A small but unique piece of land that was given to a family in the 1920s by the Florida Railroad Company. It stayed in the family until we purchased it. It is unique because the surrounding area does not have much tree coverage. This is due to the ground underneath, which is a vein of grey marl. This is why the area is called the Allapattah (an Indian word for Alligator) Flats. We are hoping that our county stays the way it is so people will know what Old Florida really looks like. Minutes from I-95, but surrounded by the Allapattah Flats Wildlife Management Preserve. Located on Martin Hwy, which was recently designated as a Florida Scenic Hwy. Fifteen minutes to Stuart and thirty minutes to West Palm Beach, a world away from the hustle and bustle. We realize that people also love Florida for Disney and tropical paradises but if that is what you want then this may not be your kind of place. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV. Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. A special private place like no other. You may have the place all to yourself, or share with others. It is not populated like other campgrounds. Norman has a beautiful thing going there. Really enjoyed staying at his ranch. The lovely free… fresh eggs… a place to get in out of the rain… use of the fridge… a shower… a place to recharge. He thought of everything. Thank you!

Weekend Trip to Rasayana Cove

Amazing rustic getaway in old Florida! Property is beautiful! I will stay again. Be sure to check out Solomons castle right down the street. We really relaxed & enjoyed our time. So much wildlife. Horse creek is peaceful to walk along. We loved everything about this place! See you again one day!

2 nights at J and P Creekside Retreat

Very laid back with a campsite surrounded by trees. Was looking for a staycation to take a break and rest received it in spades I'll be back. Really enjoyed Kayaking the creek Upstream.

County Lake is just beyond the campsite. Walking bridges and natural pathway allows a beautiful, serene, and partially shaded walk around the Lake. Catch and Release Fishing is permitted here.

I loved the scenic views and the sounds of wildlife. The property is great for walking, scenic photos, and provides a peaceful retreat from everyday life. The treehouse has a wrap around porch with pretty views on all sides. I loved the campfire area with wide benches a cozy two seater rocker. The host, Dennis, was very kind and knowledgeable.

I love coming to Trs Lagos! The land is beautiful, George is a wonderful host, and the Scamper is a well kept and comfortable camper. The bed is probably the most comfortable I've slept in. Thanks again for another great night!

We enjoyed our stay at Bell Oaks Ranch. The property is beautiful, quiet, and full of birds/wildlife. We had the back half to ourselves, so we had plenty of room and privacy. We greatly appreciated the clean bathroom and visited with your super sweet horses every day - thank you for hosting us!!

Weekend Trip to Taste of Old Florida

We did tent camping in this ground. We had a great time there. In between each site there’s enough space to get some privacy. We were in front of the pond and the view was nice. There’s some noise from the road near but it didn’t bother us. Thank you for having us!! Definitely recommend.

I absolutely enjoyed the camping space! Lots of room and very private. The scenery was stunning and the host was very welcoming. They are pet friendly as well so my dog loved the space too! Highly recommend if looking for a relaxing getaway.
