Cute little property! A nice place if you want to be close to hiking areas or just lay low for a bit. Keep in mind there’s no cellphone service and the property is right off a main road (not near a home so you have the place to yourself, but the road was loud). The cabin had a wonderful wood stove, sink, mini fridge, electric stovetop and tons of thoughtful equipment. Though our trip was short we hope to come back to the area again one day.

Absolutely perfect for us. We rented it for a month. Plenty of parking. Everything we needed. Plenty. Of parking for our boat and additional small pop up truck camper. Super clean porta potty. Excellent

A little gem of a spot - well worth the travel and can't wait to return. Cozy with games and lights. Clean bathroom facilities. Firewood that you can buy on-site and pay online is a great plus. Highly accessible to lots of hiking places.

We had another lovely weekend at Pine Cone cabin for the second year in a row. Once again it was clean and welcoming. Highly recommend and we would love to be back in the future!

The cabin is very cozy and loft is surprisingly spacious! We stayed on a cold winter night when it was 3 degrees outside but very toasty inside with the stove. Great trails nearby.

The wood stove was super easy to use! The fire started quickly, and warmed up the cabin very quickly! Perfect amount of space for three people to stay, although 4 folks would fit comfortably as well! We liked that the loft was carpeted. The burner and fridge were great to have. Special shout out to the bell on the outside of the cabin, it was a delightful addition to the aesthetic.

We stayed at Pine Cone Cabin in late January when it was -16 degrees out. The cabin kept us warm with the wood stove, and we enjoyed a quiet weekend away. The driveway was plowed when we arrived making it easy for us to park close to the cabin and there was wood available for purchase even though we had come prepared. This is our second time staying at the cabin. Our last visit was in summer. I think both seasons are equally enjoyable at this space as long as you are well prepared.

My stay at Pine Cone Cabin was exactly what I'd hoped for. The perfect balance of rustic simplicity and creature comforts. The wood stove kept the cabin warm all night even when the temps dipped to 0 degrees. Though there are a few houses nearby, the cabin feels and is incredibly private. I felt safe there as a woman alone, from out of town.
I don't love portapotties so I brought my own camping toilet to offset my need for it, and appreciated there being ample space in the bathroom to set it up. That said, the portapotty was clean and had no odor.
I loved exploring the nearby forests - some are closed during winter but Kettle Pond State Park's trail is open and well worth walking through... wintertime in Vermont is truly something :)
fyi, Mint mobile cell signal in the cabin and general area is spotty and mostly nonexistent, which I anticipated and was glad to have downloaded some music and a couple movies in advance.
A perfect stay - I'd love to return.

We are a family of four including two teenagers. We had a great time! It was just enough space to feel like we were having an adventure while having real quality time, huddled around the wood stove playing games.
We also found a nearby walk at Kettle Pond, which was the perfect happy, medium for the cold temperatures and beautiful surrounding landscapes.
The hosts were very communicative and gave us a lot of privacy. Amazing!

Susanna's Pine Cone Cabin experience was everything I could have asked for when booking blind for the first time. The cabin is beautiful and cozy, the location is peaceful and serene, and the available amenities on site and nearby all make this a seamless way to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Vermont.

Pine Cone Cabin
Small, cozy, and warm cabin. It snowed 2/3 days we were there, and wood stove kept us toasty! Dog’s enjoyed the little trail to the power lines in the morning. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

This is a perfect spot for the fall time when the leaves are changing colors, the roads to and from have incredible views as well as the view from the cabin. Nearby trails also have incredible views, Owl Head’s Trail specifically has an amazing summit view to check out, and if you’re not avid hiker you can drive most of the way to the top. Small yet spacious, it’s a perfect cabin to get away from everything for a few days to enjoy the nature.
P.S. Verizon service works though seems to potentially have issues with data intermittently mostly during the daytime, calls and texts were always available

Pine Cone Cabin was exactly what we needed. I was able to book the trip the same week we stayed (thank goodness). The directions were clear, and the description of what was provided vs what you needed to pack in & out was nice and direct. The cabin providing electricity was super nice, we were able to use our dog’s perimeter collar and let them roam off-leash safely. The sleeping loft is a much larger space than we ever anticipated! The land was very relaxing, and if you are an active person there is plenty of walking/biking/hiking/fishing spots all within 10-30 minutes of the cabin. Plan to revisit this one!

Susanna’s cabin was beautiful! We loved how simplistic the set up is, but it had everything we needed including a shower. The local pond, Ricker State is beautiful and the water was even warm. We enjoyed the firepit in the evening and an al fresco coffee at the picnic table.

Pine Cone Cabin is exactly as shown! We got in late and there just so happened to have been a tree down that cut the power which made settling in a bit of a challenge but we were grateful for the peaceful place to lay our heads. We were happy to see the shower and dishes which we weren’t expecting!

Amazing place, such fresh air. The cabin had all the accommodation you may need, (toilet outside ) if you like to camp having a hot shower is a luxury! The host were great , easy instructions. Quiet town! Green and more green everywhere you look . I will be returning!

Had an awesome stay at the Pine Cone Cabin. The land was perfect for a short weekend trip with some friends. The cabin was very convenient and comfortable. Fire pit was awesome! Would definitely go again.
