Our trip was fantastic!! This property is gorgeous and the family takes such great care of the grounds! We got a site right next to the little beach and enjoyed the free range chickens and letting the dogs swim! We came from Ohio to let our dogs get some beach time and us as mom and dad well deserved R and R and this gave us just that. Super close to downtown Miami and all the beaches. We will be back the hot showers were a great bonus.

John was incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was set up for a comfortable visit. Really appreciated the clear communication. The spot was clean, easy to access, and felt safe and quiet. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to fellow travellers!

Beautiful place. We had the site to ourselves and the host was very friendly. We had the option of setting up came in multiple areas, on the grass or a platform. Fire pit was available and lanterns were set up around the site. Definitely will be coming back!

My wife and I stayed on John’s land for 2 nights and it was absolutely incredible! The property is genuinely stunning and John is one of, if not the best host we’ve ever had. He responded in the blink of an eye to any message I sent him and was extremely helpful with anything we needed. I would absolutely recommend this property and my wife and I will definitely be back!

Another wonderful time at John's place. We had great event with vendors, singing and space for everyone's cars. John was super attentive and kind and I would definitely do another event or celebration here. Super glad to have come here. Thanks John!

Wow, what a find so close to Miami centre. I wish we'd stayed longer (arrived evening time and left really early in the morning as had to return RV). John was so friendly. Our little boy absolutely loved the lake, he was out on the canoe within minutes. Directions were spot on. Would definitely recommend.

John's land was amazing! Such a chill spot for some quiet camping near some water, as long as you don't mind chickens and roosters and the occasional cockadoodledoo every so often. Would definitely reccomend coming back here eventually!

“Honeys Place”
This was my second time staying at Honey’s place and i need to emphasize that is an urban oasis. Driving there you go through the hustle and bustle of the city but once you arrive all of that quiets down and time slows down. The grounds are kept impeccably, the grass is green, the trees are lush and the lake is tranquil. Went to clear my mind and celebrate my dog’s birthday and came back refreshed and ready to take on life again. Thank you John for having us and being such a great host, definitely will be coming back again.

If you are looking to camp and have a good time in the company of nature, this is a good place. We were a group of friends and had a great time. We were even able to use the BBQ. I recommend it.

This was an amazing stay. The place is as advertised and as beautiful as the pictures. It's wild opening the gate in a dense neighborhood and seeing a lush garden, free range chickens, a spring fed pond, and nicely built tent pads in a hidden oasis. Although you share the space with John & other campers, there are privacy screens & enough space to make you feel secluded. You might wake up to an airplane or occasional road traffic sounds, but that's the only reminder that you're in the middle of Miami. I would stay here again.

arrived we were welcomed. electricity connected. did not work. camper fuse tripped. fridge did not work anymore. so everything could be thrown away. toilet is a dixie. how dirty is that. shower was behind a curtain without light and NO hot water. so shower in the camper. next day reported to john and he said. we will refund the booked days. unfortunately not done and he came up with excuses. so I do not recommend going there

We had an amazing time in their little paradise in Miami. John was a very inviting host and was there to help us with anything we needed during our stay. We met some great people and made some new friends during our stay. I would definitely recommend staying there if you are looking for a relaxing vacation with very nice people. We loved this little camping experience! My husband and I stayed for 1 night and enjoyed a campfire, lake view, clean designated camping spot, and great vibes. It’s right in the middle of Miami and we couldn’t believe this nature oasis exists there. Definitely recommend.

Honey’s Place was amazing! It was a tropical oasis in the middle of the city. John was very helpful with questions. The chickens were the best! I would definitely recommend Honey’s Place and I would stay there again. Enjoy!

Exceptional warm welcome, even when we arrived relatively late. John was very helpful and caring during our stay. The site was quiet during night and offers basic toilet and shower. The location is an acceptable starting point for sightseeing in Miami downtown and beach via public transportation.

John's property is the best campsite I've ever been to. He put us next to a deck right on the pond in a secluded section and we loved it. Watching the sun come up over the pond is serene and beautiful. I will come back and would highly recommend this place.
