Tranquility
Julia’s place is just out of Dubbo. Close to shops and attractions but your own little private paradise.
Beautiful spot on the Macquarie very peaceful and picturesque. Very friendly and helpful hosts. 10 out of 10.

Fabulous camping spot
So thrilled to have found such a beautiful spot to camp. The grounds and river were stunning. We felt very welcome and safe (camping with kids). Can’t wait to come back one day. Thank you so much for having us.

5 star hosts & picturesque spot!
Len & Julia are fantastic hosts. The camping area is incredibly well-maintained with lovely, soft grass (we were bare-foot most of the time), a couple of power points, and a great view of the river.
We were warmly welcomed on arrival, shown round the property and given the option of choosing our site.
There are spotlessly clean toilets and a kitchen available for use, we chose to bring our pop-up shower tent and, although they collect their own rain water, Julia and Len were happy for us to use all we needed.
Our little dog loved it, and although a little cranky with Skye (Julia's Lab puppy) initially, they got on well. So much so, Skye would come down each morning to greet us and see where Chalkie was.
One evening we enjoyed a beer on the deck with Julia, Len and the kids. The kids even left a note for the Eater bunny to say we were staying at the property, and we woke up to some little chocolate eggs left in the toilet area for us.
Oh - and if you ask nicely, Julia might just make you one of her fantastic barista made coffees!
All in all a great stay, with a lovely family - we couldn't recommend it highly enough!

Camping with a group.
Julia & Lyn great couple very easy going let us choose our own camping spot and help us with firewood.
Location is great overlooking the river with tree line is a picture perfect in the morning.
The Place have toilets and a kitchen, if you have cold stuff to store in the fridge.
I highly recommend this and will visit again.

Beautiful dog friendly spot
Beautiful spot. About 10 mins drive max from the town but feels like your another world away. Very clean modern toilet facilities. It was my dog and I and Julia and Len went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I booked last minute and arrived shortly after and they were very accommodating. You will love this place it has everything, so relaxing and yet a short drive from the town if you want it. I highly recommend and would definitely return
