To note for all guests: We suggest arriving before dark so as to make set up easy and comfortable. We do have water, a composting toilet, sink, and groundtemp shower for your use.

Weekend Trip to Purradise Springs
Our stay at Purradise Springs was magical. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed spending quality time outdoors and cuddling up with some of the MANY kitties the property owners take care of! We're really glad we could help support Denise and her husband's mission and look forward to visiting again in the future! It was just far enough away to enjoy a nature-filled getaway, but a great coffee shop was only 15 minutes down the road, and the gorgeous Ichetucknee Springs State Park was a quick drive down the road as well, making this an awesome location to stay.

Absolutely fantastic hipcamp, this is was the exact reason why we love to hipcamp: connection, safety, and adventure. By far my favorite so far. The host was so lovely and immediately made this place feel safe and like home. Firstly NESTLE sucks and is ruining local agriculture and access to water. That being said the family was wonderful, we had a very kind note and some great tea left by Allie and had the pleasure of meeting her father who was just a ray of sunshine. After five days of hotel stays with whirring AC systems, elevator sounds and weary staff members, it was BLISS to stay at Quartermoon Cottage and listen to owls as we sat around a campfire before slipping in to our four-poster bed after bidding goodnight to our incredible hosts. What an absolute adventure. Located not ever 10 mins from ichetucknee this spectacular campsite comes complete with everything you need from showers to easy fresh water to even a trampoline to get your bounce on! Not too mention all of our new feline furry friends. Oh my love these Lil critters made the trip so full of emotion and style its very easy to find favorites. The hosts were also just plain good, fun, easy going people. Will definitely be back !!!!

Nice private campground. Plenty of privacy, very few cars come up or down the road. I saw none there in three days. One night at about 10:00 pm, some ATV riders with lights on drove through the campground on their way along the trails (I assume) but it wasn't excessively disturbing. They came off the road, through the campground, and then disappeared into the forest so not sure where they went. I didn't see much wildlife or hear anything except birds. Obviously primitive camping with no toilets, water, electricity and such...which was nice. Go, relax, and enjoy!

Ocean Pond is a large, popular campground and ranges from electric/water sites to water sites to primitive. Many of the sites are on the lake or have a lake view (it's large and definitely isn't a pond). Sites range in size and openness. There's a nice swimming area and you can pull your boat up to your site if you're on the lake. Two things to know: Unless you want lots of noise and hubbub, don't camp here during a holiday weekend. It's a popular local camp/party spot during those times. Also, May is yellow-fly season and they're blood thirsty and vicious. They laugh at bug repellent.

Beautiful fresh water lake in the midst of Osceola national forest.!primitive camping, out house type toilets swimming is an option. 2 thumbs up for a place to crash for a night.
