**PLEASE READ** Welcome to The Hideaway at The World Famous Hole in The Wall, a truly one-of-a-kind escape in rainforest like setting nestled in the heart of Northern California’s redwood country just up the road from the iconic Drive Through tree, The Grandfather Tree, and Confusion Hill. This is a working farm and there are permanent residents on site who are friendly and available if you need help! The property is under construction and there is some debris we are cleaning up. Please don't be discouraged when you pull in, the sites themselves are lovely. There are 2 off leash, and very friendly dogs. We do have a pen we can put them in when asked. The pen is by the driveway, and they will bark when someone pulls in or out. Within a 10 minute walk from the property is the namesake attraction—a stunning swimming hole carved into the rock wall by dynamite decades ago, ( Google hole in the wall Leggett) now transformed into a refreshing oasis complete with cascading waterfalls. Creek color, level, and clarity vary depending on season! The creek is visible from some sites, but not all. Lounge on redwood decks, picnic under the trees, play on the worlds biggest home made giant cylinder chimes in the sound garden or explore the surrounding fruit trees and lush forest paths, tire swings, or a game of horse shoes. Amenities include, invigorating outdoor hot showers, new picnic tables, and easy access right off the 101. Whether you're seeking solitude, a community vibe, or a bit of both, this is your chance to experience Northern California in a truly unique way. Come for the waterfall, stay for the magic. P.s. to get here type in "Hole in The Wall, Leggett, California." On Google maps or "Tan Oak Park" we're directly across the street from Tan Oak Park, there is a big blue water barrel by the mailbox. DO NOT TAKE BELL SPRINGS ROAD, JUST STAY ON THE 101 WE ARE LOCATED SO CONVENIENTLY ON THE 101 Follow blue arrows once you cross the big bridge.

#6 The Overlook Camp Site

84%
(16)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 4 · Vehicles under 40 ft
The Overlook sits at the top of the campground overlooking the other sites and is surrounded by trees. You have a private picnic table, and a deck with lounge chairs. There’s a canvas tent you can use to camp inside of (just bring sleeping pads and bags), and you’re also welcome to bring your own tent as there is space to pitch a tent or two. As the parking area for this site is not that level so leveling blocks are recommended if you plan to sleep in a small RV or vehicle. The portable toilets are close by, as well as the communal amenities block that includes a smoker, a grill, an outdoor shower, an outdoor sink, and spring water for drinking. For larger groups we recommend booking this site along with Fire Side which is the closest camp next door. RV allowance- allow only small RVs, like campervans, tear drop trailers, and cars.

#4 Rainforest Waterfall Camp

(14)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 4 · Vehicles under 40 ft
Big giant site over looking the waters below, fall asleep to the sounds of the water below. Lots of room to set up multiple tents or camper van/ trailer. Our preferred site. There's a view of a waterfall here in spring time!  We are in the process of building a pathway around the site, but for the time being, guest from Mossy Rock and Orchard will have to walk close to this site to access the community amenities + bathrooms. We are defining the trail behind this site to clear it!

Garden Side

100%
(3)
RV/tent site · Sleeps 8 · Vehicles under 44 ft
This site is spacious and level with beautiful views of the hills! A large tree shades this site in the afternoon. There is a massive fire ring, comfortable chairs and loungers, as well as a new picnic table under a shade structure.  Can fit 5-10 tents comfortably! RV access: small RVs, like campervans, tear drop trailers less than 16 feet), and cars. No water hookup. This is a bit of a walk to the community area where water and the porta-potty is located. We recommend bringing your own water so you don't have to carry it from the community area. Or you can also request that we bring in spring water before your stay! We are in the process of bringing in another porta-potty at this site. While this site is apart from all the others, it is near the working cannabis farm, so there will be people working there.
