A small but unique piece of land that was given to a family in the 1920s by the Florida Railroad Company. It stayed in the family until we purchased it. It is unique because the surrounding area does not have much tree coverage. This is

We are hoping that our county stays the way it is so people will know what Old Florida really looks like.

Rasayana Cove is a 25-acre eco-retreat located in the heartland of west central Florida. An hour's drive east of Sarasota surrounded by vast tracts of orange groves and ranch land, Rasayana Cove has been operating as a small retreat center since 1995. The long eastern boundary borders Horse Creek, a major tributary of the Peace River. The property features two spring-fed ponds - one small and the other large. The cabins are accessible by well constructed shell-topped roads with good drainage and a variety of nature pathways. A natural ecosystem remains undisturbed in the middle of the property - a Florida bay head of native flora and wildlife. Our 20 acre ranch has everything from Longhorn cattle, to a white sand beach. We like to say our sand is like Siesta Key, except it's...in a swamp. Our property is not too far upstream from the Myakka State park, and parking is never a problem. ;-)
We have a beautiful homestead, and you have the choice of a furnished camper with water and power hookups in our pasture, or 2 primative tent or RV spots on the edge of a beautiful stand of Live Oak trees and Sabal palms along the river.
We have a porta potty on site that is regularly maintained.

It was a lovely, rustic site with a great ambiance. Clear skies at night free of light pollution made for a moon and starry night. Trina was very helpful and provide generous information about the site and what it offered. Though situated in a rural setting, it was just minutes away from the small town of LaBelle. Would most definitely stay again. Great value and experience.

Beautiful hipcamp in Sebring Fl. Wake up to the smell of orange blossoms as you watch the sun rise and sip your morning coffee. Enjoy the view of orange groves and watch the sun go down with an evening cocktail. We truly felt at home at Bolton and Jamie’s place and were very sad to leave. We felt completely welcome into their community and friends group. They host a get together for campers on Wednesdays and campers and friends on Saturdays. You can enjoy the beautiful pool and hot tub, walk the trails, go into town and enjoy the many lakes in the area. There is so much to enjoy at this amazing hipcamp. We can’t wait to go back next winter! Thank you Bolton and Jamie!!

Trina is a visionary who knows how to make it happen. This place is very unique and offers way more than the average campsite. There are areas you can have privacy as well as areas you can enjoy with other like minded travelers.
There is a house you can rent through Airbnb or reserve a spot for your tent or preferred camping method. I was in a camper van and there was another group on a caravanning kayaking trip with a small boat trailer, and all were able to drive to their spots without issue.
Trina and Zay were welcoming and knowledgeable about their land, made me feel right at home. As a solo woman traveler, I felt safe and slept like a baby .There’s a pond, chameleons, large open areas and a few areas that are a work in progress.
The best outdoor shower I’ve seen in years with hot water!
Would absolutely recommend and look forward to returning to see what new elements they add.
Oh, if you’re working remotely or need internet, I was able to use a hotspot through Verizon but also was able to connect to Trina’s WiFi network too.

We stayed 3 nights. The property is beautiful and located in a quite area. We enjoyed sitting by the pond and watching the wildlife. The landscaping and plants are pretty. We even got to see turtles and a peacock. We had to work remotely in our van and this was the perfect spot for an escape from busy Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. It is a short drive to shopping and parks. We did not need power but was able to get water from a hose. Our dog ejoyed the place as well. Vito was very kind. We would visit again.

Excellent location for my needs, access to gym, Jupiter Beach, Juno Beach and DuBois Park on Jupiter
Inlet. Jungle Bloom is located in a very quiet safe neighborhood. Louis is easy going and flexible. I have the Planet Fitness Black Card and could choose from 2 gyms close by and convenient to get to. I’m in a Class B and could squeeze into the side yard. “Site 2” could accommodate a larger RV or trailer and tow vehicle. My only caution is that things will be tight in Site 2 if there are 2 guests with rigs much larger than Class B.

It was comfortable and quiet. If you enjoy the outdoors, then this hipcamp was in a convenient area for things to do (e.g. Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, Pine Glades Natural Area, Cypress Creek, Riverbend Park, Jupiter, etc.).
It would be a tight fit if your vehicle is too wide or longer than 40 feet.

The Everglades National Park

The Florida Keys

When to go
Before you go camping in South Florida, consider the weather, mosquitoes, and wildlife. Avoid coastal Florida during hurricane season, especially if you’re planning a getaway to the Florida Keys. Summer in the Everglades likewise brings bugs, whereas winter’s dry season opens the door for spotting wildlife. However, winter does come with crowds, especially in national parks and resort towns. Spring and fall make for the most neutral camping seasons.
