The cabin is a cozy, off-grid, forest escape with views of the Green Mountains. It offers a peaceful experience with nature, secluded in the woods providing you with both privacy and quiet. The gradual hike up from the parking area takes about 15 minutes, leading you through wide woodland trails. This is certainly a unique getaway and ideal for those looking for a rustic camping adventure with the comforts of a beautiful cabin. The cabin is entirely off grid: ⚡️no electricity 🚽no plumbing 💧no running water Amenities available at the cabin: 🍳propane gas cooking stove/oven (propane not included) 🪵woodstove for heat (firewood not included) 🚻outhouse 🍽coffee mugs, kettle, coffee press, knives, disposable cups, plates, bowls, and utensils Things to consider when booking: 🛌 the cabin provides one comfy king bed, and twin bunk beds. Pillows are provided at the cabin. Bedding is available by special-request only. Clean sheets need to be picked up at the main house where you park, and returned upon check-out. ⛰️guests will need to be prepared to bring what they need, hike in with their belongings, be self-sufficient, use an outhouse, operate a propane gas cookstove/oven and start a woodstove, if you choose to use firewood 🧳you will want to come prepared, so pack for camping with bedding, toiletries, food/water, flashlights/lanterns, proper clothing/footware, and all of your personal day-to-day and safety essentials ⛰️this is an authentic mountain-cabin experience, so please only book with realistic expectations. Guests are responsible for knowing the weather during their stay and packing accordingly. 🌲please understand that due to the remote location in the woods and lack of electricity/running water, it is impossible to get the cabin 100% clean. The cabin is a cozy, off-grid, forest escape with views of the Green Mountains. Great getaway
The direction to Monica’s land was spot on. You are greeted by her sweet dogs. Monica is very nice and responded promptly to my messages. The walk to the cabin is a little challenging but well worth it. The cabin is very cozy and the view is amazing. Beautiful sunsets sitting on the deck

Remote cabin with beautiful view.
We really enjoyed staying at the Highland Farms cabin. We were looking for a remote spot, and no artificial light around because we wanted to see the Perseids Meteor shower, and we were not disappointed. The sunset was also spectacular. Very cozy cabin, in a remote spot, with a beautiful view of surrounding fields and mountains. We usually bring a lot of gear, so it was a bit of a scramble up the trail, but we made it. If you can carry everything in using backpacks, then it's very easy. We had a cooler, and a full size tote. I would highly recommend.
