We are located in the sunny rolling hills of North Florida. Our land has been a watermelon and pecan farm, a dog training facility, and home to the rare breed of Pure Puerto Rican Paso Fino horses. Now available for your RETREAT. You might also see deer, rabbit, squirrel, raccoon, opossum, armadillo, bobcat, fox, dove, quail, owl, hawk, bald eagle, ducks, shore birds and other wildlife along our hiking trails and in our ponds and we are evolving! Learn more about this land: Whether you are coming just to see horses or are bringing your horses to ride we can accommodate you. We have a couple of miles of trails on the farm, a round pen, and the horse essentials. We are within 30 minutes from several horse trails to include the Miccosukee Greenway, JR Alford Greenway, St Marks Horse Trail, and Wakulla State Forest Horse Trail.

North Florida Equestrian Short Stay

Beautiful except for the fire ants

The site is beautiful. A couple of things to know - you have to drive up a bumpy, grassy, hilly area, about 100 yards to get to the campsite. There is only 50amp power, not 30 or regular outlets. The camper spot is fairly narrow if you want power because there are things on the other side of it. The big issue was fire ants. About 10 feet by 5 feet of ant hole after ant hole. I was putting out my awning in the one space I could park and get the power and I had 20 ants on each shoe. My ankles were totally bitten up in the two minutes I stood there. That's why I checked the space to see if I could just move a bit and saw ant holes everywhere. No way to set up an outside space for my puppy and daughter. We left and drove on to a Cracker Barrel. The owners didn't respond until the morning and said they didn't know about the ants.

Excellent Spot in North Florida!

We enjoyed our stay here immensely! Definitely one of our favorite Hipcamp finds. Cindy and Brent were incredibly kind hosts who went out of their way to be welcoming. They gave us our space when we wanted privacy but were also very accommodating when we needed help. Cindy was nice enough to give us a tour of the lovely walking paths around the property and introduce us to the animals. The grounds themselves were beautiful. We had a nice shaded spot overlooking a pond with 50 amp electric and water. Lots of room for our pup to roam around and enjoy. We had a great stay, will likely be back, and would absolutely recommend!

Lovely

Beautiful setting. Easy to find. I arrived after dark and Cindy meet me to show me where to go. She and her husband were extremely helpful. I had a lovely walk in the morning around mown fields. And they have the best tasting water. It is a very peaceful and pretty place.
