Deer run river site

Deer Run

Deer Run is a beautiful camp site right next to river. It's wonderful for tent camping. Great views, private and truly primitive. John is a wonderful host, offers coffee, eggs and plenty of firewood. See for yourself.

Slab rock

The perfect spot for my Rustic Trail Teardrop. My dog and I had an awesome stay. We were escorted in by John and his wife. I never saw anyone for days. Very primitive and private site. I will definitely be back.

A relaxing weekend by the river

My husband and I had such a relaxing time by the river. Just such a beautiful spot, we had a wonderful weekend. John and his wife were so accommodating and friendly. We fished, relaxed and did some light hiking. The site was grassy and open which we loved. Really enjoyed being able to listen to the river as we slept. Will definitely be returning! Our dog also gives the site 5 stars as he loved roaming around and playing in the river!

Riverside Camping VIP

We felt like this was one of the best campsites we’ve been to in a long time. Right on the New River some very great views. Wonderful spot with plenty of trees for hammock camping and nice clear spots for tent camping. The location felt private and secluded. John and his wife were very nice and friendly hosts. I will definitely be coming back here to camp again and probably try some of the other spots.
