Lots of space, beautiful creek. Composting toilet, nice host and good location. Consider if it's wet and you only have 2wd, couple of slippery spots.

Beautiful scenery and quiet location. To garentuee access I would suggest 4x4 when wet as it can get a bit muddy. Plenty of spots for both tent and camper van camping
Would definitely come back again when it's dry again

We had a lovely time taking our 2 young girls on their first camping trip. Highland Haven is a pretty & relaxing spot, and the host Elinor is lovely. With only about half a dozen sites, it doesn't get too crowded either. We had a very nice Easter weekend at Highland Haven.

We were intimately unable to stay and did not get the chance to explore the site, so I will keep this brief. Elinor was wonderful in offering a refund, and had been so polite and respectful in our dealings with her that we elected she keep the money, despite not completing our stay.
Elinor has the mannerisms of a wonderful host, and we are very excited to stay at the property in the future, when life allows us to do so. 🙏

Elinor’s land is a beatiful and very quiet camping spot. Easy to find and with a clean access (also for non 4wd). We had a lateish arrival and it wasn’t a problem, owner responded quickly with the info requested and provide the fire pit. We were the only guest that night, but looks like that the camping spot are thought to provide some privacy in case of other guests. I would recommend Elinor’s place.

The camp grounds were nice and easy to find, and accessible in our Kia Carnival. They were nice and flat with lots of tree canopy for our tent and the composting toilet was clean.
We enjoyed our stay here and it suited our needs perfectly.

The toilet was up on a stand in a tiny camp tent which felt unstable and was full of bugs. The site itself was a pretty small clearing surrounded by giant trees (felt a little dangerous in the heavy rain) and was full of jumping ants plus easily spotted trapdoor spider holes around. The road noise was pretty significant and it felt very expensive for almost no amenities compared to other sites we visited.

Lovely location but unfortunately when we stayed it had rained beforehand and we were eaten alive my mosquitoes yes we did have spray two types but didn’t help and the trains run through the night plus a surprising amount of road noise
The drop box toilet was a tent and a pipe with a toilet seat on top clean tidy and not a problem if the seat was normal hight there was a step provided but didn’t help making it unusable
Booked and paid for two nights stayed one such a shame never met the owners

Tent camped for three days and loved it here. It’s a beautiful, safe space. Handy having the cool water of the creek, bin, compost toilet and town nearby. Managed to watch a show on my phone with one bar. Great location to base myself for visiting the coast, Montville and Buderim.

A lovely peaceful spot. We were there mid week so there was no one else around. Very close to beaches and shops but you would think that you were miles away from civilisation as it was so quiet. The toilet facility was extremely clean and well taken care of. We really enjoyed our stay.

Omg what a find. Totally gorgeous camp site, lots of shady spots amongst the trees along with lovely grassed areas for kids to play. Would be a fantastic place to come with a few friends or family but the trees break it up enough that there are also quiet little corners which feel private. Heaps of kindling around for your fire and the site is serviced by a clean and functional drop pit WC in a loo tent at the far end of the site. Loads of wildlife and birds plus a little creek to cool your feet on a hot day. Couple of excellent cafes in Eudlo and Chenrezig Buddhist retreat just down the road. Have already recommended to a few of my camping friends and 100% will be back soon to soak up the lush calm vibes. If you like sites like frogmouth at Amamour or Belli Glades, you’ll love this one.

I loved my stay in the Wee House. The detail of the interior design is exquisite and everything works well. There's a handbook to refer to which was helpful, especially for my first time using a chemical toilet. The property is beautiful with lots of birdsong and plenty of space to absorb the handful of tent and van campers (we were all at the same festival). I look forward to returning.
