BRING YOUR BOAT đŸš€, JETSKI, KAYAK or CRAB 🩀 POT. Riverside camping đŸ•ïž with a boat ramp! Looking for a weekend away, somewhere to take the kids for school holidays or Christmas 2023. Escape civilisation to this tranquil riverfront campground. Moon River Farm is a hidden gem and located within eyeshot of the popular Tumbulgum village. Launch your tinny into the Tweed River or cruise along the Rous River. Drive 10 mins South to reach the beautiful town of Murwillumbah or 25 mins north is the stunning suburb of Tweed Heads. The Gold Coast airport is only 40 mins north and the popular Byron Bay is only a 45 min drive South. We call our property heaven on earth. No parties allowed, however your more than welcome to crack some beverages around the fire and enjoy sleeping under the stars. Noise to be kept at a minimum. A private toilet and basin provided. No power. The price is $99 per night (off-peak). This includes up to 8 people. The site can have a maximum of 12 people, which would be an additional $10 per head. Private, central and peaceful.
Ok so this place is private, tranquil, great fishing and easy access to great nearby services. The toilet is nice and clean and close. The riverbank is steep, muddy and not suited for getting in and out of a boat. The private boat ramp is about 500m away and pops you straight into the tweed across from Tumbulgum. Tia is great to deal with and any issue was addressed courteously.

Secret camping spot!
A lovely place to camp with great fishing and crabbing. Very picturesque and close to everything - Northern Rivers Rail Trail is a must! Unfortunately it was quite wet when we were camping and the mosquitoes were absolutely horrendous on dusk and during the night (even with a fire and repellent). Communication with hosts was excellent. Would return in better weather if visiting the region in the future.

Highly recommended. Private secluded site, nice clean toilet right on the river. Good fishing and crabbing. Was raining when we went, but hope to go back when it a little more dry.

River camping
Great spot, reasonably secluded, easy to find, easy access with 2wd, good swimming spot at boat ramp, close to town, great toliet very clean, grass mowed and flat. Would definitely stay here again.

Such a cool place to go, the river is awesome, it’s deep with a large frontage. The kids had a blast playing in it. We saw plenty of fish, however we just managed to catch Bream.

About loved the spot right on the river and having the place to ourselves was wonderful. Will definitely be going back again.
