The peace and quiet was just what we needed.
Getting back to nature, the lovely water hole and sound of running water adds to this beautiful spot.

How amazing to have a private camp spot to yourself!
The mandatory stop at Calen butchers and the old-school convenient store, and good to go! Plenty of space to have a roam around and the camp spot is just above the creek which flows year-round! Access to the creek easy to find and the swimming hole is lovely!
This is cattle country with plenty of wildlife around, then Cameron's pocket swimming hole and Boulder Creek just down the road too. Loved staying here, will be back!

Awesome spot, easy to find. Creek is amazing.
Yoga pad undercover area was awesome and the tap off the rainwater tank was a nice surprise. We will be back

We love coming at this spot, we came many years ago and my son recently requested staying again!
Its a hidden gem and Laura provides a few things down at the site like a table and an amazing firepit.
10/10 recommend staying here for a beautiful personal camping spot.

Absolutely stunning spot. We loved having the whole place to ourselves with the dogs offlead. The yoga hut was great to setup underneath so we didn’t have to put out the awning.

Lovely spot private, the creek access was a little overgrown took a minute to find a good path but once we did it was perfect!

Tucked away beside a lovely creek, this campsite offers the perfect mix of nature and comfort. It’s quiet and secluded, with the relaxing sound of running water in the background. The site has everything you need, including a sturdy shelter and access to running water. A fantastic spot for a restful getaway!

It was a beautiful place to stay I opted to stay 2 nights however the first night I was unlucky as a neighbouring property must have had a party planned for that night and the bass did not stop until 3am the next night however was peaceful I camped tucked up close to the yoga platform/hut area and did find that sections of the road were visible however depending on setup would be no issue for most also a thriving population of Ulysses butterfly that are next to impossible to get a clear photograph of with the wings open as I spent hours trying to give up in vain

Laura has a true slice of paradise here. Even though it’s on a bitumen road it’s really private and quiet. The undercover area and fire pit make camping that bit easier - and the beautiful creek to swim in tops it off. Highly recommend it ☺️

Great rustic campground offering peace and quiet. We enjoyed our stay after the busy caravan parks on the coast ‘Paradise by the creek’ gave us the opportunity to unwind and relax. We used this as a base to check out Finch Hatton gorge which was a beautiful hike. We also walked up the road to Ballentynes strawberry farm to PYO berries day. We had a lovely couple of days. We had a great time at this beautiful camping spot. Was private, surrounded by mountains/bush and right on the creek which was great for swimming and kayaking. An awesome spot for us and the dog to explore. Would definitely recommend and will return.

Easy to find and very private despite backing onto a road. Creek is spectacular and the undercover area and the fire pit are definitely a bonus.
Tent was fine on the slight slope with just a mat under one end of the mattress.

This beautiful block took me straight back to what it was like camping as a kid, beautiful mountains surrounding, the foresty bank, the pumpkin patches, the bamboo, the beautiful sounds of the creek which is you can see from the fire fit when enjoying a coffee.
Everything about this place was perfect! secluded and peaceful, nothing but paradise🌿

This place is paradise! The shelter was an added bonus during the rainy weather.
We found it easier to access the creek straight out the front of the camp as the other track was a bit overgrown. The creek is shallow & cold & gorgeous. Rock socks are your friend here.
We will definitely be back.

Laura’s Hipcamp is a very comfortable spot beside a crystal clear running creek. We enjoyed the ability to be able to park right beside a large covered area which we used to relax under for the evening. Although in close proximity to a local road, the site is well protected by trees and a large garden bed, and virtually no traffic through the evening. Having no phone reception was a pleasant change from our busy lifestyle.
