Private camping for small group. The porta-pot hadn’t been serviced in a very long time, bring your own TP.

Loved exploring the quiet little area of Bay Center. Had a lovely time camping at the cabin and would definitely do it again! Loved the fire pit and having the sink available (even if just cold water!)

This was a great, private place to camp away from people. Yes, it does have a porta-potty but it wasn’t dirty at all. There was a sink and a BBQ. Great place for a campfire.

We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights for the 4th of July weekend from Portland. We had never been to this part of Washington, though we have been to Long Beach (about an hour away). The spot has a sink and running cold water. There was a freshly cleaned porta potty as well. There is also no power hook ups. The fire pit area has an adjustable grill on a stake that we used often. We used the gas grill once, but the camp fire was heat on demand. Our tent was set up facing the fire, the area was quiet. The small town is worth walking to from here. The area is amazing.
Also, the town’s population was less than 250 and we happened to find out that a local who lost his son a few years ago in a boating accident was putting on a firework show. It was an AMAZING firework show comparable to one a city would put on. It must’ve cost him thousands and nearly the entire town was there cheering.
For being one of our first instances camping, it was definitely a great experience!

My son and I stayed here and we loved the quiet, frogs singing at night. The grass area was great to set up the tent and the fire pit was awesome. The bathroom was not usable (very dirty) but there i a campground down the road that we used the toilet at. The host explained that the company forgot to service the portapotty. I will go back because of the privacy but hope the issue with the portapotty gets resolved.

Great space, very quiet neighborhood. Loved relaxing and listening to the birds and frogs. Great space for wildlife lovers/ birdwatchers. Will be back.

Host was unresponsive in arranging our stay, we had no indication of where our spot was and there was a permanent camper set up in the only likely spot. Property was unkept and toilet had not been maintained. Luckily, we found an alternate site and did not stay here due to the conditions.

This was so convenient, private and well set-up for glamping! Short walk to an idyllic little harbor. You absolutely must walk to Skylar's and have some oysters while there. Already talking it up with friends for a return trip.

It was just as described. You're in a little "neighborhood" of sorts, but plenty of privacy, and peace and quiet. Ports potty was super clean and appeared to be recently serviced. No odor whatsoever. I saw a black bear about 100 yards down the road which was cool. If you're looking for convenience at any point, tou can get a nice bowl of FRESH chowder (and other things) at Skylers which is about a mile or so away. Come prepared for camping though. No amenities for miles in any direction. I will be back. Great little spot for a reasonable price.

We really enjoyed the privacy of a single campsite for our dogs to roam without incident. Limited facilities are available nearby so pack and plan appropriately for a great stay!

Personally we find the site more ideal for a self contained rv or van. Porta potty did not appear maintained. Tent camping was a touch challenging for a couple of nights when the lawn is lumpy and overgrown.
If you have a reactive dog who do not like fireworks, this spot is not ideal for 4th of July weekend. Our senior dog did fine, we happen to notice that the fireworks nearby were definitely not fun for dogs who react to loud noises.
There’s water onsite, and located in a nice neighborhood, it is a better private option compared to the KOA campground nearby.

This was a great, out-of-the-way spot. I must mention that we booked our stay the day before we stayed there, so I’m being conscious of that fact. However, the yard hadn’t been cut for some time, as it was very long. Also, the Portapottie had not been serviced in quite a while, resulting in a truly disgusting state of cleanliness. It was completely unusable due to the thousands of flies in there and the horrendous stench. Again, we only booked the day before, so I would hope with more notice that the whole place would have been better kept.

Great spot, stayed 2 nights. Favorite things were the huge fire pit, the deer walking around the property, and the peaceful location. Definitely recommend.

Mikes little piece of the WA coast was lovely. The covered area was exactly what we needed when it decided to rain. The sink works and even though we didn't use the BBQ, it was there. The grass area was nice and flat for our camp. It was cool to see the crab traps...kinda wish the boat was there :)
The wildlife area was just so lovely...very peaceful and tranquil.
The Crabbin Cabin did not disappoint...we would totally stay there again. It was a great location between the Oregon coast and Ocean Shores

I had a quick stay to park and camp, but it was a safe space and had porta potty available for use. Mike was responsive and kind, and this area is a special little piece of land, I enjoyed my drive out on the way to Astoria. Thanks Mike!

Porta potty needed serviced. The site is not very inviting, just a course rocky pad to park on without any other amenities such as a picnic table. Only plus for the site, it was very quiet.

This place was great! I did try to reach the host but assuming by the camp location (crab cabin 🤣) I figured he must be out traveling or fishing somewhere! (He never got back to me, but We had a great stay with our pups. Great location plus you can hit up the KOA like a 1/2 away for late night Ice cream 😋. It’s great coming back to your own little area of peace. There are some fishy smells in the air 🤣. But if you put your tent in the right spot it’s no worry. Would definitely stay again if we go back to the area!
