Loved our primitive camp spot! And the band that played after the rain shower on Saturday night was phenomenal! We hikes to Bernard’s Badass Waterfall Sunday morning before our drive back to Georgia…steep downhill then steep uphill back, but the waterfall was worth it.

Overnight stay but hosts were very accommodating and pleasant to talk to. Had the 30amp service/water needed and a nice view while staying. Shower/restroom facilities were clean and they offer some snacks and drinks in their secure bldg. If your into archery they have a nice extensive range w/numerous 3d targets throughout.

Beautiful site!! Close enough to the main attractions but far enough away to be private and quiet. Gulf Shores Sportsplex only 10 minutes away. Hosts were extremely nice and respectful of our privacy. Great fishing hole right out the front door. Loved this place and will stay here again! Thank you for a perfect trip!

We expected a relaxing bay/bayou getaway, and it did not disappoint. The site itself was well-kept and clean, and the atmosphere relaxed us immediately. We also felt very safe in our surroundings. Food, drink and supplies are close by as well.
The hosts, Michael and Cindy, were extremely hospitable and friendly...you know you'll have a solid stay when the host greets you and guides you into your spot without having to ask. :-)
We can't recommend thus place enough, and we will be repeat visitors. :-)

You don't register for a specific site, but upon arrival I asked which sites were the best. They were very forthcoming. I would recommend primative site #1 or #2. The 4th of July concert and fireworks were great! And everyone in the campgrounds were very friendly and most were long stay (which means they are respectful) or return guests (also respectful). The store was great as I forgot a few things and the staff was very helpful!

This was a beautiful and tranquil spot. Lush green and waterfront area, gracious hosts and the cabin was perfect to relax and take a break from ‘busy life’. Larry and Sheila were more than accommodating. The cabin was perfectly stocked and spotless upon arrival. I enjoyed my time so much, I extended another week! Thanks Larry and Sheila.
