Perfect!
This is one of my favorite places to stay it's super peaceful. The sites are clean and nicely spaced apart. John is a great host...I'll go back again and again!

Hawks Nest
Love this place
The sites are clean and natural, very far away from each other. Might see one person a day if that. The owners are awesome, being huge loads of fire wood and farm fresh eggs super cheap. Very accommodating and very friendly.. the river is awesome and nice and slow moving with some deep and shallow spot.. decent fishing but just an awesome experience

Deer run river site
Nice and private spot on the river. Really quiet. Fresh eggs and firewood delivered to the site. Will come back.

Slab rock
Slab rock was awesome! John and Sally are great host and great people too. The land and river are both beautiful. We stayed at the slab rock site,which has a big open field and a big rock jutting out into the river. This is the perfect fishing and tubing spot! We cant wait to try some of the other sites on the property. We're itching to get back there and only came home yesterday.

Deer run river site
Serene Riverfront Camping
Deer Run was a great campsite! We stayed from Thursday - Sunday. It was lengthy and right along the river, so we set up 3 tents of varying sizes in spots along the bank (1, 4, and 5 person tents). This site had nice tree coverage as well as an open grass area where we set up cornhole (aka baggo). We had our own access points into the river, which we enjoyed each day with our floaty tubes and just stepping in to swim or cool off. Our point of the river had both deep & shallow spots, so it was nice and versatile. Sometimes you’ll see folks from somewhere down the river kayaking/canoeing up and past the site, having a blast😊. The site is nicely covered with trees/plants along the bank, giving privacy. John was such a gracious host. He was very responsive, happily greeted us on arrival along with 2 beautiful dogs, guided us to our site, and delivered firewood to us as we ran low. We loved this site and had a great time! I absolutely recommend Deer Run, especially if you’re looking for some good water access!
