Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Cypress Landing is a lakefront RV park and cabin stay on Gantt Lake in Covington County, Alabama, just outside Andalusia. With 63 RV sites tucked among the trees and right along the water, it’s a peaceful south Alabama getaway for weekend trips, longer stays, and winter snowbirds. Choose from back-in or pull-through RV sites, including premium lakefront spots with water views, or book one of our two cabins if you’re traveling without a rig. All sites have fresh gravel and upgraded electrical hookups. Spend your days fishing, rent a Go Boat to cruise and explore Gantt Lake, or kick back under the covered pavilion. The park has a bathhouse with showers, an air-conditioned laundry room, and a camp store for the basics. Planning something bigger? Our 40x80 Event Barn has A/C and heat and hosts weddings, family reunions, RV rallies, and group get-togethers all year long. Cypress Landing is owned and operated by Todd and Sheila Konitzer of the RV lifestyle brand Switch It Up, and we’re adding new improvements all the time, with big plans for 2027. Come see what’s new! Since tent camping is no longer offered, double check that the Hipcamp listing type and site settings only show RV sites and cabins so nobody books expecting a tent spot.
