Nestled in the quiet serene hills of Bloomsbury this 12-acre property boasts the true meaning of what camping in nature is all about. Set up camp, sit back and enjoy the rolling views of the Cathu State Forest Mountain Ranges.
Watch the local bird and wildlife that visit daily whilst throwing a line in the stocked dam to try and catch some fish or red claw. Put a kayak in or even go for a dip if you are keen!
Alternatively, the property poses as the perfect base camp to explore the local area. Stroll the beautiful Midge Point Beach, or even get out on the water and take advantage of some great local fishing and crabbing spots. There is also The Midge Point Tavern if you are thirsty or wanting a great pub feed!
For those country music lovers, we are located less than a 1km walking distance from the famous Dittman Bull Pit, hosting this years Country Fest QLD 2024 over the Easter Long Weekend, 30-31st of March. Featuring Morgan Evans, Lee Kernaghan and James Johnston just to name a few among many great others. Grab your ticket and just stroll in to enjoy some fantastic entertainment and return to a peaceful campsite OR for those who don’t like big crowds, simply sit back and enjoy listening to these great acts from the privacy of your camping spot!

-Off-Grid Camping; there are no toilets or showers. There is access to water.
-Access to the property can be via 2wd or 4wd to all areas depending on weather, please ask if you are concerned prior to entry.
-Pets are allowed when supervised or on lead.
-Caravans are welcome but please be sure to access the property from the Bruce Hwy End of Midge Point Road to allow adequate and safe turning upon property entry to driveway.
