Beautiful oak grove.
Very beautiful, remote and quiet. Beastly hot day, but cool and comfortable night. There are two locations across the street from each other. The signage is confusing. We went to the wrong camp but Cody was very nice and didn’t make us move!!
What a special experience!!! Camping on a real working ranch blew away our expectations. Cody was so helpful and welcoming and he checked in with us every night. This will be one experience we will not soon forget and we will absolutely be back.
We had the best time...
We had the BEST time camping at Jolon RV. From the very first day, Cody and his family welcomed us and were SO nice. We stayed during the week and pretty much had our run of the place. Our boys ran wild and free and we hiked, swam in the ponds, wandered around the property and had an amazing time. The sites were very clean and had an outdoor restroom and shower available. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend camping here!
Our camp site was spacious and during the week there weren’t many other campers so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Cody was very helpful, and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We saw some cows which the kids loved, and there was a sand pile with toys and some playground equipment that they also enjoyed. It is near Nacimiento lake which is a nice place to cool off on a hot day (or boat if that’s your thing). It was really hot during our stay so we did a few day trips to the coast which really isn’t that far away. We would definitely stay here again.
We loved the experiem
We had a fantastic time at Cody's ranch. We took full advantage of the zipline, outdoor shower and even practiced our roping skills. We had the entire RV side of the campground to ourselves, so it was very quiet and private. We enjoyed watching the cattle come through each night with their calves and even a couple of bulls. Everything was very clean and there is even a flush toilet. Even though it was very hot, all spots have plenty of shade. We didn't get a chance to meet Cody, but did meet Dawn and Lester who were wonderful people and hosts. We would DEFINITELY go back. Lake San Antonio's water level was very low so we ended up spending a day at Lake Nacimiento which was nice. Most everything was closed due to Covid, but we found a nice fairly private swimming hole to hang out at and cool off. Cody is making lots of improvements on the property and it's really beautiful.
