Learn more about this land: We are a 501c3 Farm Sanctuary! We care for 30+ farm animals. You can follow us @onalaskafarmsanctuary on Facebook or Instagram. The camping area is nowhere near the animals or the rescue. Sorry! Our 35 acre parcel is "no frills camping" 15 minutes from Interstate 5. We are one hour from Mt Rainer and one hour and fifteen minutes from Mt Saint Helens. The camping area is an old christmas tree farm. We maintain two spots for camping. We have one porta-potty shared between campsites. Each campsite has one picnic table, fire-ring and access to a porta-potty. The area is quiet and secluded. Black-tailed Columbian deer are regular visitors, while the barn owls will serenade you in the evening. You will be able to see ALL the stars!  The road is suitable for small RVs, campervans, truck camping, small school buses, and cars (as long as the cars have some ground clearance). Not suitable for Class A RVs. It is an old logging road made of compacted rock. Cell service is spotty but it does work. Upload/download speeds might be slow.

Site #2 Faces a pasture where you can watch barn owls hunt in the evenings. The site is tucked into the woods just a bit, enough to give you tree cover. The space is flat grass. Picnic table with a fire-ring.

Jessica’s land was just what we needed for an overnight camping trip - quiet, spacious, picturesque, and relaxing. The directions were great, the toilet was clean, and communication was excellent. Occasionally, we could hear road noise, but it wasn’t bothersome, and was swallowed up by the sound of birds. Albeit a short trip, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and we highly recommend it. Thank you, Jessica!

Very peaceful property. Weather was not so great, so we had it all to ourselves. Very clean porta potty. It was very private with plenty of room for two trucks setup. I'd recommend for a night or two.

We decided to stay here spontaneously on our way home, in order to extend our camping trip. The site was super private and peaceful. The price was great too. Yes, the porta potty could use more frequent servicing, as other reviews have mentioned, but it wasn’t overflowing or anything. We were disappointed not to get a chance to tour the sanctuary farm, we never got info from the host on that, but we did get a surprise fence line visit from some neighboring cows! The fresh blackberries we were able to pick for breakfast were yummy too. Spotty reception for our t-mobile users and no reception for our Verizon users.

Overall we had an AMAZING time camping out under the shooting stars this past tuesday night. The site was very private and was exactly what we were looking for as our overnight get away to a dark sky adventure. Only hiccup was the GIANT hornet nest a few short yards away from the designated camp site. Lots of VERY LARGE hornet activity caused us to modify our planned happy hour and we actually packed up and moved to site #1 in the early am hours so we could enjoy a relaxing breakfast in the wonderful setting. Thanks again for hosting us!

It was peaceful very little noise.and you can pull right up to the sites.we had number 2 there are a lot of ants but they didn't bother us it was amazing the ants have literally hyways you can see them going back and forth.warning to the owner in spot 2 there is a papper wasps nest right on the trail back of the site.But they didn't bother us.It was a fun trip the goats were very friendly and cool we fed them apples

I loved camping Under the Cedars. The spot was gorgeous and so peaceful. We saw a deer as we drive in. Other than her, we were alone in the woods. Very relaxing. Spots well marked. Easy access for our 24' Class C RV.

Very quiet, possibly because we were the only campers on the site. Easy to find, with clear site markers. Porta potty available but it was super full, there was no TP and lots of spiders and webs in the unit. Nice shade from the trees, saw a few baby bunnies!

Site #2 felt private. The actual footprint of the space was not large but there was a lot tall grass and trees around you so it didn't feel small. The portapotty did not smell but it was the fullest i have ever seen.

We had a last minute booking. After traveling all day we decided to stay for the night. 10 minutes after booking it we arrived and only waited for a few minutes for a gentleman to show us the way. We parked our camper and enjoyed the evening. Loved the area. Very private, trees and flowers everywhere. The sounds of the rain at night were very relaxing. Would definitely stay again.

Easy to find, great communication, well-maintained roads and sites! Jessica was able to accommodate us last-minute after we goofed other camping plans. Other campers were there but it felt totally private and peaceful. We loved seeing the neighboring cows hanging in the trees in the early morning and the walking paths were a bonus!

Site was very private. We slept in a tent and had plenty of space, nice fire pit and picnic table, it was great! Be aware the property is in an area near other houses and farm animals that we heard at various times (barking dogs, roosters) so if you want absolute silence this is not the place for you. The birds were amazing!

Easy to find and private. Tree coverage was nice to have in the rain. While there was a toilet, I opted to use my portable one because there were cobwebs all over and in the toilet.

My dog and I had a great stay! Sites are quite private even tho 1 and 2 are relatively close together (shared porta-potty). Some paths to walk around the property which was great. Site 2 is right up against the neighbors land but I didn’t see or hear anyone the whole time. Blackberries are everywhere which is great when they are in season! Just need watch for the prickers on the ground and along the edges of the sites/paths. Only downside was that there were some biting ants scattered around, not a ton in one area but a couple everywhere I looked on the ground near my site. We didn’t have much of an issue with it; I just put a towel down on the ground to stand on and let my dog sit on the picnic table because he was bitten a couple times. He didn’t seem too bothered by it regardless. Verizon service has about 2 bars, enough to text but not enough to surf the internet - perfect for camping IMO! Overall an AWESOME little getaway at a great price.
