Our Glamper tent is a 10x12 canvas furnished full size bed with bedding, pillows and enough floor space for two sleeping bags. The tents are located off a short trial, but rugged 2-minute hike from the parking area. We provide the opportunity to go camping without having to pack the tent. Closed toed shoes are highly suggested as well as plenty of lighting with batteries or solar charging capability. This is a rugged, fun and serene camping experience. There have been snakes, gators, and beavers spotted in the lake so please keep eyes open when walking and paddling around. We remove gators and water moccasins asap when spotted. I’m We had a wonderful two-day stay! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature—perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special thanks to Amanda for being so kind, helpful, and flexible throughout our stay. She made us feel very welcome. The property is also very clean, safe, and secure, so we felt comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend this place, and we’d love to visit again!

Weekend Trip to Malakai 🏕 different by design

We can't wait to go back. we stayed in the glamping tent in July and the ac and fans kept the tent nice and cool. We brought yoga mats to add cushion to the wood beds and it was perfect. The kids loved the nature trail. It is a beautiful, and well kept property...and it felt safe and peaceful. The Host is the best! He was so sweet to talk to the kids about all the plants and wildlife.

Weekend Trip to East Bay Family Retreat

I loved tent camping on Sarah's land! The views were beautiful and directions were clear. There was another site nearby but it was quiet. Loved going for 4th of July weekend highlight on campsite was taking a shower at night with the twinkling lights and the fireworks going off. Such a great experience and a magical moment.

An amazing place to stay. It had everything a person could possibly need. It is a little rustic but gosh darn does it get the job done. Couldn’t recommend it more. Really great wifi. Like really good. Will be returning. As a city boy who’s not the biggest fan of camping. This is how camping should be done. Great place.

The property was beautiful! The accommodations were all very nice from the bathrooms and kitchen area to the campsites themselves. Very clean and very beautiful. Highly recommend taking the kayak trip and bringing some floaties/boogie boards for the river. Amanda is a great communicator and extremely nice, 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming back! The campsites are spaced out nicely so they aren’t too far away from one another but far enough to enjoy the peace and quiet, great for groups or couples!

This place was great! We stayed in the glamping tent/cabin, and despite absolute downpouring rain, we were bone dry inside, and quite comfortable. The AC unit gave us tremendous relief, at night we literally got chilly. Such a cool atmosphere in the whole area. The host was great, he met us even though we showed up late at night, he gave us a tour of the area and we saw him from time to time throughout the trip and he was a pleasure to chat with. Definitely recommend!

Gene was an EXCELLENT host for this little get away. He even took us for a boat ride out in the lake! I highly recommend this spot as he and his military memorabilia are something to admire while soaking in the views from the breezeway bar outside :) Definitely plan to get out this way again!!!

This was a beautiful and tranquil spot. Lush green and waterfront area, gracious hosts and the cabin was perfect to relax and take a break from ‘busy life’. Larry and Sheila were more than accommodating. The cabin was perfectly stocked and spotless upon arrival. I enjoyed my time so much, I extended another week! Thanks Larry and Sheila. Well thought out campground, nice kitchen and bathhouse. We had fun exploring the trails and hanging out on the beach. The yurt was very comfortable. You can tell Amanda puts a lot of pride and care into her space.
