming back. It's a good 20 min ride from Madoc or the nearest town so just keep that in mind (:

These campsites are beautiful, I would highly recommend them. I started out at the Ridgeway site, which was great, though the parking is raised up a bit from the site itself. I took the canoe out for a little paddle and saw the Hemlock point site, which is a little more built up with a hammock and screened-in sitting area, and the road descends into the site, so you can drive right into it. I asked Daric if I could switch sites, and he was very accommodating. I only stayed for one night, so couldn't explore as much as I would have liked, but I really enjoyed my experience. Saw tons of birds, and some beavers swimming across the river. The bugs were bad, but that's to be expected in early June, and nothing a good fire couldn't fix. The sites are right on the water (though you can't swim there) with nice views, the outhouses are very clean, and at the Hemlock site in particular there are lots of places to pitch a tent. I tried but wasn't able to find the swimming hole - ask Daric to send you the map of the area via text, as the map he provides in the outhouse doesn't show the exact location of the swimming hole. All in all, a great stay!

Me and my Husband and our dog had an amazing stay at hemlock point! We originally booked brookside which is a cute unique site but wasn’t what we were expecting and wouldn’t have been able to set up properly with our camper van. Daric was super accommodating and let us stay at hemlock point instead it is a gorgeous site it’s stocked with everything you may need and more! The little kitchen set up is so helpful and the outhouse is the nicest out house I’ve ever had the pleasure of using! The cooking firepit is also a highlight and makes cooking over the fire super easy! There’s also a massive picnic table, a hammock, a screened in room with a couch! (And lights!) and a bbq! Absolutely AMAZING space and we will definitely be back! Thanks for sharing this beautiful space with us Daric!

Great site, rustic and private. A bit of a hill to hike if you are staying in a trailer up the hill. Outhouse is fantastic. Very well equipped with BBQ, some pots and pans etc.. Nice canoe on site. If you like rustic and private this is a great spot!

Had an amazing time here! The site was beautiful, clean, and well-kept — everything you’d want for a relaxing getaway. The amenities were great and made the stay super comfortable. Daric, was absolutely awesome — friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend this spot and would love to come back again!

It’s my 2nd time - great place! Great area, lots of things to do and see!
Campsite is very nice and cozy, Daric provided with so much things like propane, bbq, spare tent and more.
Highly recommend going there!

Ridgeview - Lot 1 gave us some incredible Instagram-worthy moments by the river! The trees on the property offered the perfect balance of shade and sunlight exactly where we wanted it, making it easy to set up our tents and hammock to relax. :)
We really appreciated the tented picnic table that Daric provided - it served as a critter-safe storage space for our food at night and a convenient prep area during the day. It was also located just a few steps away from the propane BBQ grill, which made cooking super easy.
There were two firepits to choose from, and we were provided with plenty of firewood for our stay. The canoe (with paddles and life jackets) and a set of bicycles were a great bonus - such a fun way to explore the area!
Daric stopped by to introduce himself and check in on us, which we really appreciated. He's a great host.
We also liked that the parking spot wasn't right next to the tent site but a little up the way—it gave the campground a more peaceful, secluded vibe.
Overall, a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!
