Our property is 15 minutes South, from I75, 10 minutes from any restaurant or publix. We are a 2 mile drive down a dirt road, through the state forest. We offer 2-3 acres of a choose your own spot camping area. Located within the Picayune Strand State Forest, full of peace and quiet, and plenty of birds. We have a facility building that runs off a generator for running water. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV.
Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. A special private place like no other. You may have the place all to yourself, or share with others. It is not populated like other campgrounds.
The property is a designated farm, and we do have chickens.
Day time check-in is 100% recommended.

Venice and Casperson Beach- the shark tooth capital of the world- is less than a hour drive from us! Come and go as you please! Safe and welcoming neighborhood. I had the pleasure of being the only camper there when I went and the privacy was incredible. His 25 acres include a watershed that creates a beautiful creek. All the property surrounding him is cattle pastures so you do not have to worry about running into any human neighbors. The hermitage cabin was perfect. I mostly spent my time wandering the property but when it was time to sleep the cabin provided me a safe place to stay and the box fan worked all through the night to keep me cool despite the hot, humid Florida evening. Dennis was a lovely host and showed me the features of the property upon check in and helped make sure I had a fire started before he went. I would highly recommend staying on Dennis’s land.

Our entire family had a wonderful time at Creekside Retreat this weekend. For the children (ages 4, 5, and 8), every moment felt like an adventure. They kayaked together for the first time and loved exploring nature-- watching birds, turtles, and all the wildlife around them.
The property seemed designed for our enjoyment: a trampoline, the hammocks, the swings, the magical lights that came on at night, and the safe walking paths where kis could explore on their own.
For us parents, it was the perfect escape from the busy city: a peaceful place to disconnect, unwind, and truly enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature.
John is an exceptional host. He was always available to answer questions, guide us around the property's many beautiful areas, and make sure we had everything we needed. His hospitality made our stay effortless and even more enjoyable.

We loved our stay at J and P creekside A frame cabin. As a reptile lover I'll probably be the only negative review for not seeing a gator, but there were many tiny lizards that could be observed at any time of day outside playing and chasing eachother. We would love to come back with a larger family group, the place was quite, private, and well maintained. I definitely recommend staying here!

Weekend Trip to Blue Fox Ranch: Lake & Farm Camp
We loved our stay at the Sunset View Camper at Blue Fox Ranch and are already looking forward to returning!
Luiz was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The ranch is a beautiful property with animals including Bruno the dog, horses, bulls, chickens, and plenty of cows. We even spotted a “swamp puppy” and caught a fish during our stay.
The camper was small but comfortable, with a queen bed, two bunk beds, a fold-out futon, a compact refrigerator, a three-burner stove, dishes, and other essentials. The bathroom was small but functional, and the hot shower was a welcome treat after a day outdoors.
One of our favorite activities was taking the paddle boat out on the water. We spent about an hour exploring, got several bites, and caught a nice small bass. The location is also convenient, with Brighton Bay Casino nearby and plenty of fishing opportunities in the area.
Be sure to bring firewood and supplies for s’mores. The night sky was breathtaking, with countless stars visible in the clear, dark skies. Although there were other campers and tent sites on the property, the ranch still felt peaceful and spacious.
We also recommend bringing apples and carrots for the horses and stopping for supplies before arriving. The nearest Walmart is in Clewiston, about 28 minutes away, though there is a Dollar General just a few minutes down the road.
If you’re looking for glamping, this isn’t it. But if you want a true camping experience surrounded by nature, Blue Fox Ranch

What a beautiful place to stay and forget about your worries! Every detail is well thought out in the Aframe and on the property. The stay is transcendent and peaceful. We would recommend 10/10. John is hospitable, easygoing and communicative. We will def be back!

With pets
The tiny a-frame was super cool. The bed is a little big for the space but super comfortable. Fridge, microwave, ice maker....all the conveniences of any other vrbo/airBnb, even a grill. The bathroom was super clean and convenient as was the outdoor shower. Way more decoration and landscaping than any other Hipcamp I've been to. Our dog was exhausted from chasing squirrels and running back and forth across the property all weekend.
