Ball Lake Tent Camping

Another amazing trip to Ball Lake! We’ve been the last few years and keep coming back. We’ve tried a few sites (Turtle and Bass Bay) but tried Island View this year, all were great sites but Island View was our favourite! Very spacious, lots of flat ground, canoe access. Great fishing too. Host is super accommodating! Such a good spot I almost don’t want to share it!!

Beautiful and peaceful campsite with amazing views. The sites were clean and convenient, and the outhouse was very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the nice beach, calm lake, and walking trails—there were tons of beautiful different mushrooms along the way! Overall, a great relaxing getaway. The only thing that would have made it even better would be having firewood available for purchase on-site.

As always, Kelly is a wonderful and accommodating host. We were so happy to stay at Ball Lake again this summer. Kids and adults enjoyed the calming outdoors, we brought our kayaks to enjoy the water and had lovely campfires. We will be back again in future.

This is my second time staying on this property. It's a beautiful spot with large flat campsites a very nice Lake tons of Wildlife and very quiet . If you want to go away from Provincial campgrounds it's a great choice.

Beautiful spot with incredible scenery and a great private setting. Kelly was extremely accommodating and responsive, and made everything easy. Highly recommend Ball Lake — we had a great time and are already looking forward to going back.

Great weekend camping at the Bass Bay campsite. The water access was great for my dogs, and it was nice having the campsite near the trail entrance. There was a picnic table and fire pit which were in great shape.

Large and private site perfect for pitching a tent and enjoying some quiet time. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. Bring warm clothes as the site is thick with tree coverage. Can’t wait to go back next year!!

We completely enjoyed camping at Ball Lake. It was very quiet and peaceful. There was a steady parade of wildlife eg loons, beaver, swans chipmunks, red squirrels and lots of songbirds.

This was my families first time camping here and I cannot say enough amazing things about the place. We stayed on lot 6, bass bay, which has a stunning view and alot of room. From the fishing, to the swimming, the trail walks and watching the sun set and the sun rise it was never a dull moment. So much wild life and the night sky lit up with all the stars over the water was beautiful. As a busy mother it was a real treat waking up at 6 am with my coffee sitting at the water while the kids slept listening to all the animals and watching the beavers while the sun came up. Core memories were definitely made here and I would absolutely love to go again!

We had a truly wonderful stay here and loved every single moment! The accommodations were fantastic and the property is absolutely stunning. The whole property was wonderful including a nice little swing set for little ones near the beach entrance. Cannot wait to come back for another visit.

I loved the spot and the vibe! such piece of mind. Extremely quiet, right on the water, secluded from other sites (we ve got #3). Kelly came to check upon us once, so we had a chance to express our excitement. Our dog was the happiest, stayed in the water 24 h :) bugs are there (ofc) but only just before darkness. Loved the area and the conditions of the sites are exceptional. Definitely coming back! Thanks Kelly!

This is a beautiful spot. It’s private and clean and has everything we could possibly need for a fantastic stay. The only issue: the deer flies! They are excessive on the site (end of July) and we were not equipped with enough bug spray and netting to handle it. Id recommend the site but only if prepared to handle the bugs! Id come back when bug season is over because it is such a gem of a location within driving distance to Bon Echo.

A very cozy and peaceful place to relax with family. The privacy is excellent, and there is no noise from highways or any other distractions that could take away from enjoying the beauty of nature. A perfect spot to disconnect, relax, and spend quality time outdoors.

My cousins and I stayed at the Island view campsite just for a night. The fishing is great, the views were great and there was lots of space to move around and setup. All the sites seemed very private. We had brought our Boler which is a 13ft trailer and some of the hills coming in and out were pretty challenging to climb at times. Everything worked out but if you’re planning on bringing a trailer I’d definitely keep that in mind! Kelly is super friendly and her property is very organized for camping with maps provided. I would definitely stay here again :)

This camping site was perfect!!! Big enough site for 1 very large tent, a smaller tent and 2 cars. It was nice having a view of the lake from our campsite and enough shade to keep from the sun beating down on you. We took our inflatable paddle boat out and toured around the small lake which was very calm and warm enough to go swimming. The host Kelly took her time to drive over to see how we were all doing which was very nice. We will definitely go back to this campsite again

Amazing property, very wild, bring mosquito repellent for sure, and something for chopping wood. Very quiet, lots of birds, frogs and turtles. Will definitely book again.
