To note for all guests: We suggest arriving before dark so as to make set up easy and comfortable. We do not require a formal check-in and encourage being self-reliable in set up of primitive campsites. (For something with more structure and a space already set up, check out our Aframe cabin.) We do have water, a composting toilet, sink, and groundtemp shower for your use.

Firstly NESTLE sucks and is ruining local agriculture and access to water. That being said the family was wonderful, we had a very kind note and some great tea left by Allie and had the pleasure of meeting her father who was just a ray of sunshine. The campsite is def more of a summer camp but it was BEAUTIFUL every second! Thanks again yall!!

After five days of hotel stays with whirring AC systems, elevator sounds and weary staff members, it was BLISS to stay at Quartermoon Cottage and listen to owls as we sat around a campfire before slipping in to our four-poster bed after bidding goodnight to our incredible hosts. This was our third stay there and it won't be the last. Highly recommend.

Tent, bedding, heating, cooling included. It got down to 37 degrees. But we were comfortable. Now for the best part: there are over 100 cats that roam the camp, and they come and go from your tent as they please! We had about 6 cats in our tent at one point, and woke up to 3 cats still snuggling with us!

What an absolute adventure. Located not ever 10 mins from ichetucknee this spectacular campsite comes complete with everything you need from showers to easy fresh water to even a trampoline to get your bounce on! Not too mention all of our new feline furry friends. Oh my love these Lil critters made the trip so full of emotion and style its very easy to find favorites. The hosts were also just plain good, fun, easy going people. Will definitely be back !!!!

This little A-frame and surrounding property is absolutely perfect!!! It rained while I was there, and I had the best sleep ever listening to the rain on the roof. Allie left a little note, and set up firewood for me. All the little details were so wonderful. I highly recommend!!!

Our stay absolutely exceeded my expectations! What a beautiful, calming, and hospitable animal sanctuary/farm experience. Every Friday and Saturday night they light a fire and had marshmallows and sticks already sitting out. I loved our stay here! My daughter (7) and I were driving through and stayed over for the night before getting back on the road. What a great place to unwind. Our lodgings were so cute and cozy. In the evening we sat by fire and star gazed in the hammock. Some other folks were playing cards on the wrap around porch up at the house. A very welcome feel about the place. We spent the morning hanging out with the horses, feeding the chickens, wandering around the grounds, conversing with the parrot and playing games before getting on the road. Trudy was so kind. My daughter loved talking to Trudy and the other people visiting the farm.

Nice private campground. Plenty of privacy, very few cars come up or down the road. I saw none there in three days. One night at about 10:00 pm, some ATV riders with lights on drove through the campground on their way along the trails (I assume) but it wasn't excessively disturbing. They came off the road, through the campground, and then disappeared into the forest so not sure where they went. I didn't see much wildlife or hear anything except birds. Obviously primitive camping with no toilets, water, electricity and such...which was nice. Go, relax, and enjoy!

Ocean Pond is a large, popular campground and ranges from electric/water sites to water sites to primitive. Many of the sites are on the lake or have a lake view (it's large and definitely isn't a pond). Sites range in size and openness. There's a nice swimming area and you can pull your boat up to your site if you're on the lake. Two things to know: Unless you want lots of noise and hubbub, don't camp here during a holiday weekend. It's a popular local camp/party spot during those times. Also, May is yellow-fly season and they're blood thirsty and vicious. They laugh at bug repellent.
