Weekend Trip to Sevier River RV Park

We were welcomed by the host himself who explained all about the camp and guided us to our site. He is extremely welcoming and friendly. The check-in was quick and effortless. Our site was very spacious and with a lot of shadow. We enjoyed the rural atmosphere, with many animals in fenced areas (hens, turkeys) or roaming freely (rabbits, ducks). Note that, if you pick a site close to the hen house, you'll hear their cock-a-doodle-doo in the morning (we loved it). The camp is located close to a small river, so in some sites you can hear its relaxing sound and a fresh breeze. The camp offers a lot of useful extra amenities (laundry, sodas, ice, food) at very little cost. The wifi works, but is a little less powerful in some sites. If this is important to you, we recommend you ask the host in advance as he can suggest the best spot to you. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience and definitely recommend it.

2 nights at Stoneview Camp

Everything was as advertised. We were able to find a level shady spot to park our two vehicles and trailers. The swing was a treat for the kids and the portapotty was satisfactory (could use some service, but it didn’t stink). We enjoyed checking out Pine Lake. Water was available about 10 minutes away at Pine Lake Campground, so we filled our water jugs there.

1 night at Stoneview Camp

Tim is extremely welcoming, and has a great set up for Hip Camp. If you are ever in the Bryce Canyon area - we highly recommend staying at this site. It was close to the park, but also featured bike and walking trails right off of the camp to explore when back at our camper. Thank you so much for being so kind and accommodating - - you helped make our trip to the Mighty 5 memorable!

1 night at Red River Camp - Capitol Reef

Red Cliff was very private, quiet, and had beautiful views. If you're near Capital Reef, we highly recommend staying at this beautiful and serene site!

Wonderful peaceful spot. Minor road noise, but not intrusive. Overall it feels isolated with no near neighbors. Great view across the pasture to Boulder Mountain. Hookups worked well. Easy entry. We love staying here for a few days every year to do hikes in Capitol Reef and Boulder Mtn, as well as biking . Always worth the drive to Boulder for a dinner at Hells Backbone Grill.

It is a small rv park, with a friendly staff in the office. It has a beautiful view to the north and is very quiet after sunset. They also have a small BBQ restaurant inside the park that serves a decent selection of smoked entrees.

We have a large graveled area and circular drive that can accommodate up to 4 rv’s. There is a large front and back yard with grass, and a fire pit. If you’re traveling with kids we have a swing set area they are welcome to play on. For electricity, You may run an extension cord to our home or barn. You are welcome to use our fresh water for drinking and refilling your rv tank. There is no sewer provided. We have a small terrier and we are happy to host your fur baby as well, however please be thoughtful of or neighbors who raise Alpacas. For this reason, only well mannered and well socialized dogs are allowed. We can not host anyone with a dog that would be aggressive towards them. Dogs must be on a leash, and we ask you to please clean up after them. There’s plenty of space to walk your dog around the five acre property or up the quiet county lane we live on. From our farm you can drive directly to the mountains and onto the Paiute OHV trail system that has over 275 miles of designated trails! There’s so much to do here, Visit Fish Lake, bullion falls, Mystic hot springs, float the river to big rock candy mountain, or test out miles of bike trails. We are at a crossroads between the national parks, Capital Reef is 85 miles to the east, Bryce Canyon is 92 miles south, and Zion is 123 miles south.

Discover the charm of Junction RV Park, a hidden gem nestled in the serene landscapes of rural Junction, Utah. Our campground offers a peaceful retreat at an elevation of 6,000 feet in Piute County, making it an ideal destination for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty. We are currently closed for the season and will reopen on May 15, 2025. Please note that we do not have an online reservation system. Please be aware that we no longer offer a discount for Escapees RV Club members. Junction RV Park features 10 full hookups, including water, sewer, and electric connections—7 with 50 amp service and 3 with 30 amp service. Our park includes several pull-through spaces, accommodating RVs and trailers up to 40 feet in length. Please note that we cater exclusively to self-contained units, as we do not provide restrooms or showers; however, we do offer a small laundry facility for your convenience. As a seasonal park, we welcome guests from mid-May through the end of September.
