What a wonderful space and amazing host! The bathhouse is clean and roomy. The camping area is spacious and well cared for. Paul is such a kind host too!

Nice little spot just up the street from the main drag in Hot Springs. Paul has set up a welcoming little retreat for a camper, including a lovely "boathouse" with bathroom, hot shower, deck overlooking the opposite mountain, and other amenities like a grill and fridge. This is just a little ways off 25/70, so you will get light road noise, but it didn't bother us. We still heard the birds chirping happily and bugs chittering as we watched the sun set.

It's a large beautiful piece of land with a really nice bath house. If I'm ever camping in this area again, this will be the first place I look

This is a beautiful little spot just outside of Hot Springs! The drive to town isn’t far, and what a great town it is! We had food at the local stops, went to the natural hot springs for a soak, and saw some beautiful scenic views on our drives around.
Paul is a great host, super responsive and helpful. The bath house/cottage area isn’t quite finished, but it’s functional and the shower is nice and hot! Definitely will be returning here in the future if we pass back through 😊
The hook ups are right in the middle, and WiFi was decent (little to no coverage with AT&T and Verizon)
It did rain on us and it got pretty muddy, but it sounds like Paul will be covering the entire driveway with gravel soon!

Hot Springs Oasis
Paul was a great host! We booked our stay less than 24 hours in advance and he was super fast to communicate with us. The campsite was a bit noisy with the traffic from the road and the neighbors’ dogs but super close to Hot Springs. There is not a lot of shade but we found a spot under a tree to set up our tent in the grass.

Paul's camping spot is beautiful. Even though he wasn't on site he stayed in touch with us via text to make sure everything was okay, and he arranged for a neighbor to check on us as were setting up. We stayed 3 nights in our 20' travel trailer. Getting to the campsite from the main road was easy. It's close enough to the road that we could hear motorcycles and trucks, but not so close that it disturbed us. Hooking up was a bit tricky because as mentioned in other reviews, the sewer hook-up and water/electric hook-ups are farther away than usual. Actually, they are on opposite sides of the campsite, sewer on one side, and water and electric on the other side. Luckily we had long enough hoses that we worked it out. Another thing to be aware of is the sewer hook-up is about 12+ inches above the ground. So it takes even more slack in the sewer line to manually raise it so gravity gets the job done. Still. This is a great location. Very scenic, and close to the town of Hot Springs. Thank you Paul!

Overall our experience was positive because we used the place for a family reunion, but we were uncomfortably close to another rv and the pictures did not describe the site well. Although it has a pretty view, the amenities were unfinished including an active construction site immediately next to the camping pad with dangerous materials exposed. Would not recommend this site for families or if you desire privacy but it is close to town and the sunsets were lovely.

Paul’s patch of mountain paradise was an absolute pleasure for our family during our stay in Hot Springs! We managed to get our 33’ Class C MotorHome up the little hill and in with little effort. Recommend coming in the daylight hours as the hookups are a bit counterintuitive. Be sure to have extensions for water and electric too as the plug ins are a bit further then most places we’ve stayed. Paul is in the midst of building as bathroom/laundry room on the grounds as well! 10 minutes from town, and gorgeous Mountain View’s (the cows grazing on the hills and the fireflies lighting up the trees were Beautiful!) Recommend to anyone looking to extend their stay and enjoy the area at HALF the price of the Campground in town! Thanks Paul for the fabulous memories!!
