Julia's site was an absolute dream - the privacy, the serenity, the gorgeous sunsets over the river, the lush lawn underfoot and immaculate bathroom and kitchen facilities. But what really put the place over the top for us was the generosity of Julia as a host - she premade the firepit for us and delivered a wheelbarrow of complimentary firewood to our site, she shared her time, her fabulous tips around Dubbo, let our daughter use her family's trampoline, sandpit and swings and let us run rampant in her citrus orchard, picking as many lemons, oranges, mandarins and tangelos we wanted. We'll definitely be back, again and again!

Camping paradise
It will be hard to go back to another campsite!
What an awesome spot. The grass is unbelievable and so good for the kids to run wild on, the river is right there and we caught fish straight off the little jetty. The kitchen and toilet facilities are very good and the fire pit and seating area are on another level. We came for the zoo but will be back to camp here. Julia and Len are the ultimate hosts and have created a little bit of camping paradise.

We had the best long weekend at Julia and Len’s place. They are amazing hosts and went above and beyond. Our young family had a great time fishing and exploring their property.
The campground was spotless and had the most gorgeous bindi free grass and amazing fire pit with an abundance of firewood.
The amenities were spotless and just a short walk away.
Dubbo was less than a 10 minute drive away for anything you may have forgotten.
Would highly recommend and will be back for sure.

Top Spot on the Macca!
Thanks to Julia and Len for providing the space for such a special and memorable camping trip!
Julia and Len are very accommodating and have the perfect setup for a comfortable stay.
The grassy area overlooking the Macquarie River was immaculate and soft under foot, a true testament the to hard work and maintenance the hosts put in for their guests.
Our 3 year old daughter loves camping as much as us, and this property provided the perfect mix of nature camp with some easy access to necessities including toilet and kitchenette, as well as power close to camp to charge or run accessories needed.
Firewood and fire pit for the cooler nights was perfect!
Julia made us a beautiful barista style coffee and a babyccino for our daughter, who got along so well with their kids they couldn’t stop playing!
We really enjoyed their company and could have stayed for another few weeks if we had the time!
We will be back.
