We stayed in Jimbo’s field two nights instead of a hotel while our daughter competed in dance at a high school nearby. It’s a nice big grassy field and was a pleasant place to stay but you should know there is no shade. On cool days this would be no problem.
We reserved this not knowing the two days would be the hottest of the year (96 and 97 degrees) so our plans to leave the dogs in the RV were foiled and we had to wait until 8 or 9 pm for the RV to cool down. It took quite a while for the RV to cool down from 108 degrees with AC. Luckily there were no issues running the generator. So we recommend for sure - just check the weather!!
I spent four nights in jimbo’s beautiful flowery field! It is out in the country but still convenient getting to town. I really enjoyed my stay and i would definitely stay again! The nearby maclane nature park is totally worth a visit.
