We adored our spots in the forest tent area with electricity. Spot 98 was especially great, very private at the end of the campground and still got plenty of sunlight which is much needed in this cool coastal area. A bit of a walk to the bathrooms but they put some porta potties nearby in case of emergency

This campsite was pretty loud, with a group of folk playing karaoke until late at night, and loud music until the early morning as they partied and drank. For all the extensive rules they make you sign and initial when you check in, it seems there’s no actual enforcement mechanism for any of them. Probably makes this a good spot to throw a party, not a great spot to enjoy a relaxing night in nature — so probably not a great destination for folks headed to nearby state and national parks.

The bathrooms were filthy. The showers were also dirty and coin operated. Our site was dirty with previous guests garbage in the fire pit and napkin and food wrappers throughout. There was an additional charge for WiFi, the free WiFi advertised was for a one time 30 minute period. Cell phone coverage was only available on or near the highway.

Our site was in a tent only part of the rv resort with great views of their onsite pond. A local river otter visited everyday during our stay which was a great surprise for our kids. Bathrooms and showers were just a few minutes walk away and always stocked up and cleaned.

The tent site was shaded and well maintained. Portapotties are cleaned on Thursdays and were very clean. A small creek runs right behind the sites. A few mosquitoes but not aggressive and easily discouraged with insect repellent. Water spigot at each tent site and it tasted good.

This is a large site set amongst the trees. I had a tent site with a stream behind me and a pond in front with a muskrat swimming about! I'm not a fan of big camp sites due to the fire pit smoke and the noise and the majority being made up of RV's. . But the tent sites were set up and above and around the road from the RV sites and were big enough and private enough that it turned out to be a great place to camp! PortaPotty's were well maintained and flush toilets could be accessed back down the road for those who prefer them.

The site is beautiful and secluded, far away from the RV area that seemed quite busy. The only draw back is that the bathrooms are far... and there are only porta-potties right next to this tent area. The main bathrooms were very clean and with lots of stalls.

As a tent site it is too bright with the light on a utility pole. If you’re in an RV with blackout curtains it could work. It’s at the end of the row of sites so nobody on one side but there is a house across the way. I’m too used to more wilderness camping.

We got lucky with a great spot, it was large enough to fit our truck and tent with lots of room for more. Some spots are a bit smaller than others and sites are close to one another but that wasn’t a problem for us. Loved the bathrooms and option for a warm shower (a quarter a minute). Campgrounds itself is well maintained and dog friendly. Would definitely come back.

WHERE ARE ALL THE ELK?! Not a single elk at the elk campground Also, It would’ve been helpful to inform newly arriving guests about the showers requiring quarters. It would’ve alabo been helpful to offer some sort of system, say, a coin machine where guests can exchange bills for quarters at any time so guests don’t have to wait from Saturday afternoon until Monday to shower as there are no stores in this town. Also there was ZERO WiFi so plan ahead. Also, because it bears repeating absolutely ZERO elk on or near the entire property. Not even one. The entire weekend. Also, the campsites are so small and everyone’s packed like sardines right on the road. the campsites are just in each other’s face. You could pass the sugar to the tent right next to you. No exaggeration the family three campsites away we’re talking to me about my pet from the campsite Not a good experience. Not worth $46/night To note, just a few miles up the road is Emerald forest where I paid $36/night, had free WiFi, a 24/7 coin machine, arcade, pet friendly and guest services open 7 days a week. Their guests are welcomed with lush surroundings between campsites giving guests the privacy they deserve and pay for.

I leave very positive reviews or no review. It’s very unusual for me to leave a negative review. Positive: The paperwork was nicely organized and provided info on nearby towns - grocery stores, gas, restaurants, activities, etc. The property had a nice grassy area. If you have a large RV in a standard spot, it would be fine. Negatives: site 93 was misrepresented online. (Other sites were tiny too.) The photo looked great and shows the space for 3-4 sites, not 1. I paid a bit more to get a peaceful, forest site, but there was not a map. Definitely misrepresented. It was a parking spot at best. So small there was no way to fit a tent and a car. I was in a pop-up camper. The metal fire ring had recently been moved so I had a place to park. Ashes as I stepped out of the back of my camper where the ring was previously. It appeared they had decreased the site size. Trash in the site. I started tossing the trash. The guy in the next site told us to be careful because there were hooks and fishing line in the site. His children had been playing in our site before we arrived. When he lit a fire in his site, we had to close our windows. The smoke was so close it flowed right into our windows. When I checked in I was asking about the site size/privacy before seeing the site and received a very rude and curt response. He was very defensive so I was not surprised to see the tiny site. In the morning, I left as soon as I could. Not a good feel.

The campsite was nice. It wasn't too jammed together. The only issue I have is that I booked on Hipcamp and it's an actual campground. Wouldn't be a big deal if they posted the campground rules but they didn't. Just lucky they didn't notice my hammock till the next morning cause otherwise I would of been screwed! I also paid $5 extra for a campsite with electricity but I couldn't get site 100 to work. Otherwise great friendly campground surrounded by majestic land!
