1,000 feet of riverfront, a pond, horse shoe pit, charcoal grill, and 3 different fire pits for you to explore. If you rent the trailer and are over 6'1 you wont be a happy camper! You will enjoy bugs, snakes, spiders, deer, otters, beavers, mice, bees, chickens (including a loud rooster name Jack)
We live on the neighboring property, but respect your privacy.
We look forward to sharing our space with you! There is a pond and river with a slippery bank full of rocks on this property. The river is a short 5 minute walk.

Our family had such a great time on the river. Even though we got some rain everyday we put our paddle boards in the water from the dock and played. The river is super peaceful and you get to see and hear lots of birds. We lucked out and had the whole place to ourselves even. Really nice to have the provided Adirondack chairs for around the campfire and watching the river too. Hosts were always very quick to respond and helpful. Road and property clean, well maintained and so was the port-o-potty on site. We even visited their horses to say hello for change of scene one afternoon. Mostly though we relaxed in the camp area and enjoyed the river. Will return for sure.

Weekend Trip to Riverfront Glamping & Camping
We had the whole area to ourselves, and it was the perfect weekend to get away and decompress. This site provided everything and more, from the creature comforts of the dome, to the beautiful river and the night skies. I’m feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Weekend Trip to Riverfront Glamping & Camping
This place was the perfect getaway—quiet, peaceful, and right by the river. We stayed in the geodome and loved the cozy wood-burning fireplace. The river was just a short walk away, making it easy to relax by the water. On clear nights, the star views were incredible—some of the best we’ve seen. We also appreciated having different cooking options, whether over the campfire or using the propane stove. The off-grid toilet was simple and convenient to use, and the privacy of the space allowed our dog to roam off leash, which made the trip even better. A wonderful spot for anyone looking to unplug and enjoy nature in comfort!

We had a very enjoyable stay! 😊 our host, Nikki was great! Very easy to reach… This was my first time camping through Hip Camp. I was able to have a bit of a family reunion out there, close to family to come visit. Lot less stress for my 14-year-old sheltie, with no other campers around. Kayaking was beautiful! Beautiful piece of property. Loved playing on the river with the family. Read a few reviews that were concerned with privacy of the camp sites, even with a few other groups there we were able to set up with plenty of distance from the others.
Make sure to read all the directions and have a decent AWF or 4WD. We were able to make it no problem with our Subaru.

What a great relaxing weekend! The property was so clean and felt very private. My granddaughter had so much fun picking blackberries for her waffles. Yes, there was road and train noise but you tune it out after the first day. We actually made a game out of the trains... who could call it coming first and was it a passenger or freight train based on sound. Saw lots of wildlife including deer, eagles and very pretty ducks. The only downside was all the gnats for 2hrs at night. Next time bugs spray.

Mark and Jennifer were lovely hosts to have. The camp spot is absolutely gorgeous and the farm animals were a delight to visit. I highly recommend camping here especially if you want a nice view of the stars at night.

Our family had an absolute blast while camping here! Erik and Michelle are super organized, very responsive and overall just wonderful hosts!
The UK RANCH is close to town, yet gives off the peaceful and relaxing vibe being nestled right along the water with privacy between each site. We paddle boarded and fished too.
Firewood was available for purchase when we booked so the bundles were there waiting for us by the pit upon arrival.
Can’t forget to mention the cute mason jar of flowers Michelle left on our picnic table as a warm welcome!!

When you first pull into the ranch there is a huge barn with stalls for horses. We made some equine friends. The camps are down a rough road to the right- our little Mazda made it, but go slow. Each of the 5 lovely spots are directly next to the river. I love that they are spaced far enough apart that you feel like you have space. There is a privacy hedge between them all. I stayed at 5, but they all looked great. 3 and 4 were a bit smaller but still completely doable for a couple tents. 1 & 2 were rented out to a large family gathering and they were having a blast on the rope swing over there. Those spots are perfect for a group. There is a nice community spot in the middle with little kiddos life jackets and some paddles for the couple of community kayaks. I took a jaunt down the river one afternoon and saw some beautiful cranes. Fresh flowers on the table, and little stack of wood greeted us. It was really peaceful to watch the wildlife and listen to the frogs and owls at night. It felt safe and wholesome. Nobody ever came to check in on us, which was kind of nice, everybody just minding their own. It is a working family owned ranch and they were busy with bringing in the hay which we got to see. I wish I’d have gone on a horse ride, but maybe next time. I would definitely go again.

3 nights at Riverfront Glamping & Camping
My wife and I had a fantastic time camping in the Ohm Dome! We stayed mid-week in late August, and practically had the entire area to ourselves. The site, and property, are filled with gorgeous oak trees, a fun garden, and the soothing sound of the river. Our dog, Newman, enjoyed exploring the area and playing fetch. We were provided a nice battery which powered our plug-in air mattress as well as powering lights and devices. We also had access to a near-private river beach (after a decent walk). Definitely want to stay here again!

So glad Erik and Michelle have chosen to share this very special place. We reserved all 5 sites for a group camping trip with 10 families. It was perfect and they were super accommodating. I loved all of the little touches, like the flowers on the tables. Site 5 was the largest and where most of the families camped. We used 1 and 2 for our group kitchen and hangout area. Site 5 does have a rope descent to the river, but there was a tree down in the river right there and it wasn't the best access to the water. It's just a few steps to the community site and dock for the best access.
