Blue Sky Acres
What a great trip AND host! Mechile had a gem here and we're happy to have been a part of it. She's super accommodating and one wouldn't have known shes not hosted anyone in this manner before. The horse barn was a HUGE perk to stay there. It provided a reprieve from the elements and a private room to dress or relieve yourself if you happen to have brought a commode with you. She had a mini fridge to store items and electricity to the barn. She also has a sink for dishes and a hose. Her house is roughly 75 yards or so from the barn. There's a neighbor nearby but we didn't feel intruded in any way. One very small issue with a cat that scratched at our tent but Mechile took care of that the moment we notified her. We didn't see the cat any more after that. She provides you with recommendations of things to do and provides a unique experience by opening her beautiful land. My buddy and I loved the entire stay and would gladly come back!
