Stargazer Dome #2
We received a warm and friendly welcome to the campground. The dome is beautifully appointed inside and very comfortable for sleeping. Picnic table and fire ring outside are in great shape. Benches around the fire ring are a little unstable, but we had some camp chairs with us and used those. We made good use of the washing station for our dishes over at the bathroom building, which was a short walk from the dome.

Beautiful property
Many different options: tent sites (rustic or refined), cabins, RV hookups and more. Everything seemed well maintained. Sits on 150 acres of property, which includes several hiking trails. Where we stayed was a tent site on a large open field. The sites were in the tree line though, so they were shaded. The open field was perfect for viewing the Milky Way!

T-11) Tent Site- Park at Site
When I arrived, I was immediately greeted and shown to my site. I loved my site as it had a great deal of privacy. One side faced the woods, and the other side faced an open field. It was wonderfully quiet. The shower and restroom were clean. There was ice and wood available. There were other campers there, but there was plenty of space between sites. I did not take advantage of it, but there were trails that I could have hiked.

Stargazer Dome #1
Great camping experience!
Our stay was great! We stayed in Dome #1 and the dome was perfect. It was decorated so nicely and such a fun glamping experience. The facilities were also some of the best we've had with camping. They had a couple bathrooms with full showers. They also had an outdoor sink you could use to wash out pots/pans and even had a washer/dryer onsite too. There ended up being a pretty bad storm over one of the nights but the dome kept us completely dry. There were a couple different trails from the campsite which was nice. We ended up doing the blue trail that was about 2.8 miles. It was definitely more of a moderate hike as the trail got pretty narrow at times. We will definitely keep this campsite in mind for future camping and recommend others to try it out as well!
