Had a great time! We were able to see the baby cow and all the other animals on the farm. We were really happy about all of the quality food in the farm stand also. Carrol was responsive and attentive during our stay. Would recommend.

The bus was great! Having the farm stand close by made life easier. We were so lucky that the momma cow just had her baby so we got to see her running and playing through the grass which was adorable. Would definitely recommend!

Great tent site with a flat area for tent, fire pit, parking next to tent, and a really nice sunset view. Host, outhouse, shower, and farm animals were all great. Highly recommend.

Beautiful spot with a farm stand, nice composting toilet, ample fresh water, and farm animals. Lower pasture campsite isn’t very flat, but it worked fine.

Carol and Broadfork were great! We were doing a 5 day bike tour and Carol was very accommodating The camping was awesome and the breakfast sandwiches were amazing.

Carol runs one of the best Hipcamps I've been to. One thing that comes across in a stay there is that she enjoys hosting, sharing the farm, her food, the good produce, the views....
I spent 2 nights in the upper tent site.
Because I am often looking for the private setup, I had some reservations, as the site is right off the driveway. But instead of it being not private, it was a fantastic place to be near people who totally respected my privacy (didn't start conversations, didn't appear to be paying attention to what I was doing....) but also near all the animals, who I could interact with or not (and by "interact" I mean stand on my side of the fence and talk to them, observe them, or go along with Carol as she feeds and tends them (getting lessons you might not have known you would enjoy), and with fantastic views, and--perhaps importantly for some of you--near her food. I had most of my own, but when I ran out, I ordered her breakfast and coffee--which I enjoyed looking out over the valley, listening to the chickens, goats, cow, geese and pigs wake up. She brought it in a lovely basket--all fresh, local ingredients, all delicious.
The lower valley tent site looks a lot more private, but lacks the views, and the lovely community feel I didn't even know I wanted. Glad I stayed above.

The area is beautiful and the animals are so cute! We had a lovely and relaxing time here.
One thing to note about this site is that there is not much privacy (i.e., the spot is right on the driveway which gets used quite a bit). That said, the hosts are very gracious and gave us as much space as they could!

Great night on July 5th camping at the secluded tent spot. Carol greeted us and showed us around. We were treated to fireworks on the farm by the residents. A short walk up the hill to a clean privy and drinking water.

Absolutely beautiful property and amazingly thoughtful and kind host! The breakfast was AMAZING and we wished we had ordered the welcome board as we missed the closing time at the local store, Willey’s (which we also recommend checking out), but we ate a bunch of strawberries from her stand and were satisfied. Great stop on the LVRT and yes there is some uphill but it’s not all uphill and was much more pleasant than expected. Totally worth the side trip and made an amazingly relaxed and easy finish to St. Johnsbury the next morning.

Carol is a very gracious host and they have a nice little set up on Broadfork farm with a clean bathroom, water spigots and picnic tables. The cold shower felt great after a long day of riding.

I spent a night on the bus as a unique alternative to camping, and it was such a cozy experience! The fold-out bed was super comfortable—I just used my own sheets and felt right at home. I wish I had more time to enjoy all the fun add-ons, but I was on a bit of a tight schedule. The adorable farm animals and breathtaking scenery made it totally worth it. Highly recommend!

having not camped for decades, this was a practice run for an upcoming trip. it was a totally superb overnighter. carol was a warm and caring host who made certain i had everything i wanted. ordered an addon of a picnic basket for late night snacking and she nailed it, fresh and homemade foods. debriefed with carol the next morning after i slept in and we seemed to agree that experience was a perfect success. fun, comfortable, great scenery, farm animals, and totally accessible. i'd do it again in a heartbeat and expect to be back.

Excellent spring stay at Carol's place for two nights. I was a cyclist on the LVRT getting on the trail in nearby Greensboro Bend, VT. Bus is electrified with wireless and is located right in front of the pastures for enjoyable views of the animals. The bed was comfortable and I requested the electric heater for overnight as it went down to the 30s (and I was comfortable). Carol is very knowledgeable about the area and is extremely responsive to contact. There is a tiny town with a library and general store and lake access nearby.
I ordered a breakfast and a lunch and it was AMAZING!!!! I cannot say enough good things about the food.

Carol's place was amazing and made me realize how much Vermont truly has to offer. I even got the homemade breakfast that was beyond amazing with the best apple juice I've ever had. I enjoyed seeing the farm animals and they were quite entertaining. Carol had plenty of recommendations of what to do in the area. This was the first place I booked with Hipcamp and I'm glad I found this place. Highly recommend if you're thinking about it.

Stayed at the tent site, it was clean and easy to access. Traditional setup with a simple flat grassy area for the tent, fire ring and a picnic table.
Awesome host, fresh produce, and beautiful view, would stay again!

We loved camping in the bus! The beds are actually very comfortable, and the space inside the bus is perfect for just two people. Property was easy to find, even in the dark. The bus and outhouse were very clean. And the views from the property are amazing! Carol was very sweet and friendly! The breakfast basket was great! Would love to stay here again someday!
