As always, an incredible experience. The site is pristine and the lake is gorgeous. My favorite aspect is the way the light hits the forest in the opposite shoreline in the morning and in the evening, it is so beautiful.

Our third time staying at one of Kelly’s sites. Each one has been terrific, exactly as pictured. Pit toilets are cleaner and better equipped than some hotels! Kelly is a fantastic host. We really appreciated that she had her husband cut up a tree and bring it to our site for firewood as none was available for purchase and, being on motorcycles, she knew we would not be carrying any.

Our second time stayed at Kelly’s campsite before we headed to another backcountry trip!
It was late checked in from the city but She helped and welcoming!!Campsite was very maintained and clean!! Our favourite part were owl call at night and night sky view!If someone looking for quiet(like backcountry)and beautiful nature scenery then We’d recommend 100% Kelly’s campsite!We already missed Ball lake scenery!

We loved tent camping at Island View. Kelly was a lovely host. She made sure we arrived safely and got everything we needed. She answered all of our questions and provided resources we asked about. I was able to text her leading up to the trip to ask any questions i had.
The directions of getting to the campsite where great.
The tent site we camped on had an amazing view. The site was well maintained, some trees cleared for an amazing view of the lake. Very open, spacious. The portapotty was clean, the fire pit was very nice, picnic table was nice there there too.
To me it was the best campsite for the amount of people we had. We were two families, 4 adults, 4 children and a dog. Everyone had somewhere to run around. There was water access, a path was cleared for it but the kids wanted to just go downhill to the water (just kids being kids). A bit steep for small children but okay and nice to have access to water anyways. We saw big turtle which was very entertaining for kids. Walking trails are beautiful and there is a commmon area for all the campers with beach and playground that kids very much enjoyed.
I kept being amazed at how quiet and peaceful and beautiful it was out there. The lake view and lucious forest were the perfect nature gateway.
I absolutely loved camping at Kelly’s and look forward to coming back here again and convincing more of my friends to come.

Once again, Ball Lake was a wonderful trip! We stayed at the Open View site as we were a large group. The site was well maintained, the host was welcoming and helpful, and the site was beautiful as always! The icing on the cake was the host informing us of the fire ban being lifted first night!! We highly recommend staying at Ball Lake and we plan to return again next year!

We had a great time at Bass Bay. The lake is so peaceful to wake up to and i really enjoyed hearing owls in the night. My dog enjoyed swimming and exploring the trail around the lake. We will definitely be back! Great spot

Secluded site on private land with a view of the pond. Short walking distance to communal beach with water access. Well cared for sites and camping guests. Sites are far enough away from each other that you don’t know anyone else is there.

Campsite was large and clean - big enough for the adults and children and all of our gear. Nice, small lake with a giant turtle who visited the shoreline every evening (and owls and coyotes in the distance at night to remind us that we were surrounded by nature). My partner caught (and released) a fish from our waterfront campsite. There are only 7 sites on this property and all campers were quiet and respectful (6 of 7 sites occupied during our stay). Kelly was wonderful and visited us to make sure everything was okay and communicated well before and throughout our stay. Water (lake) access was a bit steep from the site but still easy enough to get our paddleboards and kayaks in the water, otherwise the beach access point was just down the road. We enjoyed a roughly 5km walk around the lake & beautiful property on the logging roads although we got a bit disoriented once or twice. Not sure how often people venture on the trails but markers on the route may be helpful :) Overall we really enjoyed this stay and would highly recommend to peaceful campers who want to enjoy a beautiful waterfront site in the back-country.

Stayed at Open View for 3 nights, wished I booked the whole week! The lake was beautiful and the view topped it all off. We only got to the site after dark so we were a little lost, but as long as you’re there before dark you’ll be fine. We will be back for sure! Would recommend.

Best camp spot I’ve had in years . Nice and tidy, and away from people. There’s your personal porta potty that’s kept clean and a bench . Fishing was amazing, caught a dozen and all were a pound up (catch and release). Great place and pace to take your kayak, camp site is 30 seconds from the launch. Perfect place for inflatable kayaks or rafts. Highly recommend, and will be coming back next year! Great hosts, and very helpful.

Great place for car camping, really nice and private campgrounds, with clean bathrooms and easy to get to, directions where super clear and the area is very pretty and secluded. Great fishing in the lake, with a nice little beach with a sandy bottom.

This is a gorgeous and very private campsite — the longest on the property — with stunning views of Ball Lake, which is more like a pond covered in Water lilies). While it’s not great for swimming unless you’re comfortable in a pond, it was perfect for paddle boarding, and the scenery was truly beautiful. There’s no designated tent area, so you can set up anywhere, but expect roots and stones; it would be great if part of the site were maintained for easier pitching My biggest concern was the outhouse. As an architect, I visit many construction sites and know that construction-style outhouses need to be cleaned and emptied weekly or at least biweekly to stay usable. To be fair, the owner provided soap, air freshener, and napkins, which was appreciated, and a previous camper mentioned the outhouse was spotless during their stay — so it’s possible mine was just an off week.
There were some trees between our site and the neighboring one, but we could still hear them at night — not a big issue, but worth noting if you’re looking for total silence. The host checked in about an hour after we arrived, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, a fire ban meant we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful fire pit. Overall, it’s a peaceful, scenic spot perfect for paddling and relaxing in nature, and with a few small improvements, it would easily be a 5-star stay.

Kelly was wonderful and she helped us get in to the site when we arrived late. Very responsive and made it super easy to check in and out. The site was great and there was firewood available right at the entrance. Would highly recommend!

Went camping with pur 2 pups on nest hill, it was absolutely beautiful! We got to swim in the lake and even take out our inflatable boat. The site was the perfect size for our 6 person cabin tent and screen tent with just enough roaming room for the pups. We had an amazing time here and are looking forward to future trips here. Thank you Kelly for having us on your beautiful property.

Experience was great! Really clean site upon arrival and the pictures don’t do the site justice! Perfect spot to just get away no service to boot so we were able to shut off from the world and be in the moment! Will be making another visit! We stayed at Kelly’s beachside tent campsite from July 29 to August 2 with our family of four. The site was private, quiet, and right by the water—perfect for fishing and spending time outdoors.
Everything was clean, well-kept, and just as described. It made for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.
