Escape to open high desert land, on an Ancient Native American Village dotted with shady juniper trees and endless views. Nights sparkle with unreal starry skies, and there are plenty of cozy camping spots with fresh drinking water on site. Find us just off scenic Highway 12 beside the Grand Staircase National Monument with Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef National Parks waiting close by. Hike world famous trails like the Escalante River and Coyote Gulch or explore wonders like the Cosmic Ashtray or shimmy through slot canyons like Zebra and Spooky Gulch. Kids love the hoodoos and arches at Devils Garden and nearby lakes offer relaxing fishing days at places like Posey Lake and Barker Reservoirs. Canyoneering, guided fishing and ATV rentals are all close by. There is a brand new Family Dollar within a couple miles. We’re fortunate to have our Medical clinic and pharmacy in Escalante. There are several restaurants in Escalante and also a grocery and nice organic grocery store. We have something magical here for every kind of explorer.
