This was a BEAUTIFUL camp site. It was pretty remote and there’s very little service but the trees are amazing the bathroom is clean and it is very upkept. I’d be cautious with larger vehicles just because is pretty narrow driving in. Over all 10/10

Loved the campsite, and there are several other really great spots in the same location. Site 8 would be great for someone who wants shade and sun for solar in the same spot. Our spot, site 2, was very shaded and nice and cool throughout the day, and we were able to place our backup. All great spots in this location. We were a little worried we were in the wrong place as we drove in, since there are a number of what seem to be older, permanent RVs along the winding road into the campground. We really enjoyed our stay: very quiet, level spots; clean bathrooms; a hot shower; and very kind guests and hosts. Would come back again!

Great site, space for a hammock (w/ appropriate straps) and tent. We had a not so great night for external reasons but the site is extremely quiet, beautiful and great for wildlife viewing! Leave no trace :)

I have no idea why this was posted as being close to the bathroom. It’s one of the furthest AND the hill to the bathroom is steep. I chose this site because side I have a disabled family member. His mobility scooter couldn’t make it up the hill, so he had to drive to the bathroom each time. The bathroom itself is perfectly acceptable for a campground. Yes, you may see critters and dirt. It’s a campground bathroom, after all. We’re tent campers, so having running water and real toilets is always a luxury. Take TP, because it does run out. The site itself was one of the smallest camp sites I’ve ever experienced. We paid for an extra car, and were fortunate that the campsite next to us allowed us to park our car at their site, otherwise, we wouldn’t have been enough room. This site is also has two flat surfaces, one up a small, steep hill from the main area. Be prepared to walk the hill to get water. There’s no spigot at the site. The trail to the creek was nice, and absolutely gorgeous. The noise echos throughout the campground. You can hear everything from all around. I recommend not arriving at night. That was definitely a mistake on our part. The road is sketchy at best. We heeded the other reviews and only brought vehicles that could handle the challenging terrain. All in all, I’d camp here again (without my disabled family member) if I waited until the last minute to book a place, but I find the price to be much too expensive for the space.

Decent camping site

We had site #3- We had the driest spot, there was two or three of these- a lot of sunlight, not too much shade and not much privacy. There wasn’t not much available upon short notice but checking other camping sites that were booked, it would’ve probably be better in the other sites under the forest trees than where we stayed at. FYI- it’s way up in mountains, with very narrow roads, few potholes and no service. Overall, it was an interesting place to check out.

Gorgeous views, stay on trails

The views were gorgeous being right among the the redwoods. I picked Site 3 because it's on the bottom edge so you have some distance from most of the other sites, which it totally had. But to be fair, that made the bathroom walk a real slog uphill. We stayed for a long weekend and it was a great home base from which to go adventuring. There was poison oak off the paths so know what that looks like and be especially careful setting up camp at night. I had a pair of gloves so it wasn't an issue for us

Great Stay, but Bedding Needs Imp

We had a great glamping experience overall. The campsite had a wonderful atmosphere, and the tent was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax. The location and overall setup made for a very enjoyable stay. The only area for improvement would be the bedding. While the bed itself was comfortable, the sheets and comforter could have been cleaner. There were quite a few visible spots and stains on the comforter, which took away from an otherwise excellent experience.

The site was very dusty, the approach road was difficult to drive to and not maintained. There was no place to dispose trash. Lot of trash bins outside property had notices from waste management. The restroom was not marked anywhere. Tried to call and find out but no cell signal.

The campgrounds are very nice with a rugged charm. The paved road around the campgrounds is very narrow. The bathroom is clean but has a lot of bugs, but it is nature! The bathroom is close but an uphill walk from this spot. A few tips for people for this specific site 4A. We parked and car camped at the site right by the 4A sign (there’s a picnic table there) , but realized the next morning we were in the wrong spot and we should have gone past the sign several feet to the other picnic table under the redwoods. We were in the grassy area with weeds! The real spot looks much flatter and no grass under the redwood trees. Please also be advised the terrain may be uneven, we were cooking with one of those Korean pans and it kept slipping off the stove so we had to add some cardboard and other materials to even it out to cook. Since there’s no Internet at the site, I would advise to screenshot the campsite map and pics of the campsite beforehand.

Better value than what I expected. Campsite was located in a redwood forest with trees all around. It was truly spectacular. It was great to have a hot shower and toilet facilities available. Not overly crowded although there are some people around. Can't really ask for more when it comes to camping in a redwood forest. They did a great job. The road at the campsite is a bit narrow and a little steep, but most vehicles should be able to handle it with no problem.

Pros: Great campsite, remote, quiet, rustic. It’s a beautiful property nestled in the redwoods. Host Jing was helpful and responded promptly. Notes: Highly recommend arriving during daylight hours, as the private road in is no joke. Some reviews indicate family friendliness, and I agree (especially if you want them to unplug, as there is no cell service), as long your kids are old enough to avoid falling down a hill and/or into a poison oak patch. Ours is not quite, so we will have to wait a little while to return.

Great trees but steep narrow road

Overall we had a good time. The site was good for a camper but for tents is not that level. The 1 lane road (driveway) into the campground was steep, narrow and full of pot-holes. Trailers also can have touch time with curves. The loop had a tree with a large low hanging branch making it impossible for a camper to get through. So we took the same direction in as we did out of the loop to drive out. The climb up the steep narrow road was nerve racking. If there hasn't been accidents on that road before, I'd be surprised. If my wife and kids knew of that road ahead of time they wouldn't have let us go. Fortunately, we made it in, had a good time and made it out.

Loved this spot! I only had one night here but it was the perfect little retreat. Easy to get to, while still feeling away from it all. I stayed in site 7, a secluded walk in spot among the redwoods. It was exactly what I was hoping for, quiet and peaceful.

Poor amenities and maintenance for

We stayed here with our family for two nights over the weekend. The redwoods and overall scenery are beautiful and peaceful, which we really enjoyed. Unfortunately, the campsite itself did not match the price. Our site (8A) was extremely small and only had one broken, unusable picnic table. Friends staying at site 12 had no picnic table at all, and their site wasn’t even clearly marked. There was also no nearby trash disposal, no close water tap, and the bathroom facilities were far away and in poor condition. At around $100 per night, we expected much better amenities and maintenance for the cost.

The campsite is beautiful! It is very rustic! I don’t mind that at all, but if you are looking for a very well kept, beautiful bathroom, all groomed… this is not for you. This is a place to be very close to nature, it has a beautiful hike, the spaces are surrounded by trees, absolutely amazing! My only disappointment it was that on a Sunday, they decided the do some shopping trees and chip wood with heavy machinery making a horrible loud noise from 9am to 6pm no stop. It was absolutely ridiculous! For the future, the owners should close the camping grounds to do maintenance like this.

Beautiful property, quiet and well maintained. The host was responsive and the amenities were perfect for what we needed. Warm water in showers, clean bathrooms, private sites. The beds were comfortable, but if you are afraid of bugs make sure you bring bug spray. Also bring a mat because there is a lot of mud. Hike down to the private creek, it is so worth it!

The tent was perfect and the beds were comfortable. This site is very close to the toilets. The on-site hike was lovely and my daughter enjoyed seeing the banana slugs on the way to the waterfall. The only downside was a nearby campsite was very loud and didn't follow the rules about quiet time or campfires.

Site2 Shade,Drive In, Near Bathroom

My boyfriend and I visited this site for the first time. The host provided detailed directions to the site if you’re coming from the South, but we were arriving from the North so the GPS took us straight there. Roads were narrow and had multiple pot holes so I would be careful if you’re bringing a trailer or low ride car. I would definitely recommend a 4WD but you can make a 2WD work. The site was about 5 minutes from the restroom as listed and the restrooms were clean (and better than a porta potty). No trash service so don’t expect a trash can at your site and a water spigot is at the restrooms. Also there is no cellular service at the campgrounds. Other than that, we had a great time and we loved site 3! It was just enough space for the two of us and the campsite is beautiful. There are trails you can take to visit the creek. I would recommend!
